Headed over to the Walmart in Monticello, NY on Thurs morning. While looking around we hear Xmas music getting louder. Me thinking it's n obnoxious customer. Yes I was being a Grinch (no pun intended.) Then it happened. The "Real" Grinch leading a parade. My mood definitely changed thnk to the associates. The Manager put together an amazing fun way for them and even us shoppers to start our morning. I hope th video and pictures uploaded. I wanted to include all associates who partisapated.

Came for an online purchase pickup with my spouse who unfortunately is unable to help me load the groceries. Tony D. and another young man brought them out and there was alot of items. Tony seeing the situation would not allow me to load the items by myself he insisted and said politey please dont ever be afraid to ask them for help thats what im here for. I couldnt be more thankful to Tony D. thank you so much and young man keep up the great customer service and incredible hospitality. To his manager you've got a special young man on your team I hope that you know this and keep him in mind for moving up the corporate ladder. One last comment to Tony D. you will go far in whatever endeavor you choose. Best of luck on your journey to success your parents have been great role models.The Thomas's.

The reason for only 4 instead of 5 star rating was because of the fact that the people who were dedicated to running the (services of self check-out aisles were all just as 'lost') as they were all attempting to make an effort in helping out with the "customer's"...The Only Problem I had with this was that if Good Ol' Sam Walton would have been a witness to these atrocities "He" 'I' believe would have sent them to better training and givin' them 1 more chance and then sadly that would have been it see ya' later here's your severance and enjoy your life 😊, and then coincidentally we're all still in limbo with the current plan for the status quo were in fact that I've witnessed first hand workers who had gotten away with using a ser-name and then had gotten pissed about something very minor and then by chance done something criminal and gotten caught then the next month or for the very bold the next week and or 3 day's after shaving and a haircut and dye "Yet that idiot still had the same face" and coincidentally By a good full-scale month "the-camera's/security" caught up with em' and now he is basically banned from any and all Walmart stores for life_and then I really cut him off as a friend of course because he basically had the idea that the whole world was his oyster to crack open and then pick at any time he'd please,and as far as Myself can go I would like to state that I was a cart-boy in Monsey Rockland County N.Y. and then I was bumped to bagger then cashier for only 2 weeks and sadly I had lost the job due to the fact that the people who organized 90% of my groups work details were all involved in some sort of scam to get a good deal of products that weren't "closely secured" out of the shipping system before sunset and then "I" really separated from the pack and then it was "Myself who had become the outcast" because I wouldn't steal"...and Yet I was "Let Go" as it's proffered to say in Layman's terms...Haa! Nope I was just interrupted repeatedly and then FİRED from my post just about when I was going to be moving up Ha! 🤣

They have the worst service I have ever seen, I paid for a membership and on 6 occasions my online order was canceled and I had to go to the store, even though I had that membership, and when I tried to contact the store, they never respond and They always transfer me to the wrong person, I DO NOT RECOMMEND PAYING FOR THE MEMBERSHIP AT ALL ON WALMART MONTICELLO

I purchased six .79 cent pies and went to self check out nearest to old lady with glasses you know the one who would ask to see your receipt. Another employee was right in front of me saying good morning as I was scanning all items and paid with credit card. I walked about six steps to leave and bam old lady with glasses asked me for my receipt and I was angered and had to drop them on the floor to show her my receipt and then I grabbed them and accidentally crushed and smooshed the pies in anger and returned them for a refund. What a waste of time and very unprofessionalism in this store. Fd UP. I should have kept walking and replied call the police and try to have me arrested because I paid for my items. No returning to this store. Never have this problem in middletown or Matadors PA.

The store literally has everything you need. I love the pick up service they have. I shop online for my groceries and a cheerful associate would load my purchase in my car. Who could ask for anything more 😀. They do all the walking for me. I’m a happy camper.

I work for one of the biggest if not the biggest communication companies in the world and as a perk, from time to time they give their employees gift cards to Walmart and other companies.. This has been going on for longest time and all of a sudden I go to Monticello Walmart and they tell me they are not accepting third party gift cards. A week before I bought a new television for about $700 using the same kind of gift cards.. I have been shopping here at this walmart for over 10 years and all of a sudden this is an issue. I spoke with a manager and it was a waste of time.. my co-workers advised me that they are not having any issues at any other Walmart when using the gift cards.. it's a shame.that the people in Monticello cannot or are not doing their jobs correctly.. it very frustrating!!!

Pretty decent Walmart. It's not crowded early, the employees are very friendly and helpful, and the store is generally neat and clean. Plus, it doesn't have the clown show that the Middletown store often has.

This message to the manager, Imran. My father, Georgios, is a twenty year customer at this Walmart location. One day, after he had checked out and purchased his groceries, he was stopped by an older woman, who checked his receipt, but due to age, cannot see what is written on the receipt and accused him of stealing. This really upset him.

Rude employees. Had to go to customer service to complete my order because self checkout was not ringing up the coupon. No issues with customer service and she was the only friendly person we came encounter with.Just a very miserable environment

Lately, the shelves have been empty and are not being restocked as far as I can tell. Walmart is way better in the winter because it's a hit mess in the summer.

Usually very clean during the off-summer season. Staff is quite accommodating even though they are overrun with patrons during the summer months.

They have pretty much everything you might need at decent prices. The additional self-checkout counters make the whole process much faster. The biggest drawback is how they make you feel like a thief by demanding to look at your receipt before you exit. If they're so worried about someone not paying for an item, maybe they should hire more help to keep an eye out. It's not a very comforting feeling to have to prove you didn't steal anything. I understand why they do it, I just don't appreciate how they do it. It's very insulting to their honest and frequent customers.

Store is very clean, I really appreciate that I was able to do my shopping here while on the road and the manager was very generous in allowing me to stay over night in their parking lot. I really appreciate this with a shortage of places where an OTR driver can stay this ment the world and of course I did my shopping here too. Thank you Walmart team.

One stop shop I love coming to wal-mart even to just walk around they have great displays and locally you see people you havnt seen and all together just a great place to shop good nail/hair salon are at this location as well come in and enjoy

Overall experience was great took quite a while to get what I needed done but once again Coach Will was phenomenal, always putting the customer first and never too busy to lend a hand. It always cheers me up to see him there because of his willingness to help a customer. I'm sure I can't be the only one that appreciates him. Hopefully management realizes what an asset they have in him...

Brendon near sports was very rude and lied about the price on balls saying a 45 dollar ball was 5 I told my young son that he could get it but when we got to the register I had to deny him he was very sad I hope your happy that you ruined a young boys day!!!!!!!

I explained to her it was for my mom's birthday and asked her to do something pretty.She did amazing. I am in love with her work.Thanks for your great effort.💖

How i arrive at 5pm to the auto care department, their are no cars in the bays and they tell me "they are closing early today for oil changes." Huh!! because they were short staffed. but we are staying open until 7pm for those who have tire appointments. An oil change takes 15 minutes at best

The best part about this experience was KT! She’s the only worker at the auto center desk and it sucks to watch her get so overwhelmed due to lack of help. They have the young lady running all around the place that’s not cool at all. Stood there while the managers told her it’s her job treat employees better man they run your store
