This store has a lot of good stuff. Great for when you're in a pinch and need to grab some stuff but don't want to go into a huge store. Staff here are always awesome! Especially the lady in charge at night times. Always a pleasure shopping there!

I never in the 3 years I've now worked in Monroe shopped at this particular Dollar General. We needed a few particular items and decided to try them out! The shopping experience was pretty good. We found what we needed and picked up items we didn't even anticipate buying! Checkout was fine; the cashier pleasant. As we were leaving he ran back for one more item; so I waited at checkout. A woman who was not at the counter when I had checked out appeared. At this point customers were checking out as I was off to the side. She yells rudely from behind the counter, "Miss, the line starts back there!" and points. I looked and told her I had already paid. Seemingly embarrassed she tried to apologize for her erroneous comment. Not accepted. I'll never set foot in there again! Periodt. Zero stars (if I could).

Great selection and pretty good prices. They still have hamburger and hot dog buns, for only $1.

Store is great come here often mostly for cleaning products and I got say it's almost always stock with what I need and the manger I don't know here name but she nice and always says hi to everyone that walks in the door..

Great place for quick and cheap. I’ll go here for toilet paper or milk for cheaper than the local deli but faster than the larger stores. Could use an updated storefront and cleanup, though it is a dollar general and I don’t believe their first priority is looking the best.

Would not recommend this location. Organization for this store is completely absent. Went in for simple things for a barbecue and had to hop to 7 different isles for everything and had to ask for help and the worker didnt know where things were. This store needs a serious reorganization because you need to play "Where's Waldo" for anything you're looking for.

I love the prices on toilet paper & paper towels in The Dollar General stores across the nation. When I'm too exhausted to shop in Super Wal-Mart then I go to Dollar General to purchase items in a jiffy! It's quick & easy, no long lines to wait in.

I love dollar General, but at this location 1 year ago I was asked to leave the store because I have a dog stroller due to his leg disease, and the stroller has a zipped in cover and the breed of the dog is a chihuahua, I was asked to leave because is not a service dog. I was very hurt and told your female manager they lost my business . I love my dog he's my bud.

I frequent Dollar General Lakes Road in Monroe it's a short walk. It seems the staff his improved in the last 2 years I would say the employees try very hard to stay ahead of the Curve stocking shelves and organization. I don't get 5 stars there's always room for improvement but I give the girls in there a 4 & 1/2

The store and its prices were great, the massive nasty spider that almost gave me a heart attack? Not so great... But it was removed promptly. There are no public restrooms, but the staff took pity on me thankfully.

Manager was very polite and professional only thing that can be approved is the store can be a little more clean less clutter certain things are hard to get at because big carts of boxes and stuff block certain spaces sometimes

Great local mini department store!! They have everything..a total asset to the community! All the staff members are very friendly. It's now our go to store in West Milford!

Got light bulbs for the wax warmer(40w apliance bulbs) and found some 90%off valintines socks for my fiance. They were nice and brought a basket without asking.

Good deals... store is a little on the dirty side, but that's common w these types of stores...Often times sales dont ring up on register, and you get an attitude from the cashier when you want your sale

The Christmas rush had the store in a mess but I was able to find what I needed. The customer service was helpful and fast. Sometimes a small neighborhood store is all that's needed
