Great place! Small menu done very well! Even though the bar was mostly full and three tables occupied by several couples, the young woman working, managed being, hostess, serving staff, bartender and bus staff. Hopefully, they keep her. She's an asset. I wouldn't be surprised if she cooked some of the food too!But the burger was great, fries crispy, wings not overdone and drinks mixed well. What more could you want.

We are always impressed. We confidently invite our friends; business colleagues for meetings…. Wine is local and fresh, local beer choices excellent. Impressive stills. The plates are fresh crafted and awesome in appearance, flavors, temperature, just pretty darn completely happy. Oh and the people… everyone, Andrew & team, on game and just the best.Kid-friendliness: Relaxed environment for children to enjoy.

Just discovered this new tavern and decided to stop in for dinner and a drink. Their local and regional craft beer offerings are very impressive! The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. We had their flatbread pizza and they were very good and the burgers being served around us looked wonderful. We are definitely looking forward to returning soon. (Service was a little slow as it appeared they didn't have sufficient staff at the time.)

The service was prompt and interested in how our experience going. The owner spoke with us about other local experiences. The food was amazing! The Clint Eastwood and Buffalo chicken salad we hands down the best we’ve had. Beer selection was on point and complete as they R&D offerings into the future. Fun and real folk here. We are locals to Watkins Glen and anytime out of town folk come in to visit us we bring them here. The spinach and cashew salad is MY FAVORITE. But really, everything food wise is perfect and the beer selection is HUGEEE . 5 star service, food, atmosphere

My wife and I are not drinkers. After checking the menu, we decided to visit and give the food a try. The interior is well laid out with a small bar, plenty of tables, nice background music, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms.We had a burger, fries, and a seafood basket. Everything was excellent.We ate indoors, but they did have outdoor seating. Easy parking.

Althea’s Finger Lakes Tavern is my go-to restaurant and tavern in the Finger Lakes. The food is delicious and the service is beyond friendly. On your first visit you will be treated like and feel like family. Upon your second visit you will be family. Whether you order off the varied menu or enjoy Andrew and Rich’s specials over the weekend you will not be disappointed- everything is high-quality. I’ve had everything on the menu and they never have a miss. I highly recommend Althea’s as someone who has traveled the world on business and for pleasure. I have hosted friends at Althea’s and they always ask that we go back the next time we get together.

Damn fine Martini, says the husband, and I say - quite excellent margarita. We have thoroughly enjoyed the juicy burgers, beer soaked brats and on top of that, the service is very kind and attentive. Andrew is absolutely the best and he owns Althea's.

Love this place and the owner! Great place to grab a beer, eat some fantastic food, and spend time with your friends and family. If they have the fried chicken waffle BLT, GET IT. Highly recommend!Parking: It's nice.
