Had my aquarium aqua scraped by Omar this guys the best friendly and extremely knowledgeable the tank came out beautiful I’m very happy. Aside from transforming the tank he gave me the knowledge on how to upkeep it. I would recommend this shop I don’t usually post reviews but I had too after my experiencePosted an update picture of my tank. Tank is doing awesome

Great store. They have a wide variety of tropical fish, salt water fish, reptiles, birds, and mamals.Their selection of fish equipment is very good. They also have aquarium tanks, water treatments, aquarium hardscape, lights, and filters.Overall great store and great staff.

I had a great experience at this store. They pick their corals carefully and have focus on aqua culture. Coral selection was great and I loved recognizing coral from all the videos I’ve watched on reef keeping. They have well informed staff and all their fishes looked healthy.Staff were all very nice and helpful. Any question I had was thoughtfully answered.I will certainly be back for more coral and fish. I love that I feel wanted as a customer and not like a nuisance only having a few months of experience in the hobby. 100% five star experience for me.The photo is the toadstool leather coral the very next day i bought it. It looks very healthy and happy.

Store has been thre for a long time and I have been a customer for a long time. I visited recently a couple of times. It seems the store is having some kind of financial struggle or is otherwise not managed well. More than half of the tanks are empty and are not clean. The store used to have a lot of specialty food and water conditioners for fish and now it does not. And also, the merchandise in the store is very limited now. It used to be much better. Not sure, maybe the ownership changed because the store appears in decline, not to mention very steep prices for fish.

I love this place! I've been coming here exclusively for over a decade for all my pet needs and have never encountered an issue. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly. They really care about their customers. As an example, they will tell me if a fish I want to buy is not doing well for some reason. One time someone asked if they sold cats and the staff directed them to local shelters. I love how ethical they are! I will continue coming here and nowhere else, nothing in the area compared to Pets Place IIThey specialize in fish, reptiles, birds, and small mammals. While they have dog and cat food, it's definitely not their specialty. But other than that, this is the place to go!

Absolutely amazing Pets Store love coming here, I come here at least 3 to 4 times a week! amazing selection of fish, animals and supplies! Staff is extremely friendly and smart, and owner is very courteous, kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable!

This shop has been around a very long time. And, in that time, it has steadily declined. Half the tanks are empty. Plant selection is virtually non-existent. Health of species is a mixed bag.

This Fish store has so many beautiful fish and every possible accessory that is out there to make your fish tank gorgeous. We went here to see if they had any new fish we can add to our tank and they had so many it was hard to choose.We needed some coral to add to the tank as well and they have so much to choose from, walls and walls of coral in every size, shape and color you want. The staff was extremely helpful and eager to assist us and directed us to what we were looking for.We will go back to this store for sure since building a tank is so addicting.. you just cant stop adding to it and places like this draw you back in to get more.

I love this place. I can always find the things I am looking for and they have a really large selection of very healthy looking fish, if you are looking for pet fish. We have adopted multiple hamsters from this location. It's a great place to shop for all of your pets' needs.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help.You're definitely paying for the service, the fish prices are exorbitant. $10 for harlequin rasboras, $17 for celestial pearl danios, $22 for glass cats currently

The only specialized pet store in Rockland. The owner Omar is very knowledgeable and an animal lover. I support this locally owned shop instead of the big box shops for all my aquarium needs. If it's not in stock, they will get it for you and you can't put a price on knowledge.

Nice place. Good stock of fish. Prices are ok, but probably a little higher than a few of the other non-chain petshops I've been to.Everyone inside is helpful, and genuinely nice.In general, they have a great selection of fish, but I fish they'd get more snakes in, maybe even some of the less common ones.

Great place for reptile/fish/small animal care. They sell a variety of foods for reptiles - crickets, dubia roaches, Superworms, Hornworms, feeder fish, etc. Their crickets are healthier and higher quality than those at PetSmart and gut-loaded for optimal reptile health. Sid and other staff members are knowledgeable and always really helpful. They have a great selection of snakes and reptiles to purchase, beautiful fish tanks, and small birds and rodents. All animals in the store look well taken care of and healthy. A great small business to support if you own an exotic pet or are looking for one.

One of the best supplies of fish I’ve personally ever seen, I truly don’t believe the hate review though there are barely anyI recently bought 6 good fish which are still in good condition and 2 inverts, a snail and a crayfish for around $95 which I very good compared to other pet stores I’ve been tooI highly recommend going here and giving it a shot

My family has supported this store for a long time. Quality of fish and selection is top notch. Staff have always taken care of their customers. However, over the last year, the prices here have become exorbitant compared to other comparable family owned quality stores in the tri-state area. Previously, I could have bought 1 freshwater angel for $10-13, I now have to spend $20-23 on the same fish.

Love this place. Friendly, helpful staff and always had what I was looking for. My daughter bought a bunny from here, she came happy and I could tell she was very well taken care of. There was very little bonding time and she was very comfortable around us from the start.

Staff is nice and I like coming here for supplies, but don’t buy fish here. Their prices are insane, i can buy my fish online and with shipping it comes out cheaper. Not sure why they’re pricing their fish so high. Not sure who’s actually buying them either.

Been here for over 20 years. The service is great, the people are knowledgeable. If you need to find something special Rob can get it for you. He special ordered me a 30 gallon breeder and a 60 gallon rimless tank. I have also known Sid and Omar for a long time and what makes this place special and stand out is their passion for the hobby . I have been to many pet shops but I keep coming back to this one. They have a huge selection of freshwater and salt water fish. I love looking at the zebra pleco. All the fish that I have purchase there have been healthy . I never had a sick fish before . I can go on and on about this place but I won’t. Come and see this place for yourself . You won’t be disappointed . Definitely 5 stars
