We shop here and get subs here when we visit the area. It’s a great little store and the sub sandwiches from their deli are out of this world!! They use Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, the freshest veggies, and tasty hoagie rolls! Delicious!! (And when I say there’s a pound or more of meat on each sub, I am not lying.) The deli staff is very friendly and accommodating, too!!

This is great shop for you daily food needs. They also make the most delicious sandwichs. All of their meats and cheeses are cut as the make the sandwich. My take a minute or two longer but the quality is the best.

This place has gone completely downhill since reopening. New staff are so rude and disrespectful especially the new young black girl they have running the register complaining,cursing, and yelling about having to walk 8 feet to grab cigarettes for people. The other new staff walk around yelling and cursing to each other. This isn’t fair for the customers or the employees who actually care and are very nice. Not to mention a big chunk of their shelves are expired foods. You get an attitude when you order a few subs,literally nothing enjoyable about this so called “family place” anymore.

Fully stocked shelves but every time my boyfriend and I get sandwiches or deli meat here we end up with terrible stomach aches. We try back every few months to see if anything has changed. I’m pretty sure he now had food poisoning from the sandwich he bought here yesterday. This confirms, we’re two locals that won’t be returning. It’s sad considering we both grew up making weekly trips to our little local grocery store. Just gone down hill since it was sold the first time a few years back. Get it together guys. Stuff like this can seriously hurt people. If they keep it up their doors will be closed.

Great local grocery store, very well stocked. Accommodating staff always happy and smiling. Stopped by for a freshly toasted bagel with cream cheese surprised at the $1.50 low price. Wish I lived closer. Thank You for a overly stocked deli and great service.

If you come at the right time they discount hotbar food by like half so you can get chicken wings for ridiculous price, also they sell a coconut water in there with turmeric and it tastes really good sort of minty in a way. It's my preferred way of drinking coconut water now. It's in a can on its own weird spot not on the shelf. Also picante provolone is here. I also recommend the mint cake.

Produce is lacking freshness, Meat is lacking freshness it generally is discolored snacks and many items are very over priced vs many stores deli subs are good hot foods are good cold cuts are good salads at deli are iffy they have a old appearance use to be a great store now it is just ok.

Local people serving the community. Fair prices and paying fair wages. VERY popular deli made sandwiches and hot dishes at lunchtime. Only a few gluten free options. Fresh inviting produce section, helpful staff.

I'm a little biased I worked for the original owners for 16 years. The new owners did a really great remodel. Much of the same mom and pop feel has been preserved. They have a great deli and good meat selection decent beer selection and most of what you need if you want to avoid going to shoprite or Walmart. You'll pay a little more but sometimes it's worth it to get in and out somewhere smaller.

Stopped by while in town to visit. New owners seem to have kept the appeal the Peter's family tried to offer, especially to locals. Not as busy as I remember, but the subs from the deli are just a great!

New owners really did some great things with the place. It now longer looks outdated. It has new fresh items, local fruits and veggies and the deli is amazing. Great job! I'm so happy I can get my weekly sandwich & sub night back.

Very happy to have Peter's Market back!The new owners have done a very good job fixing the place up. The store seems well stocked, organized and clean.Sometimes you just don't feel like going into a bigger store like Shop Rite or Walmart and Peter's Market fills this need.

I bought chicken breast. Something was very off about the texture. It didn't smell bad and didn't make me sick but something was definately off.There is not much to the produce dept.They wanted $12 for a piece of cake about 4" by 4".Overall the place was clean and well stocked. Friendly employees.

We use to love going here for some really great subs and salads. The last few months its all changed. The quality of the food has seriously been lacking. Tonight our subs were soggy and not edible. Threw them away n couldn’t eat them.

I recently started working in Ellenville. Peter's Market is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Food is consistently great, employees are very friendly, the store is run well, and prices are great (they are a bit higher than some places, but that is because you get quality as a trade-off). I really like their large selection of lunches. I can grab amazing soup, a kale salad, chicken sandwich, and many other things to mix up my eating habits throughout the week.

This is the first time I've been in the store since it re-opened and it was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful. The produce was fresher than Shoprite or any of the local grocery stores as well as reasonably priced. I'll be going there from now on.

Been there about 10 times in the past year. First few times everything was fresh, last few times I’ve visited this store all the “fresh vegetables” where moldy the lettuce was all slimy and brown full of bugs and the whole chicken smelled so bad when I opened the package I threw it all away. Will never shop here again.

Prices are a little high but I like the natural food selection for the groceries. The deli is absolutely awful though. Slow and mess up the orders more than half the time. Even if they do get the order right they make sandwiches that just fall apart or cut unevenly, it's like they weren't trained at all or don't even try.

Asked the deli to make me a sandwich and it was great. Picked up a couple of good produce deals, good chocolate bars and my favorite, the local Bread Alone Bread, so happy they stock it!

Every time I call the line is always busy! I’m getting pretty annoyed with Petersmarket. I’m from Brooklyn and always get an issue when ordering for an inmate… Emma’s is the way.!
