So happy we found this little market for our trip to upstate New York. The building blends into the neighborhood but it was an unexpected and much welcomed surprise to find this clean and cute grocery spot with organic staples and Korean goods. We picked up pancakes for the morning, dumplings, rice, savory kimchi cakes and a fresh prepared cucumber salad. Would definitely shop here again.

I saw all the great reviews and was super excited to give this place a try - kinda disappointed. I ordered the salmon teriyaki box and steamed vegetable dumplings. The salmon was tasty however it was severely lacking in vegetables which is in the description - 4 small pieces of broccoli is pretty sad. The dumplings they gave were not vegetable - they had ground meat in it which was very disappointing considering I do not eat pork or any meat that is not halal - I had to spit it out. I didn't gave enough time to make the trip back to get the correct dumpling order due to being on my work break. Overall - disappointed...maybe I'll try for sushi but definitely not in a rush considering my most recent experience.

Fresh veggies and fruits. Also has beautiful fresh flowers and they serve hot food the salmon and rice is delicious. The owners were very nice and friendly. They are pricey but it is worth it.

Small Asian market with mysteriously missing ingredients. For instance they had Thai curry paste but no coconut milk that I could find. Might have just been out that week but it seems like a pretty basic staple.

UPDATE: THIS IS MY GO-TO . I'VE BEEN COMING HERE NOW OVER 2 YEARS . PLACES AMAZING . SHRIMP TEMPURA ROLL IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Ramen soup was EXCELLENT. EXCELLENT VEGETABLE DUMPLINGS. 😋😋😋 Nice, clean market. Great variety of top brands. I bought lemongrass for soup, fresh mixed nuts and dried fruit. next time I would prefer to have more broth in my soup so I will make sure I request that. The broth was very good and on the spicier side which I love. Vegetables were extra but worth the extra $2. My first time here. So lucky that it's right around the corner. I'll be back for sushi and ingredients for the lemongrass chicken soup ‼️

Stopped in to the Buffet. The food was very good. They maple walnut ice cream 😋 I haven't had it in many years!! It could use some updating. Hospitality was great.

I've been going to the Monticello Green Market for years...it's the best! They have the absolutely most delicious sushi I've ever tasted; 100% fresh and they'll make it to order if what you want isn't in the display. I also love the miso soup (with fresh, chopped scallions if you want...yum!) and the wide assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables. All that is just the tip of the iceberg...the Monticello Green Market has a wide variety of made-to-order dishes and groceries. They're also very nice, and the service is excellent! :-)

I came seeking lemongrass, and I left carrying lemongrass. This shop has a small but well-chosen selection of fresh and packaged staple ingredients for Asian cooking, as well as some OK-looking sushi. Beyond that, it's a cross between a roadside convenience store and an old-school health food store. Selection could be broader, but it gets five stars for selling essential ingredients that are difficult to find in the area.

I love this place. It's the closest thing to being in a small fresh market in NYC. You can find fresh vegetables and fruits, sprouted breads, Vegan items and special foods you can't find anywhere else. Also a kitchen with a small menu for lunch or dinner. Delicious!!

This place is very good, they cook the food fresh. Sushi is very fresh too. quality is very good that’s why it is a bit pricey from walmart or shoprite. this is my favorite store. i recommend this store!

The recent renovation was for the better, which has led to the creation of a bright, clean, well-stocked store fill of healthy options. The selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs is especially good. Shop here for the things you won't find at either Shop-Rite or Wal-Mart.

This store consistently sells spoiled food — stuff that's past the expiration date, freezer-burned items, and things that are beyond questionable in terms of their lack of quality. On top of that, the pricing is ridiculously high. I've found items here that are more than 2x as expensive as at other stores. It's bad enough to pay more, but then to get an item that's spoiled or otherwise sub-par? I just purchased rice the other day that had a smell on it like gasoline (which remained even after vigorously washing it). I can't tell you how many times I've taken items back to this store because they were bad. I'm just tired of doing it. With behavior like that, these people shouldn't be in business.
