Coming to my home has always been a plus. Being there for them, and me is the most important trait in a veterinary, and Dr. Houri has it.

I first met Dr. Eitan when my old dog was nearing the end of her life. He treated her with great care and when it was time to let her go, he cane to our home and euthanized her with gentleness and compassion. That was two years ago and since then we became the caretakers of 13 cats that were born under our house. Dr Eitan has treated every one for basic care as well as one very serious injury that required ingenuity to repair a badly damaged paw. We highly recommend him🙂

Today we had to have our sweet 18 year old cat Emily put to rest. I looked up vets in the area and after reading dozens of reviews decided on Dr Houri. He was very responsive when I called this morning and said to bring her in at 10 am. He is a laid back, kind, knowledgeable vet and we knew we had come to the right place. He also examined our 20 year old cat who had vomited in the morning and gave him an anti nausea shot. Although we didn't need them he told us about all of the advanced equipment he has. He does surgery and, get this, he makes house calls when needed. Dr. Houri is the type of old fashioned country vet you just don't see any more. All in all we were very pleased with the way he treated our dear pets and will be happy to return to him when we need an exceptional vet.

My experience with Dr. Houri has been 5 star. My dog presented with some odd symptoms and it was difficult to nail down a diagnosis as she wasn’t responding great to normal treatment protocols. Dr. Houri was very attentive and methodical until he found a treatment that worked for her and was very focused on getting her feeling as good as possible and not just “good enough”. He is very responsive to phone calls, very willing to answer questions, made room in his schedule and personally called to check on my dog often. Highly recommend.

Eitan has been extremely supportive and attentive as we are figuring out the correct dosage of insulin our little dog Milo needs. I have felt as though I have my own private vet at times during this process. Eitan has also been treating our beagle Sunny for an ongoing ear infection. Dr Eitan came to my house to put down my family dog. First, he came within a half hour of speaking to me, ensuring my dog didn’t suffer all day. He was very compassionate and explained everything to me. During a very difficult time it was very comforting to have everything done in my home with limited stress to my dog.

Dr. Houri is great! He saw our dog Rocky on short notice and was a magician with him. Rocky is very uncomfortable around vets but Dr. Houri made the entire process so easy. Other vets told us that we would need to sedate Rocky before they could work with him but Dr. Houri did everything without sedation. His experience and expertise set him apart from many other vets that we’ve seen. He is patient, kind and really cares about animals. He also isn’t pushy and does a great job providing and explaining all the information necessary for you to make your own educated decision. We will definitely use Dr. Houri for all of our veterinary needs going forward!

This vet came recommended by an acquaintance and after seeing all the five-star reviews I decided to take my little Boston terrier rescue, Pepper to see him. This is a prime case of do not believe what you read and hear. This vet guilted me, frightened me and ultimately bullied me and charged me almost $1,000 for a simple checkup, a generic heartworm medication that I have never seen before, a 1-year rabies shot, a 1-year distemper and a lyme that I had no intention of getting until he frightened me so badly that I said yes. He refused to give me an itemized bill until after he did all of the procedures. He then told me that the extra shots for lyme required boosters but it was included in the price but that I would need to come back in 2 weeks. Although I did not want to because I already felt like I was taken advantage of, he said the medication would not work without a booster so I was forced to go. He charged me another $260 on top of the original $750 for the first visit. Then he lied and said he never said it and that I should go look at my receipt. He also told me after the fact that I had to pay in cash if I didn't want to pay a 6% fee on top of the bill. I have had dogs as an adult for 40 years. I have never had such a traumatizing experience where I felt so violated by a veterinarian. It is not just about the money, he did not have water, he did not have treats, and he did not check for certain things that a another vet definitely would have. Feel free to contact me for details about how I was treated by this vet. I would be happy to save anybody this amount of negativity and trauma. Anyone that loves their pet, please do not go to this man.

Dr Eitan is a wonderful caring person and vet. After meeting my golden retriever for the first time, he quickly identified my dogs issues and started treatment immediately. He even did research on my dog’s health issue and gave me a resource to go further as I was relocating to another state. He also offered to continue treating my dog remotely. I can’t thank him enough for giving my dog such wonderful care even though just meeting him and our limited time. I highly recommend him!!

My experience with Dr. Houri was excellent! His name was given to me by my vet when I called for them to do a house call to Euthanize my very old Shepherd and was told that they wouldn’t be able to make it out because the pandemic had hit there office. I called and left a message for Dr. Houri who got back to me right away. He was very understanding and empathetic of the situation. He made arrangements to come the next day. When he got to our home the next day with his vet tech who was also very professional and kind, they made the process very seamless and kind to both my dog, my husband and I and the rest of our fur family. Dr. Houri treated our beloved elderly cat on New Year’s Eve - she had suddenly become very ill while we were staying in the area. Not only was he able to fit her in last minute and diagnose / treat the core issue, he followed up with us on New Year’s Day to discuss bloodwork and even arrange for additional medication to help her feel better. And he called after the holiday weekend to see how she was doing at home so that we could coordinate follow-ups locally. His care, attention and professionalism is above and beyond - I only wish we lived in the area so we could make him our regular veterinarian!

Dr Houri cares immensely about our animals. He was able to fix multiple issues on my kitten that I had just adopted and provided me with clear information on how to treat her eye problems. Unlike with other veterinarians or animal hospitals, I felt like I was truly a part of bringing back my animals health and not just helpless in a situation.He also took time to research a flea medication for her, and even took measures to make sure my other two cats where healthy.Thankyou!

Dr. Houri has been taking care of my dogs for years. When my last dog became ill he came to our house multiple times to take care of her. She had liver cancer and the day she passed he even came to our house and helped us bury her. We now have a new girl and he has helped us with her tremendously! When we made an appointment for her to get fixed he offered to pick her up and drop her off at our house due to the fact that my fiancé and I were both studying and working. What an incredible soul who came to us to help our 9 year old ferret move on in our home. The doctor was so compassionate and we could never have asked for anyone better to help us make our ferret Chiffer comfortable to be able to help him over the Rainbow Bridge in his own home. Dr Houri saved us a trip to the animal hospital. We have female/male JRT and our female Rosie became sick. She had been experiencing several symptoms including lethargy and vomiting. I found his information on Google and gave him a call. He is off on Saturday however he still reached out late that evening. Kept in contact with him early morning Sunday and he made it to our house within the next 2 hours by 10am.He examined our puppy, Rosie and made sure to take his time while doing so he asked several questions regarding her health. He was so gentle with our puppy.He even took the weight of our other JRT.He diagnosed Rosie and gave her a shot to make sure she didn’t keep on vomiting. My dog and I were attacked by a dog. So I had to take him to the vet and every vet I called want almost 200 just to get in. So when I was losing hope. A friend gave me Eitan. I called and he was able to look at Harley same day.he was so nice and treated Harley like it was his own dog. I mean my dog didn't even cry or look at me as he took Harley in with him. He came and even ask how I was doing. He gave meds told me to clean it, then ever three days asked me to send him a picture. He is now Harley's vet. He was not expensive and very reasonable. My Parents Dog Romeo was very sick. Since he always was nervous going to the Vet they decided to do an at home euthanasia. the Doctor came and did it so that he didn't suffer and died quickly. Even though this was very painful for them they appreciated the way it was done. Romeo was able to go quickly and painlessly.
