This place is an excellent eclectic paradise. It was a garden center, bait shop, pet shop, hardware store with the best selection of carhartt I've ever had the pleasure to be around. I went in for minnows and worms for our lake trip and found so much more. Highly recommended

Been there a few times, they are a bit pricey but who isn't these days. Wasn't going to buy any plants this year but I got a few on sale. This place holds a special place in our hearts. My partner was in there about 20 yrs ago & there were a few kittens 4 sale. He pet one & as he was walking out he heard the cage rattle loudly & the same one jumped up on the cage w all 4 legs splayed out as if to say don't leave me. He was our wonderful companion 4 16 years. Everytime we pass there we say his name, Jester

Idiots walk among us. Was sold flea meds instead of tick, but refused a refund. I asked for Frontljne and the employee gave me “the same thing but cheaper”. It in fact was not the same thing so I came back after using one dose once I had realized my pet wasn’t completely protected outside. Employee made the mistake, company takes the hit. The reason the owner Ryan quoted for not wanting to give me a refund? His bottom line. News flash! No customers, no bottom line. Blamed me for not reading the label. What a joke 🤡

Biggest selection of Carhartt's I've ever seen. Came in handy at Christmas time. The gentleman , that I believe is the owner, has helped me through the years . Very informative about ponds.

A Hidden Gem!Located conveniently on Route 17B in Monticello, Monticello farm Home and garden is a great shop for your outdoor needs.Nice clean and neat store for homeowners and contractors to grab what they need for the outdoors.If you walk through the store the back section becomes a Carhartt store. Fully stocked with everything Carhartt has to offer from boots to overalls to coat's to sweatshirt to gloves and everything else in between.I've been here multiple times and will keep shopping here!

Excellent selection for outdoor apparel and gear. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful people. I will recommend them to e everyone in the area. Oh, and they have a garden store with a surprise pet store mixed in. It's an incredible place with incredible people.

⚠️ WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HEREI had purchased multiple fish from here in the past but all of them had died days later. I went to a local breeder and they said all the fish I purchased were sick. So I stopped purchasing any pets from them. I should have learned my lesson but I didn't. I started purchasing my live feed from them recently. I had no problem at first with the crickets I purchased. But this weekend I went to purchase 3 dz LG crickets from them. And they all went belly up the following day on labor day. I called in Monday morning to see if we can get my issue fixed. After being hung up on they pretty much told me its my problem and that they can't do anything about it. (They tried to say that my setup might of been the reason but I have the exact setup they had in their store. If anything mine is more hygienic since I clean if more than they do)I am going to be changing my feed provider from now on. But I'll write this warning to any of you guys before you get the same issue again.

This is my favorite store in the world. It has everything I need to work my land and support my home, but also has a bunch of stuff that I had no idea I needed or wanted. They sell everything from Carhartt work gear to tree frogs and I love it!

Best place to get Foxfarm anything and best priced in Sullivan county. Fish and reptiles that are in great health and plenty variety. So many potted plants. The people here are very kind. My kids love going here.

Good old fashioned country store. They have a bit of everything for the home and garden. Great selection of work clothes. Walk in with your eyes closed and the smell alone will carry you back in time to your childhood and visits to the country store with your parents.

They got anything pet wise that you'd ever need. They also have a lot of different kinds of pets here including puppies which you don't see as often any more at the basic pet store. Found an amazing deal on a cage for my rat and got a free Teddy-Bear Hamster because they were overstocked cause of a newer litter and I'd have to say, there the softest most adorable animal I've ever owned. Not to mention how tiny they stay. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

This store is great ! I stop there frequently often as 3-4 times per week. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable always willing to help you out but not up your backside. Plants are great and they carry a lot of stuff that you might not even think of. The owner supports the community so shop local and support there store ! Monday morning Mr Lugnut is THUNDER COUNTRY RADIO with Paul Gilberto giving the NASCAR REPORT !

Very unfriendly. They close 10 minutes before 5PM and if you get to the store while they are closing they do not care if you drove a long way to get there, they refused to sell you what you came for. They are thereThey have the merchendice and they would rather argue with you than allow you to buy what you need. Nasty and unfriendly. The owner does not care about customers.
