No cashiers and one extremely obese woman to assist when you do self checkout. Paying for your groceries should not be a complete nightmare. Had to wait several minutes 2 separate times so she could put in her code.

Shop rite loves to use digital coupons that one inevitably forget to load so you have to redo the entire self checkout. It's a stupid inconvenient practice, just provide the discount. Stop making customers act like circus monkeys. Self checkout cameras are also way too sensitive, when one wears a hat or checks out fast, like I do. Inevitably, you end up waiting five minutes for someone to verify that, indeed you're not a thief. This store is the worst shop rite in the area abd I try to avoid it like the plague. I regret it every time I come here.

On check out the attendance name tag stated Jayson . At first I mentioned I have a case of water and named brand and continue adding to belt . Never hesitated to bag my own groceries and looking at the smirk on the face of the employee and me moving on I was questioned if am sure I have anything other than the water in the lower cart , I looked and ask him to check him self and not liking my reply and the last few items left to bag was asked if I needed help ? I say yes I will make my payment.requesting 2 bags and double bag it he replied he didn’t know how to and kept looking at me , When I did it for him the employee stuffed bread into the bag and ripped it . When I ask him for another bag he replied there is nothing wrong with it . I stated you just charge me for it and I need another bag and reluctantly issued with unprofessional attitude.

This Monroe, NY Location is very conveniently located on 17M and I shop there when I need something in a hurry.Unfortunately, for the third time in a row, their organic produce was moldy and had to be returned. Myself and others have complained to whoever was the manager at the time - to no avail. Either the refrigerator is not working properly or the more likely - a bad batch of expired or expiring produce is being sold.Needless to say, if you're looking for fresh produce, seek elsewhere.

I really like this location, but I was disappointed when I was looking for a ham yesterday and saw the condition of this ham available to customers. Shame on the butcher and the managers that put this out for sale. It actually belongs in the garbage.

I AM BEYOND DISSAPOINTED!! For the past 7 years I've ordered my cakes from shoprite. This shoprite, I've been ordering from for 2 years. VERY SADLY, for them to take part in FOOD "shortaging" by REPLACING CAKE with MOSTLY ICING and FILLING. I purchased the 10 inch round, paid 40+ for it and at least half is filling! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DISGUSTING!! ZERO STARS

Big beautiful and clean store. The manager Jack is friendly, helpful and professional.The store opens at 6 am everyday. It has a great selection in all departments. Of course like any store you have to know your prices. They do have good specials. You can order deli on line and pickup at the store, Wednesdays they have specials on sushi which is always fresh, and fresh produce, etc.I enjoy looking at the items behind the WOW signs and occasionally picking up the item even when it's not on my list.I walk the store at least every other month to check out the "NEW" items.I use the self checkout but prefer a cashier.

ShopRite of Monroe is awesome. They have a great selection of groceries snacks at the deli chicken sushi and all different kinds of fish at the fish market area I feel so safe there they put arrows on the floor for us to follow on the right direction so we can keep social distancing and the best part is that we get the weight online one big line for everybody that's the best part. I recommend going to ShopRite for all your grocery needs and food needs because the help there is so friendly and kind.

I like the new store layout and fresh, organic offerings. Seems cleaner and more modern.The store is great, but that parking lot is why I tend to do most my shopping at other stores. That's completely separate from my opinion on the store which is why I didn't reflect that in the star rating.

12 check out lanes and only one is open. They want you to self checkout. So you pay outrageous food bills and your going check yourself out and bag everything. All this while the supermarket gets richer because they're not hiring people to check you out and bag your groceries. So your paying overpriced food bills and working for them for free. Wait on line and force them to open more registers or or let them take 10% at least off your bill.

I had not been in this ShopRite for a while and it has been transformed into a very pretty store. Clean and nice wide aisles. Shelves were well stock. I would have given in 5 starts if not for the checkout. The person who checked out my order seemed like he would rather be someplace else. I always help bagging and I was doing the bagging and when the checkout was finished I thought he would at least help, but he stood there doing nothing until I asked for a few more bags, at which point he said he would "help" me pack. So out of the 12 very full bags I would say he packed about 1-1/2 bags. So store is basically a 5-star and the checkout was a 1 star (barely).

Pros: Reliable, parking available, fresh produce, nice selection of meat, variety of everything, ethnic specialty food selection nice, sales are the best, hand sanitizer always available, cashier's very pleasant, respecting social distancing guidelines, sushi 😊. Over all very clean and safe store.Cons: Sometimes during high volume hours management and customer service lacks. Bathrooms need to be kept better, registers, carts, and debit card reader need to be wiped more frequently.

Purchased the managers special on baby back ribs on Friday and was ready to put them on the grill Sunday morning. The meat was raniced, not the frist time I have gotten raniced meat at this store. Been shopping here over 20 years but if I have to put up no open registers and questionable meat it's time for a change.

The selection is okay and the store is clean, but they have HUGE issues with having enough registers open at peak times. Expect to wait on line for quite a bit if the store is even remotely crowded.Managers just lounge around while checkout lanes are unmanned with dozens of people waiting on checkout, and if you can believe it, the self-checkout is EVEN slower!

A very nice ShopRite. Employees are friendly. They helped us find things we were looking for without giving any attitude. They have a good variety of things. Their bakery is really tasty. They have the best Canolis. And also, what's very nice is that there is a park right next to it, so it's nice to walk around and then, go to ShopRite.

Foods great but why all the self checkouts, charging for paper bags, and not having baskets to get food with.They use to have no self checkouts, free plastic and paper bags, and baskets. Miss those days.

They sell food. but all they have a lot of toys too i can’t keep my eyes of the toys i love toys i go to shop and just stare at the toys they are so cool my wife is always asking why i take 7 hours to buy her favorite carrots from her favorite shop rite in los angles i spend 5 hours looking at the toys and 2 hours trying to find the carrots. i don’t even eat them i forgot i even have a wife did i mention i love toys?

Went here because i needed some groceries. Store is really clean, and shelves are stocked. Went to the cold cuts section: had everything we needed at the precut sliced station. Next went to the produce section, everything was clean and looked fresh. we purchased squash, eggplant, onions, and tomatos. Next went to the meat section. They had a good selection of Hamburgers- although we really like the Wahlburgers burgers that were there- was that only a summer thing? would be nice to know! Overall well stocked. There are plastic gaurds when you get to the cashier. Checkout was easy, and we went to a cashier this time. They also have self checkout. Overall, i definetely will come back for my shopping needs!

I am so disappointed in the customer service in this shop rite. I have never had such an issue with a store. No one in this super market knew the time they were closing. You have on person in the exit saying they are closed at 10pm and one person putting shopping carts away and saying they are open until 12am. Also from the photo here you can see that the website says it is open until 12am. Not only did person at the door say they were closed at 10pm but she had terrible customer service and was extremely rude to my mother and grandmother. She had the audacity to talk about each of us while we were leaving the store. Her exact words “I don’t understand these customers they are so rude and they don’t get that we work for them”. I will never shop at this shop rite ever again. What rude customer service.

I like their new produce section, bowl and basket store brand that has cost friendly options. They now have a hot food bar with a variety of food you can put in container to go. A little pricy per pound though.

I really enjoyed shopping here, when it comes to freshness and unlimited amounts of products that you need they are on point. Everything is organized. The staff is friendly and very professional. My only problem here was with an employee named Connie an older woman. I was in the aisle of the shampoo, conditioner, beauty products, and etc.. I picked up a leave in conditioner product that I wanted to buy. I decided to open it to smell it. As I do so I hear Connie yelling you better put that down ! You can not do that here! She races up to me as if she is going to physically attack me in order to get me to put the product down. Instead of asking me are you purchasing that product? Because if you aren't you're not allowed to open it. I understand the action is a wrong doing upon sight. But it does not call for an employee to become unprofessional and get into my personal space in order to what it appeared to me physically snatch the item. I find it very disrespectful because every employee is a representation of a store. She represented the supermarket poorly. I don't think in any way I showed any sign of disrespect by opening an item I was ready to buy. It bothered me so much I decided not to respond to any of her comments because she sounded completely disrespectful by screaming at me in front of other customers. As an employee she needed to be more mindful of who she approaches in that manner because she is clearly provoking a physical altercation. Tension rise very high when you're up close and personal while screaming.

Great grocery in my new town. I have been pretty impressed overall with the fresh fruit and vegetables and overall prices. They have also done a good job with the distancing and keeping it clean during the current situation.
