I have been taking my cats here for the past 5 months and I would strongly recommend this practice for a few reasons.1. Dr. Hess. He's thorough, kind, and takes the time to listen and show he cares about my pets.2. The staff. They've got a great, caring team here running a modern practice in a nice office.3. Value. I have found this practice to be fairly priced relative to what I was paying prior to my move to the area. My cat's monthly meds are almost half the price.

They are also so helpful and sweet with my dog! My dog is reactive to other animals and they are accommodating to her with late appointments and making sure there aren't any other animals around when she comes in. On Halloween they even gave her a special treat bag for dressing up!

Dr Hess and his entire staff are patient, kind and caring. 5 stars is not enough. They helped us through a very sad situation with our young dog with empathy and compassion. I highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Hess and his staff are truly in the right field of work. They correctly diagnosed our dog when he'd been misdiagnosed by another clinic, helped us with treatment plans, and when it was finally time for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge, they were so kind and reassuring. No doubt in my mind where we plan on going in the future for our other pets. I highly recommend checking them out!

Fantastic doctor and staff, and having a clinic available on the weekends is desperately needed here. Dr Hess is extremely thorough, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, and their prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Hess and his team are amazing. They were all very lovely and kind while I was very nervous about out cat’s condition. They took their time examining our cat, who must have felt all the love since he was surprisingly chill during the entire visit. We didn’t feel rushed and Dr. Hess stayed in the room even after Erik’s exam was completed to go over potential scenarios and treatment. We really appreciated his calmness and bedside manners. The clinic itself is very welcoming too. Cannot praise them highly enough.

First time visiting this veterinarian office and I’m happy to have taken my kitten here. I’ve called 6 vet clinics in 1 day and this was the only one with any openings that were within a few days of when I called. I’m so pleased to have been able to come here. The staff I met were all nice, professional and comfortable with the animals. Dr. Hess is so down to earth and didn’t “force” any testing, vaccines or treatments that he did not think were necessary. He was very informative and gave his opinion while also allowing me to decide what is best for my Kitty..much appreciated!! He made this process so easy for me and my little feline Raiya! Dr. Hess and the tech Chloe had no issue showing me how to trim kitten nails and I’m so thankful. In my experience with vet visits and the bills that come with them, this clinic is fairly priced. The office is also beautiful and very clean! Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Narrowsburg Veterinary!!

Great experience. Vet was knowledgeable and yet very approachable. Explained things well without being preachy. And more importantly than telling me what my pet DID need, he told me what she DIDN'T need. He wasn't just trying to rack up the bill. We'll be coming here for all future vet needs, and I have to pass 3 closer vets to do it.

We were vacationing in the area and our older dog because suddenly ill and they were able to see her immediately. Dr. Hess was extremely thorough and make us feel comfortable. They were even kind enough to check in the next day on us and make our dog was feeling better . We are appreciative of how through and caring Dr and his team were to us and our pet .

I highly recommend Dr. Hess. He was my veterinarian for over 10 years in NJ. He was wonderful and compassionate with my timid English Springer Spaniel.
