I always love shopping at Dollar General. They have alot of great sales and deals going on all the time, between soda deals and back to school items. The workers are all very nice.

I just went here yesterday. One of the cashiers, a heavyset black woman, refused my mother of wanting to pay cash first and the rest charged to her credit card due to her not having much in her bank account because we’re a poor white family. After my mom telling her she only had $30 in bank, She lied about saying that she’d only charge $23 dollars to her bank and the rest in cash and instead charged the full amount of $48 (nearly $50) to her bank account which lead to my moms bank account bouncing!! To which we had to ask for help from a relative to fix the issue. I’ve also purchased MONTH OLD EXPIRED FOOD AND BEVERAGES (back from the first week of November)!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I agree with the previous comments about people being rude or racist here. Just go down the road and head to Tops or Walmart.

I've been a customer of this store since they opened many years ago. On August 14th, 2019 I visited the store at approximately 8:30pm.I wish I had caught the names of the two employees that were working. The gentleman was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendlythat I remember thinking this is the nicest guy they ever had working for this store. He really seemed to enjoy his job too. His fellow female employee was very friendly and courteous and seemed knowledgeable about her position. I wish we had more employees like these two working for Dollar General. They are hard to come by.

Store is generally a bit messy with alot of the isles blocked with stocking carts and other things. Staff is wonderful friendly and helpful. Too bad they don't schedule enough people at a time. I've been in here when they only have one person to work the whole store. Store in Millport is better and just a few miles down the road..

I am very disappointed.... I purchased a defective phone and I drove half an hour back to this store to return it and Heather gave me such an attitude and told me her kid was more important than her job and told me she couldnt refund me then told me to leave. I got scammed on a broken phone and I can't even get my hard earned money spent back or even on a gift card, what kind of buisness is this? This woman should be fired on the spot. She was not professional and has poor customer service skills and i will never ever shop here ever again.. business lost

This store has saved the day more than one time in the few months I've been in this town. We go here no lie on a daily basis if not two times a day. I came to think this is my second home haha. But I'm so glad that this is here. It's really good.

Quick in and out but the store is so small it is always hard to get around with the customers and the stuff in the aisles the staff are trying to shelve. They seem to have a high turnover of staff though they are usually very helpful.

The store is very dirty and cluttered. I will never walk into the restroom there ever again. There's items all over the place where they don't belong. The staff is not very helpful. They are often out of items. I choose to drive farther out of my way to either Beaver Dams or Pine valley Dollar general stores even though the montour falls store is very close to my house.

The shelves are always stocked, plus the store is clean and organized. Most importantly; every employee at this particular store is pleasant and will go above and beyond to help a customer. My go-to.

Good store in Montour Falls but it doesn't have six packs of soda anymore like Pepsi, etcAlso needs more 10 for $10 things like pancake mix, syrup etc.and ice cream toppings like candy caramel.

Becarefull pulling in to the first parking lot entrance, there are potholes everywhere. I usually use the entrance closer to the gas pumps and gym. The staff is really friendly but they are undermanned so you may have to wait a minute or two. The cashiers are also stock in between rushes of customers. Prices are solid. When it comes to none food or basic household items you get what you pay for. I have the App with the perks card so i save even more money. You can use regular coupons also.

I think it should be called fifteen dollar generalDollar Tree Stores everything is a dollar at Dollar General you'd be hard pressed to find anything for a dollar. the next to the last. time I went there the young girl was. nice and very helpful. There was a. young guy in there this time and he never said a. word to me.

I would suggest going a few minutes up the road to the Wal-Mart. The staff is racist and will follow you around the store if you are poor or black or both.

Drop in almost everyday before work but as of late its a drama fest and ill take my money elsewhere that doesn't come with people complaining and or starting things!! Id rather take a chance at getting ripped off at the citgo from the foreigners!!!

The place is a mess and half the time their machine is not working properly when I go to check out. The employees, for the most part, do the best they can under the circumstances.

They couldn't give me a receipt so I could check to see what coupons didn't get scanned. My bill was higher than it should have been.Can't return any of the merchandise with out the receipt.Don't know what to do😞

Nice remodeling of the store. Improved cooler section for more milk (yay!)
