Had a wonderful experience here and definitely recommend a stop here. I'm not gluten free, but loved it. We sampled the delicious baked goods, had some fabulous coffee, but the best part was the time we spent chatting with Suzea. She is so interesting, passionate about her business and it shows in her enthusiasm and the quality of the food. Definitely go here and take some treats home with you! This is a wonderful place!

Loved this place and highly recommend it. I'm not gluten free, but enjoyed everything I tried and bought some fabulous cookies to take home. Had the cream coffee which was awesome. Suzea is so friendly and spent time talking with us about the bakery and coffee. Such an interesting person! If I lived anywhere close I'd be there all the time. Definitely give this place a try!!Dietary restrictions: It's gluten free, so if you are, this is your place. I'm not and found the food to be delicious!

Although I am not in need of gluten-free food I stopped and I'm so glad I did. The owner was so friendly as well as the customers. A real positive energy! The food was delicious! I had a cheese bagel sandwich with egg and bacon. My latte was perfect and just the way I asked, strong. The owner was training a new employee and was so kind and positive to her, other bosses should take lessons from her.

Loved our breakfast at Suzea’s this morning! The owner was so warm and welcoming. ❤️ My husband got a cheese bagel with an omlette while I got a vegan bagel with vegan hot chocolate. Thank you for accommodating all my requests! 💕 We also got the world’s yummiest apple pie… it has the most soft and crumbly crust with homegrown cooked apples in the center. Everything is gluten free yet tastes great! 👌 If you are in the area, give it a try.P.S. We went back the next day and got us more bagels to carry home… cookies too!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options and vegan options!

(Vegan review) I am a gluten-free vegan and I was looking for something to munch on for a late breakfast, I asked the head woman in charge if she had any vegan options. She so very kindly asked me what I liked and came up with a vegan bagel with lettuce, tomato, and avocado. It was absolutely delicious! Her ingredients were very fresh and her demeanor was sweet. I felt the love that she put into making my little breakfast. We had wonderful conversation about food and health and I felt welcome as well as fed. Absolute gem.

To say I am absolutely in love with this place is not doing this lovely place enough justice! I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and it has so hard to find food that I can stand to eat let alone enjoy eating. After explaining this to the shop owner, she asked me what I missed most... Bread, I miss bread. I have tried so many, and they all taste like a mouth sand. She said, "Come with me and showed me bagels, breads, dinner rolls, etc. She then made me the absolute best sandwich I have ever had!! We left with a cooler (she even gave us a ice pack for our cooler) full. This morning I tried one of the bagels, it was so good I nearly cried. Thank you Suzea for giving me back something I can ENJOY eating! We will absolutely be back

Found this gem on the Find Me Gluten Free app. My 5 year old daughter and are gluten free and to find places that are completely gluten free are few and far between. The unadulterated joy on my daughter's face to not have to worry was worth the hour and a half drive. The food was absolutely delicious and the passion and knowledge of the owner is wonderful. We took home a bunch of goodies and cannot wait to come back.

Better than NYC gluten-free goodies, and affordable! Hands down the best gluten-free bread and sweet pastries and cookies I’ve ever had.I went in for a sandwich and left with bread, bagels, cookies, and other sweet treats. I wish they shipped! I’m addicted to their old fashioned gingerbread cookies.Next time I’m upstate I’m buying everything.

Full disclosure, I work at Suzea's. I also eat at Suzea's because I know exactly what's in the food. Take this GF ramen...best quality smoked pork tenderloin, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked noodles in a savory broth. Best part? The house made tequila onion garnish. The food is beautiful, it's TASTY, it's made with real ingredients, and it's hand-down the best gluten free food you can get **anywhere.** I'm so proud of the food we make here. And as someone who has a million food issues that make eating out hard, I love that Suzea's owner (my boss) works with our customers to make sure they have food that fills them up and makes their bodies feel good.Vegetarian options: Suzea's has lacto-ova vegetarian options, and is willing to work with customers to meet their needs.Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten-free facility with staff that are experienced in handling customers' allergies and sensitivities. Nuts are used on the premises, however, so if one has a SEVERE nut allergy, it may be best to stay outside.Parking: Free parking lot with several unreserved spaces. Extensive free street parking nearby.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and treated like they're special. Bring coloring books, though, if you're going to eat in.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp at the front door with accessible storefront.

Food was good. Baking was great! The owner is very, very nice and accommodating. I've noticed some reviews mentioning her being rude to employees. From what I saw, she's a firm boss but also a good boss to be around. She was friendly with her staff, chatting away while instructing her new employees what to do. I would definitely go back.

Always delicious and you must get the Nanaimo bars they are divine and the cheese bagels are amazing! They currently require masks so make sure you have one or they should have one available for you. The owner is very sweet and the lady that helps her is very nice too. The newer older lady not so much. She was helpful but she showed us everything in the freezer then walked away so we grabbed only what we wanted and she came back and said we couldn't grab anything out of the freezer and if we could read the sign which was a little rude. We sanitized our hands and wore masks I think we should be able to grab what we want and because of that I didn't get everything I wanted from the freezer. Other than today it has always been a great experience! They also have lunch options to dine in!Features: Masks

Gluten-free bakeries are hard to find and this wonderful gem in downtown Mt.Morris is worth the drive. The facade is striking, off street parking makes for an easy entrance. Inside you will find several small tables with chairs to enjoy their baked goods, coffee/espresso drinks are offered to accompany. I tried the English muffin, tuxedo cookie and snickerdoodle. Each were delicately delicious, with a light texture and weight, perfect recipes to rival any gluten-free bakery in a large city. Visit this bakery even if you're not gluten-free. It is an amazing find, what an addition to the the regions good scene !

I'll say the same thing about "gluten free" that I say about "vegan/vegetarian" dishes - if it tastes good, I don't care what you call it.Here it just plain tastes great - and I'll always appreciate great food. stop here whenever life takes me through Mt. Morris - and I never feel like I'm missing out on flavor or value. If your group includes people with dietary restrictions - you won't be missing out on anything either!Every time I stop here I get something different and it's always been a wonderfully delicious experience! Tequila onions (on a waffle sandwich) was my latest "food-gasm" (the onions were DEEPLY caramelized, one of my favorite ways to have them on a sandwich) - paired below with a Mango Smoothie!

Amazing find for gluten free baked goods! We stumbled upon Suzea's Gluten Free Cafe' while visiting the area. What a gem of a find! We ordered sweet baked goodies as well as a loaf of her incredible Rye bread; ALL GLUTEN FREE and delicious! It's been years since I've enjoyed rye bread toast and I was a bit skeptical. It was amazing! I kept it in the freezer and pulled out what I wanted and put it straight in the toaster. Turned out perfect. I only wish we lived closer, I would be a regular customer, for sure!

It saddens me to write this review as Suzea’s has great GF food, but I want to warn others as I do not want what happened to me to happen to anyone else.I bought a small loaf of bread recently. I kept it in my freezer as advised. My boyfriend and I had two slices of PB toast and coffee for breakfast (this is the ONLY thing we had, so we know that it is the bread that made us sick) and within an hour we were both HORRIBLY and violently ill. We had food poisoning for days and had to miss work due to this. When we went to throw the bread away, we discovered the entire bottom of the loaf had black mold all over it.The owner advised us to keep the bread in the freezer, which we did. So we can’t believe that this occurred in such a short period of time, considering we have frozen GF bread from Aldi and Wegmans in our freezer for way longer periods of time.To make a long story short….DO NOT BUY THE BREAD.

We had the wonderful opportunity to stop by here for lunch on our way down south. I had marked this as a possible place to check out prior to our trip and I'm glad we did. Do yourself a favor and drop by if you're in the area. Heads up, dishes are typically made to order, so budget some time ahead.Dietary restrictions: 100% Gluten free.Parking: Shares a parking lot with a court house.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp upfront.

The gf food and bakery is excellent. However the owner needs to go to a class on how to be an effective manager to her employees. We could hear all her negative comments to the young employees. You can get a more positive return from an employee by not embracing them in front of the customers telling us their mistakes for the day. We felt uncomfortable for our entire meal hearing her scolding them very negatively. Was surprised they allowed a dog in eating area but you have to mask.

Suzea’s Is truly an amazing place! The staff were helpful and attentive, the service was lightning fast, and the food was extremely good. Everything was completely gluten free. Even if you happen to have celiac, this is a great place to go with absolutely 0 cross-contamination. Their new ginger muffin was really good and nutritious! I barely believed it was gluten free! It was AMAZING, and I would totally recommend it. I also really enjoyed their hot chocolate. It was all-natural and absolutely delicious! I loved my visit and will definitely make sure to come back the next time I visit New York.

Owner is beyond rude to staff in front of customers (and for no reason other than trying to appear managerial). Soup and sammie was so blah that I didn't eat more than a couple bites. Bread was mealy and bland and soup was barely warm. IDK how its possible to mess up grilled cheese and soup special of the day, but she did. Also bought a few items to try at home and they were all bland or so over sugared they were basically candy. Will never go back!

We went there for breakfast, GREAT SERVICE, casual atmosphere and the food was plentiful, lots of choices, and DELICIOUS! The baked good are beyond AWESOME. I tried just about one of everything and can't wait to get back and get some more. They have a coffee called "Coffee Cream" that I need to have again. Trying to figure out how to get back there for that and of course all the delicious baked goods. Best of all, my stomach was happy with me afterward because ALL of it was GLUTEN FREE.TO BEST ENJOY, You should go for breakfast, brunch, or lunch and sit down and spend some time. However; you can call ahead and order-to-go. When you go in and pick up what you ordered, expect to grab a cupcake, Almond cookie, or hand pie for the road. Resistance is futile. Wished they were open Sundays though so I could go for that coffee!

We were finally able to try out this spectacular cafe. With myself being celiac and my husband not we were interested in the quality and selection. We were both not disappointed. Everything was prepared fresh and we even bought some items from the freezer selection and they were top notch! Highly recommend quiche and cheese bagels. The owner has a great personality and was able to answer any questions we had. Will definitely stop again.

I went to pick up some gluten free baked goods for one of my guests this week and she loved the muffins, raspberry bars and pecan bars from Suzea's. She raved about how delicious they were. In fact, she refused to share them with her partner. Thanks so much. Blue Rose Bed and Breakfast

food was good... experience not so much. The owner/manager treated staff very poorly. When our waitress had to double check info on a soup, she was publicly berated for forgetting. I ordered a dessert for myself, and the owner again publicly reprimanded the waitress because she had not brought over additional spoons for those dining with me. I intended to eat the dessert by myself and did. Never have I ever experienced anything like this; it was like being on the show "What Would You Do." I will not be supporting a business that treats their employees this way.

Suzea’s is a great little gluten free cafe! I have celiac so finding a dedicated gluten free restaurant is very rare. Suzea is also a celiac, and we had a great conversation about how she started her place. I highly recommend the steak, onion, and cheese waffle sandwich! The waffles are sooo good. Thanks, Suzea, for a great experience!
