I love splash and dash, they have treated my mini golden doodle, ginger, with such care. I used to take her to petsmart and was never happy with the treatment or grooming of my dog. Here they truly show amazing professionalism and kindness to owners and their pups!

I love this place but it takes about 3+ hours for them to groom my dog. Very nice people and customer service. The very first time was a great wash, due to the stud package which I highly recommend for male dogs or the diva package for female dogs. I wish they are able to cut and file my dogs nail better but overall they get the job done.

very unprofessional owner Called and never call back had a appointment today at 10:45 and nobody showed but a gentleman showed up with a U-Haul truck and said he was buying their grooming table and he also was able to get me in to his shop Shampoochie salon, 25 South St. Washingtonville New York really nice people and they do a fantastic job.

Great service! My dog is normally nervous during baths or any grooming but they said he did great. He looks amazing and smells lovely! I recently switched groomers because my dog was sneezing incessantly from all the perfumes they put on him but here they don't overload whilst still making him smell good. Loved the staff and the added bonus of the pet store was amazing:)

My 4 year old English bully has been visited this location for the past 3 years and I have to say that this place is awesome. They have a great friendly staff and I would definitely recommend this place to every one that has a doggy.

Would give zero stars if possible. Used to take my dogs here weekly because we had monthly bath memberships it was convenient and close by. Until the last time we took our dogs and our sweet baby girl was complete mauled and attacked by another dog (pit Bull) which tore my dogs chest up. Beth’s (owner) response was not heart felt and all business. Basically she fired the person who was handling the pit Bull and blamed them for everything. Told me she would reimburse me for medical bills only, then suggested a really really terrible emergency vet clinic that didn’t even do their job and we had to take our dog to our own vet the next day because of a severe infection. The reason we took our dogs there was mainly the amazing woman who worked there, she quit after this experience so we had zero reason to continue taking our pets there. Beth’s snotty uncaring attitude was the biggest reason for not giving our business to them any longer. It has been a couple years now and I’m still upset over the experience. Our poor baby girl has so much scar tissue and doesn’t trust other dogs anymore. This incident could have been dealt with in a much better way. I would never recommend anyone to take their pets to this place. Awful experience and still very traumatized by the reaction we received.

I’ve been a loyal customer for a year and never had any problems however they got a new groomer and I unfortunately trusted her with my dog. She totally buzzed my dog and left his hair uneven when I specifically told them to do the same haircut that he received last time from Beth which she never buzzed him ever. I went back in and complained about my dog having random long hairs and looking choppy and was told that the groomer said “he wasn’t cooperating well”. Again I’ve been a loyal customer for a year with a monthly membership taking my dog in once a week and never expected them to let my dog leave looking like this. I will never use the new groomer again and will speak to the original groomer when she returns.

The Splash and Dash located in Monroe, New York is amazing!! I would not trust my 13 year old Boston Terrier to anyone else. She comes out happy and smelling great! The staff is friendly and very professional. I especially love browsing the Boutique and finding items that you won't see anywhere else. Overall, it is a great place and I wouldn't take my little Zoe to any other groomer!

I have been taking my puppy, a 2 yr old Havanese here for almost a year now, but my last visit was so upsetting that I was forced to cancel my membership.I normally took him on Fridays. The girl at the front desk was always kind, sweet and very understanding because my dog does not like to go anywhere without me. She would always ask me to walk him to the door and she would take him from there.For my last visit I had to take him on a Saturday instead (November 12). The lady at the front desk was not very friendly, but that was not the issue, she asked me to leave and proceeded to take him to the back by pulling him forcibly to make him walk in. He is 16lbs so not very big; but this is not the worse part or why I cancelled my membership.When I went to pick him up, she went in to get him, he came out not too excited to see me (which was very weird), it was clear that he was scared and anxious, and on top of that, she had the nerve to tell me, "that dog is crazy, he was throwing himself on the floor and his eyes were red like if he was throwing a tantrum."I was able to hold myself and just walked out, now I regret not saying anything on the spot.If his eyes were red is because she was pulling way too hard and she was choking him. The harder you pull on those leashes the tighter they get.He was shaking for a long time after we got home. Super scared. I was so upset and angry that I sent an email right away canceling my membership.As you know this place is not cheap, and even if it was, you don't take your pet to a groomer to be abused and traumatized.Very dissapointed !! If you don't have the love and patience to deal with pets, why work there?These animals, are part of our families, they feel pain, if we are willing to spend our money taking them to a groomer and taking care of them is because they are important to us. So yeah, not going back there.Btw, I never leave bad reviews but since I left good ones in the past, I need to leave this one as well.

Excellent place to take your dogs and great customer service as well. I have been taking both of my dogs for 3 years and I am always happy once I get my dogs back. Great environment as well. So many things you can get in there and your dogs will love it.

We've been bringing our older dog here for years and they always do a great job. Yoday we brought our 3 yr old dog for the first time and again Splash & Dash didn't disappoint. They made her shine and she smells so good. Yay

The BEST Dog groomer ever! They take very large dogs that’s a plus! My husky always come out smelling good and extra clean!! Definitely bring your dog here!

My dog is a regular at the salon and he LOVES it. All the staff treat him like they would their own pup. My dog runs towards them and hugs and kisses on the staff with overwhelming joy when he sees them. That gesture alone proves that they treat him really well. They do an excellent job grooming. I have tried many places and splash and dash is by far the best. He smells so good and they brush him out really well so that he doesn't shed. You will not be disappointed. By far the best groomers in Orange County.

STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Seriously save your pet and go anywhere else but here. I have been a customer for about 5 years with my dog. The young ladies there are rude and have no idea how to handle dogs without harming them. The last few times I took my dog to the groomer, she has come back seeming very dissociated as well as limping for the next week. HAPPENED TWICE! I should have done my research before bringing my pup there again.Allegedly a former employee wrote a review of the possible mistreatment going on in the hands on this place. Its online go look for yourself! The last time I took my dog to the groomer she was completely fine before going in, the environment was so stressful (according to the manager, a total KAREN, who admitted it was a stressful environment to me on the phone) that it effected my dogs heart and we ended up in the emergency room and she passed the next day. The lady who worked there on the phone was very defensive and accusatory and gaslighted me as well as saying I am defaming them and it was my fault that it happened because my dog had some medical issues THAT I TOLD THEM TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT and they agreed to take her.PLEASE if you love your pet, DO NOT GO HERE I beg of you for the safety of all animals!!!!!!

I would have given one star but the girl that cut my baby's hair was so friendly. My dog who is a purebred maltese was there a month ago on 8/14 I have waited to leave my review to see if his hair would go back and it has NOT ... They used clippers on him after I specifically asked them not too! Whatever I picked him up and was fine (like other reviews I was stunned about the price because I was given a different price then what I was told at pick up) but pricing aside as his hair started to grow back it was almost poodle like!!! When he received grooming from petsmart (they used scissors) his hair grew back normally, I tried this place because I live on lakes rd and it was just convenient for me but NEVER again!! His hair after baths and blow has not gone back to what it was.. I am beyond upset because I don't know if his hair is now ruined after coming here !

The young lady, I believe she is the manager is so kind. I can tell she really has a connection with my babies and that makes me feel so comfortable leaving them with her. The groomers always make my babies look and feel gorgeous. They take their time and really listen to how you’d like your dogs hair cut. My pups always come out looking so nice and smelling so fresh.

I have taken both of my dogs here for the past 5 years and have always been satisfied with their services. Unfortunately this week I took one of my boys in for shampoo and pedicure. When I got home I noticed Mickey had a slight limp and upon looking at his front paws I noticed that the nails were clipped into the quick and they were quite jagged and some small pieces were poking into the toe pad. The quick was exposed and very red and raw. At this point I sent an email through the website and received a very quick response from the owner Beth. After discussing the situation online it was agreed that I would bring Mickey in for her to see for herself. Beth looked at his front paws and did not seem to be at all concerned about my concerns. She even stated that the nails could have been cut even shorter to which I immediately objected. I explained that I was not looking to cause trouble but I felt very strongly that perhaps some further training might be helpful for the employee who performed the service. Beth stated that Mickey's future service would be provided at no charge. I was not interested in that. However she stated that that would make her feel better. I thought it was about making the customer feel better. I wanted to hear her Express validation of my concerns rather than give me reasons why there was nothing unusual about how his nails were cut so I have come to the conclusion that if I want peace of mind concerning my dogs it will become necessary for me to seek another groomer. My only regret is that I'm not able to post a picture of the mutilated nails

My puppy came out looking spectacular!! He had a thick undercoat which makes it more difficult to get a smooth cut but they did! He looks like cotton candy and smells delicious! Will definitely be back!!!

First, I would say the facility is doggie secure and pleasant. However, a few things happened which future customers should be aware of. When my little guy piddled on the floor, I was handed a roll of paper towels to clean it up with instructions to dispose of the towels in the dumpster behind the building (huh??) so it wouldn't smell. I have no problem wiping up but to take it out of the building??I was quoted one price on the phone which nearly doubled when I picked him up. Though I made the appointment for a shampoo and trim, she said the price I was quoted was for the bath only. We had discussed nail trimming, weight, style cut, time, etc. I called to make an appointment for a shampoo and cut. $48 on the phone. $82 at pick up. This is a 15 lb terrier. What to do when they have your pet?I won't go back. The cut was nice but not nice enough for me to endure the bait and switch and push to "join" the montly plan.

My dog has been going there for over a year now with no issues……..The last 2 times he’s been groomed his face has not been cut at all. When I went to drop him off the last time he started yelping as soon as we got out of the car to walk in. He refused to walk, began shaking and crying. He desperately started scratching at my leg to pick him up. He does not even act like this going to the vet which is super concerning to me. He now is very fearful of a groomer, and I have not been able to get him groomed since. I’m not sure what goes on there behind closed doors, or if they got a new staff member. But there has definitely been a change, and now he has a major fear. Will not be recommending them to anyone.

I've been taking both of my dogs here for over 1 year and was very satisfied. One day, after a regular grooming, I noticed that both of my dogs were limping because their paw pads were cut.I took my dogs back to show the owner, Beth. Beth wouldn't even come out to acknowledge and see the damage her staff caused. After some arguing with the girl at the front, she simply offered to cancel our account.I'm really shocked that we were great customers for over 1 year and the owner wouldn't even acknowledge us when we had a problem. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. There's much better grooming places in the area.

I recently brought my golden retriever here for what was considered a 'casual cut'. I spoke at length with the groomer before she was brought into the back and made it clear to only trim her hair as short as is recommended for a golden retriever. After 5 hours of waiting for her, I drove there since I didn't even receive a heads up she would take longer than the allotted 4 hours they said it would be. When I pulled up, I had to do a triple take after seeing a dog through the window, that it was in fact my dog that was SHAVED. I proceeded to speak with the groomer, who was extremely defensive and said I agreed to this. I would never agree to this, it is unsafe to shave a golden! They also said that wasn't true, which scares me even more.I emailed the owner to voice my frustrations, whom I still never spoke with. She had other employees do this for her. They did not seem to want to provide a refund, only proceed to say this was a 'two way street' and I agreed to this haircut. They offered 50% refund which I adamantly refused.I will be taking this up to the corporate ladder, I have NEVER been so disgusted with how a business runs in my life.I urge people to never bring their furry babies to this place.

We bring our two furbabies here at least once a month, usually more because they honestly do a fantastic job with them! They always come back feeling, smelling, and looking great and the staff is so welcoming and friendly! I also love how they are always willing to work with us for appointment times if we need to make a sudden change.

I have taken my two dogs here for about two years. They have received great cuts and I was pleased with that however I have noticed that the last two visits one dog tends to scratch more than the other. The first time I noticed that my white dog had fleas that she didn’t arrive there with. I chalked it up to it was summer and that she may have picked it up outdoors. I then noticed after another visit the same thing occurred. This occurrence leaves me to think that when they are done bathing dogs they house them in crates that other dogs have been in that have fleas. It is frustrating to apply additional flea treatments on both dogs to ensure that they aren’t bringing fleas back into my home or to bathe them again after spending money for it already.
