The people here are so nice and the scope is very generous. They actually care about people being happy getting ice cream.Service is wonderful and especially the girl serving me with a big smile. Please support their college fund tipping jar.Ice cream is good. Not a fan of some of their flavor as they can be a bit too artificial. Love the peanut butter chip thou. Five star for service still.Ambiance is very family friendly. They have kid sized with reasonable price. This is like an old school ice cream parlor should be and nothing fancy.

Fresh and delicious ice creams, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We have visited many times and they have a great selection of flavors to satisfy every taste bud. Our kids favorites include - Deep Sea Treasure (for all caramel lovers) Cookies and Cream, and Bittersweet Sinphony (for those coffee lovers). P.S. Forgot to mention, this place is cash only!

Me and my daughter we were getting ice cream and my daughter got a double ice cream with strawberry double cone but then we realized there's black things in it and also we found a bug on my daughter's ice cream we hope that they did not put a bug on her ice cream because this is unacceptable I'm so disappointed at Wally's do better and they seem kind of racist

I was actually a bit surprised. I have lived here 3+ years, and I only thought Wally's was soft serve ice cream. Although they don't have their own homemade ice cream like some of the other local ice cream joints, they have an array of many flavors from several different local brands. They do have soft serve as well if that's your jam. The other standout is customer service. They have at least 3 windows open with very speedy and friendly service. I also love the feel of that 50's ice cream parlor. It's definitely worth a visit.

Went here last week and got a kiddie with marshmallow sauce in a cup with no problem. They even put the cone on top for me. Today, I wanted the same kiddie with marshmallow sauce and they told me it's not possible to put marshmallow sauce in a kids cup. I said they did it last week and she said it's not possible, so I asked if it's possible to just put the kiddie in a slightly larger cup. They gave me a kiddie portion in the larger cup, but still charged me for a small. They did not give me a small portion, which is significantly larger than a kiddie. I am extremely disappointed at what was clearly an attempt to upsell ICE CREAM of all things. I've been coming here for years, but I think this might be my last time.

Update 6/18/2022: Went here again yesterday for some ice cream after eating at the local restauarant the Captains Table with my family. There was also a line, but it moved quickly, and all the windows were open. I ordered the cotton candy ice cream in a cup, my mom ordered vanila soft serve in a cone, and my dad ordered hard chocolate ice cream with fudge and whipped cream and a cherry. Cost was about $20.00, which isn't bad. We all enjoyed our ice cream, and we will be back again!Update 6/11/2022: Went here again today for some ice cream. There was a line, but it moved kind of fast, which is good. We were helped right away too! Decided to try the Cookie Monster Sundae, which is your choice of ice cream with fudge, cookie dough, a cherry on top, whipped cream, and oreos. I had it with Cookie dough ice cream too, so that made it more doughy. enjoyed it! my dad ordered a sundae, but they gave him soft ice cream, instead of hard! its okay tho, things happen and sometimes if it is busy we can forget to ask. it happens! My mom also ordered the root beer float, which she liked. we took it home to go as she was home. all the ice cream was good, and hopefully will be back soon!Original: Went here for the 1st time this season on Saturday. Also been here before on several occasions. Wally's has plenty of ice cream from soft serve to hard Perry's ice cream, to sundaes and ice pops. This visit, i ordered the coffee ice cream in a cup, and my dad ordered the queen of hearts in a cup. Both were good. The line was not long when we went, but we did beat the crowd that came in a few minutes after us. They do have tables where you can eat your ice cream, but my family ate theirs in the car. it was refreshing, and definetely will be back soon! also all windows are cash only, so just make sure to bring cash with you!

2.5 stars. Soft ice cream was still a treat. However we ordered a medium cone for $4.10 and wassurprised at the size of it. We even asked the woman if what we ordered was a medium b/c it could of passed as a small cone. We thought we would hate to see what the small cone looked like.The sugar cones definitely are smaller than last time we went. Getting a 1/2 gallon of ice cream is always my 1st choice.

Only sells ice cream, which was a letdown. Yet the ice cream soft, of course, was SO GOOD! I live in Newburgh, so my favorite place closed up years ago. This is the only place that the ice cream taste like theirs. Highly recommend it.

The setting isn't particularly inspiring, and the service could have been faster, but the ice cream was soo good. I had a Wally's Wizard (like a Blizzard) with twist ice cream and Oreos. So many choices too!

Love their pistachio almond ice cream usually the the flavor, but theirs is top notch! I have it almost everyday haha soft serve is great too. Definitely best local creamery around. I’ve had only one rude employee, but she was probably just having a bad day.

Wally's has great ice cream. Not as popular as Weirs but their ice cream is top notch. Always clean and the staff is friendly. There's some outdoor seating and access to the Orange Heritage Trail right behind the bldg so you can immediately off the calories post consumption! Doesn't get any better than that

My gosh, such wonderful, enticing flavor combinations! We had salted Caramel ice cream, and I added oreo crunches and a little Caramel swirl, superb! We arrived at 830pm, and there were 3 lines. Clean, fast, pleasant service. A true gem!

Since the Drug Out in Central Valley closed, Wally's in Monroe is the go to ice cream place. So many flavors of hard ice cream and all sorts of sundaes and shakes. Soft ice cream too! Go to Wally's and chill !

Best parlor in the Monroe/Woodbury locale. Newsflash to the others who think they're as good....soft serve frozen yogurt is actually delicious and doesn't carry the same horrific calories and fat as soft serve ice cream. Pretty sure we're living in a time when having a couple healthy choices are par for the course. This isn't the only reason I love Wally's but it sure helps!
