Brian has great service and went absolutely out of his way to obtain red slate to do a historic restoration in our 1800s cabin. His attention to detail and abundance of knowledge helped us restore our chimney to working condition while still best preserving its original state. Would recommend and will be a returning customer for sweeping maintenance.

Brian came by today to give our home a thorough inspection to help us feel assured for a safe winter and we couldn’t be happier. His communication is excellent, rates are competitive and the value of our experience with him is priceless. He answered every question and concern we had with our system honestly and thoroughly. We had to reschedule several times over the course of the week because our closing date on our new home kept changing - Brian was more than happy to accommodate our uncertain schedule and came to see us on a Saturday afternoon when it was most convenient for us. Highly recommended. I'm pretty far from this business, and they were able to squeeze in an appointment to look into an issue I'm having during the busiest time of the year. Due to concerns about the installation he couldn't do a cleaning or inspection, but provided a ton of options and advice on how to deal with the issue. Was super polite and professional, and refused payment because he couldn't do the work. Wouldn't even take $20 for driving all the way out here. This level of integrity is unmatched and shows with certainty that this business can be trusted to put their customers' best interests over making a profit.

Brian recently checked our chimney after a bad experience last yr. w/ some exchange visitors. We obviously don't know what we're doing & hadn't provided good instructions. He assured us everything was just fine by immediately flashlighting the chimney; inspecting it while offering clear & precise instructions/advice. Additionally he repeated it several times so I could write it down. Never condescending & chock-full of professional tips, he was terrific. He knows carpentry & stone masonry too; a huge bonus. Will def. call him in the future. P.S. Love his mohawk, he's the real deal!

Our first job with Brian we asked him to repair an existing chimney at our church. He ended up replacing it with inferior materials that would not pass inspection. Then had to replace it again with correct materials. Fortunately he did replace the incorrect chimney without charging more.Not sure why we hired him again, but we had him come to clean a clogged chimney for our church's sanctuary. He charge $425 and said the chimney was cleaned out. It wasn't. Upon returning he did not bring proper equipment to do the job that he knew needed to be done. He brought 16' cleaning rods for a 40' chimney. Consequently, we had to hire a different company to do the job properly.We have learned our lesson the hard way.Services: Chimney repair & restoration, Chimney cleaning

I called Adirondack Clean Sweep Chimney and they we're at my house within days. We just purchased the home and need to have the fireplace evaluated especially since we plan on implementing short term rentals. Brian McCormack communicated with me right away to set up a appointment. He showed up on time, was very professional, did a complete evaluation and cleaning.
