Terrible customer service. Not professional at all. No one wants to take responsibility for mistakes on their end. They don’t care. Just telling people to call corporate. So here, calling corporate to make an official complaint for continuously providing very bad customer service on numerous visits. Do your job Walgreens.

An update to my review from 6 months ago. Totally new management, it's like night and day. Alex, the manager has done an outstanding job at revamping the store. He's hired a friendly, helpful and courteous crew. The shelves are well stocked and it's a pleasure to go there now. Alex , Donovan, Wainsworth, and the rest are doing a great job.

I had to transfer a prescription from NYC to Monticello store. There was a problem with the phone in NYC pharmacy but a young man named Ryan figured out a way around it and was able to give me my much needed med. So if you see Ryan working while you're there, he's a problem solver for sure and it made my day. The others were responsive so I'm not saying anything negative about anyone there but Ryan is the superstar in that pharmacy, trust me.

Since changing over to Walgreens the pharmacy is the absolute worst!!! I went to drop off an rx for my dog and waited over 2 hours! The pharmacist was arrogant and rude and the poor young man behind the counter was getting yelled at by every person in line! Over the course of 2 hours, the line was down an aisle and several people left. People complaining that theres no staff, their computers are always ‘down’ and heard a few people say that they’ve had to come back several times and wait for over a half hour just on the line alone. I ended up leaving w out my dogs meds and i will never use this pharmacy again, and will no longer be sending clients there.

Came to this pharmacy to pick up medication for my elderly patient and was greeted by the drive thru being closed all three days, when I came inside the medicine they told me would be done that day was still not ready. Going on day 3 now and the drive thru is still closed, there’s a big line going down the middle of aisle 8, and the store manager refuses to open the drive thru and to address the issues of why this pharmacy is poorly ran!

Extremely disappointed with this Pharmacy. I purchase a lot of things at Rite Aid. I'm generally pleased with the store but the pharmacy department is a real problem . 3 times in one year my prescriptions have been a problem. Months ago I was supposed to get 200 glucose test strips for my copay and found 100 in the bag they did correct my issue so I went back. Last month they tried to charge me around about $70 too much for my prescription refill which I had gotten there before today they tried to charge me over $120 for a $65 prescription. I'm done with the pharmacy I'm done with the rudeness I can understand during the high season when there's a lot of stress and long lines. But three times in a few months is totally unacceptable

I don't about the pharmacy, but why people would shop here I'll never know. The only reason I did was as a Doordash driver for other people. Some of the products I have to purchase for people are not familiar to me such as women's hair dye, certain vitamins etc. I went up front to ask where a certain product was and the girl seemed annoyed. She told me go look around, it's back there.They seem to be aimlessly walking around in there own world. Like I said why anybody would shop there is beyond me. The prices are 3 times more expensive than anywhere else.

Tried to use them to get the Shingrix vaccine, but they were out. Pharmacist promised to call when the got more in, but didn't. When we heard from a friend who walked in and got the shot, we called to find out if they had any other doses available. First 5 times we called, no one answered and went back to 1st voicemail menu. Last call, we were put on hold for 30 minutes. When someone picked up, they said we had to speak with the pharmacy. We told them about the phone problem, and demanded that we speak with the store manager.We were then placed on hold again for another 6 minutes. My wife called Walmart instead and spoke to a responsive person right away who scheduled her for the shot.Needless to say, we won't be using Rite Aid for anything anymore.

*exit* to be fair, the pharmacist has been replaced. I think they are down to 30 days now. Pharmacist makes patients wait 31 days for controlled prescriptions. Acknowledges running all patients out of medicine ON PURPOSE! laughs at you if you argue. Terrible.

This is the worst Walgreens that I have ever shopped at throughout the country. As I live in the area I have given this store multiple chances. However on virtually occasion I found the staff unhelpful, rude and lazy. This store got a facelift after Walgreens took it over from RiteAid but it is sliding downhill quickly. The shelves are routinely not well stocked particularly of items on sale. prices are not correctly marked. The pharmacist so screwed up my prescription after an unbelievably long wait that I know have any prescriptions filled at CVS. Hey Walgreens corporate does anyone read the google reviews - they all had a really poor shopping experience. Why don’t you take any corrective action?

The handling of prior authorizations needs improvement. During one phone call I was told several different pieces of information that were antagonistic. From one moment to another details regarding a prescription changed. I was required to produce a confirmation before I was finally told my prescription was ready,all in one breath from the pharmacy. I have evidence the authorization was approved 4 days prior, but it took the evidence to finally get the pharmacy to tell me I could pick up my prescription.I am not sure what part of the process is broken. If it is a problem for me I am sure others are experiencing it as well.Systems and structure improvement in an organization raise patient satisfaction. If this system remains broken and nobody pays attention to what patients are saying, the culture of the organization will never be patient centered.

Phoned my order in,. the next day I waited an hour in line only to be told it was not filled come back in another hour.. I really needed the Rx so I did what they said. 90 minutes later the same girl said “umm.. oh yeah” “give us a few minutes”. Another 30 minutes and it still wasn’t ready, so I left bc I have small kids to worry about. I came back the next day, waited another 40 minutes only to be told it STILL WAS NOT READY!

the online system is faulty I attempted to do a transaction several times and it wouldn't go through and it even locked out my card, I had to go to the bank and fix that problem, then after leaving my bank I called walgreens customer care and try to do the same transaction and still wouldn't go through. I tried to contact the store on site to see if due to the inconvenience they would order the items for me and i could just pay it there, but they wont even do that. Very inconvenient

I dropped off a perscription two days ago. I has taken three visits so far and the perscription wasn't ready. The perscription was in stock and only required a label. The store is in a tourist area with a large influx of people in the summer, I waited app. 20 minutes minutes each visit, this time I was told it would take another 15 minutes. This store is not prepared for the summer business. There should be more that one cashier. This is not acceptable, one more 20 minute wait I will ask for my scripts so I can change my pharmacy. We have a private pharmacy, a Walmarts and a Shoprite.

Longest wait times for prescriptions. They will send you a call or text to say it's filled and then tell you it's not ready when you get there. I also received the wrong prescription. Called my doctor because it seemed off and doctor confirmed what I was given was incorrect. Tried calling but waited 20 min on hold with no answer.

Each time I go to this location the staff seem more interested in chatting and hanging out than they do with helping customers. Then they lied to me saying the western union service was down. I went up the road and another buisness was able to assist me. I wouldnt suggest this location to anyone. I then called to complain to the supervisor and I was put in hold never to have my concerns dealt with all around bad service

It is a mistake to send orders of prescriptions drugs to Walgreens - it's already over 18 hours since we have ordered the prescription of antibiotics for infections and still not ready! Came back twice and unable to get time when it will be ready... and we are not the only ones here!

I had a HORRIBLE experience using Walgreens Pharmacy! Not to mention that now they don't take my Insurance anymore! Please do yourself a favor and find another Pharmacy!

Occasionally it's a long wait for prescriptions, other than that the store is usually fairly empty. Decent customer service too.

never have we had such an unpleasant visit anywhere ! we were on vacation & needed some meds which we forgot..The charge was sooo high it made no sense..staff was rude.lazy and unhelpful...we told everyone to say away from walgreens in monticello..must try to get them out of business

Avoid at all cost ! First,I had a gift card and they told me it was expired and no effort was made to transfer the balance to a new card.Second,they told me that my manufacturer coupons are not allowed to be used together with the store coupons .
