The worse groomer around. They charged me as a standard goldendoodle meanwhile my dog is a mini goldendoodle. Then they tell me hes too big to be a mini meanwhile hes 40 lbs fully grown. Money guzzlers and wasnt even worth it, I’ve spent less elsewhere. AVOID.

This was the first (and last) time I have gone to this location for a grooming. Previously I had been to a Pet-smart in Poughkeepsie and they did an amazing job not sure whats going on over here.

Horrible customer service Just been treated like garbage.Mattt the register employee refuse to help me when I was ready to pay for my dog food Gastrointestinal/Royal Canine.I had prescription and he said I need to go to the vet and get a card .I shop weekly with my vet prescription.,in this Pet Smart with no problem.He called the manager,put my food aside and refuse to ring me up.Start screaming at me, telling me off..Talking over me,.At.1 point I told him. I am a client,and I should not be treated like Garbage.He was so rude, unprofessional,harassing me even when the manager,took.me to a different register and ring me up.He was holding he's finger almost in my face ,I told him.you are harassing me,and I was going to call the cops 'He started,Go ahead call the cops' This guy.Matt made me fear for my safety. He's state of mind wasn't right.. The store have all you need for your pets. From food, toys, beds, pillows to buy or adopt like the people who work here said.Adopt from a lizard to a dog, yes some times they have like today, adoption dog day it is sad to see all this dogs looking for a home but it is part of the store.All stuff are always ready to help you but they ir Sumer who work here who always help kids to understand what animals are here and what they eat and she us always ready to answer any questions from any one.So if you come to the store you will notice her or any of the stuff member who are there to help you.Adoption cat or dog day is a day for everybody to come to the store.

Just like other reviewers down below, I had a similar situation with trying to charge me $42.00 and the requested services were not even close to being rendered. Went today to bring my Yorkie to have a full haircut, nails, etc. Been scheduled for a week. It was almost 4 hours 8:00 am-11:45 am and I went back to pick up my dog-------NO HAIRCUT, NO NAIL TRIMMING! I was NEVER called, my intuition kicked in and told me to go and get him, and I am so happy I did! He was "washed" if you want to call it that (after 4 hours!). Face was not even washed, and still looked dirty. I had a suspicion something was odd, as I went back at about 10:30 and nothing had been done. There were barely any dogs in there today (I am assuming people are wising up and not bringing in their beloved pets to this place). My dog had been locked in a cage for almost 4 hours-No water, no attention! HE IS TRAUMATIZED! I am beyond upset! The "manager" of the grooming dept was BEYOND rude, classless...no apology...gave me nasty looks when I refused to pay the $42.00 that she was insisting I pay for the "services provided." Word TO THIS MISINFORMED YOUNG INEXPERIENCED LADY----this is not how this works! Customer requests a service, YOU provide the EXACT service, and THEN there is payment! She kept giving me these menacing looks. I told her I do not trust her around pets and that there was something not quite right with her...insane was the word I think I used. Scary to think that her anger and hostility was like this towards a 51 year old returning customer---can she be trusted with our pets? I do not trust anyone with an anger problem to be around my dog (s). She actually said to me that I could pay for an entire treatment now and come back at another date to have the dog groomed....lol! Again, not how this works, my dear. My dog who has anxiety was in a CAGE FOR ALMOST 4 hours! Not to mention, the place is filthy--it has gone DOWNHILL. They also do this thing where they DRAG your dog in by its neck with their leash instead of just taking the dog. My Yorkie is 12 pounds, you have to DRAG him in by his neck? Do yourself a favor and pay a few more dollars and bring to a professional, reputable place. Your fur baby is worth it! STAY CLEAR OF PETSMART CORTLANDT MANOR! From the looks on the other employees in the room, this young lady has major issues. I will not be going back to even purchase items (I have two dogs and spend a ton of money there). Good rinse, Petsmart! (You can see my full blog post soon- Will update with site when completed.) Lastly, I tried to speak to an actual manager of the store, but there is none on Sunday? ODD!!!!!!I just emailed the CEO of Petsmart and copied this review. I am beyond upset and still shaken up! Email him (J.K. Symancyk) with all your complaints, he is the CEO and should know!

Can't schedule cat nail trimmings except in the am? Idk how these groomers can't schedule a cat nail trimming except for 730 am during a work week. It's a couple of minutes to do just so wierd how these places operate now never experienced this before living in the city.Let's update this because I gave it one more shot. Tried to utilize the walk in nail services today. Called at 7am to see of there would be availability to come by with my cat just to cut the nails. (A less then 10 minute procedure) and yet again was told I could come by during the week. You dont have walk in nail services stop claiming it. And maybe someone should be hired just to do these nails. You are letting money walk away everytime they refuse to take walk in work. I struggle to see how this store has a 4 star review when every comment is the same about how terrible the service is. I tried again today and yet again it was a disappointment.

Made an appointment for my dog for a bath ONLY. Get there and they tell me it’s been canceled. No idea why. I never cancelled . They take her and tell me it will be 2 hours!I get there 2 hours later she still isn't done.. they are clipping her nails and have a huge cone around her neck. Huge. My dog is 4.9 lbs!She gives me my dog I proceed to go pay…a ridiculous $45. I notice as I’m on line to pay that her face is still dirty and her hair is still wet…didn’t take the time to dry her completely.I go back in and tell her ..just to get a ridiculous response of …” that won’t come off for another couple of washes.” Are you for real?I give her back and she cleans her face with wipes and it comes right off.My dog looked disheveled when I got her and didn’t smell clean. Think they just sprayed her with water. How about using shampoo that smells nice and putting a little bow in her hair!PATHETIC service.Staff who clearly don’t care giving your dog back to you with a dirty face. And then giving a lame excuse as to why it’s still dirty.Please hire people who care.Management open your eyes!Will never return or recommend to anyone.

This is NO reflection on the groomers who work there. Please don't advertise walk-in nail care services if you're going to regularly tell people they need to come back hours later. I'm happy to make an appointment ahead of time, before I've already loaded my dog in the car and driven across town.

Wide selection and good prices. I recommend the Dog training there. My pup is 9months and in advanced class now and it was so worth it. It teaches you how to teach your dog. You need to train your dog but the program is really helpful to learn how to control your dogs behavior.

Have you ever had a teacher that when that individual walked into the classroom you felt excited for that day's lesson. Taking classes with Scott W. is the same feeling. He is an outstanding trainer. Not only does he teach us commands but he commands the respect of the classroom. He is well versed in dog training through his many years of experience teaching. He puts to ease our worries when it comes to training. Scott has the heart of a teacher (which is what you want when taking dog classes). We have just graduated from Puppy training and are excited for the next step (intermediate) with Scott. My puppy has learned so much from Scott. I highly recommend taking a (if not all) classes with him. 12/10 would recommend!

A place where you can find nice people who work to help you, like Sumer she always is available to help you and help kids to understand what is in the store.Here you can find from fish to snakes and all kind of food for your pets, did i said also toys.Today was a sad day for my son, he want to use his 25 cents to adopt a dog, yes today is an adoption day. Hope if you see this you can come to see all available dogs.

Love their grooming salon. Michele does the grooming on our dog. He always comes out looking like a show dog. And he sure loves her. The people who work at PetSmart are really the best. My wife and I always enjoy shopping there.

We had a lousy experience at this Petsmart. We purchased the largest Purina cat food bag available at the store last week. When we got home, there were webs throughout the food and worms. It was disgusting and we took pictures as evidence. When I called the store for a refund, the manager, Shannon, told me I had to return the infested bag to the store. I had already thrown the disgusting bag away because I didn't want it in my house or my car. She told me they would not refund me for the product (which was an expensive product as it was the largest size bag available) unless I returned the bag. I told her I would share the photos with her, but that was not enough. I will not shop there again and I recommend you shop elsewhere as well. They do not treat their customers with decency when they have inconvenienced them and stolen their money. Also, beware of the condition of the food you are purchasing! I have included a photo of the disgusting web-infested food.

Very clean and organized. Prices are well within the range of competition. I've never had a bad experience here . I like that purchases earn you points that convert to cash. A nice extra perk. No shipping charge. You can see what you are buying. Great, friendly, helpful staff.

Took my Shitzu for grooming today bath and cut they were unable to complete service because my dog was stressed they were only able to bath him. Why did they charge me 42 dallors!!! No nail trim, no ear cleaning and he is still wet! They took 10 dallors off when I went back to complain!!! I was charged 32 dallors plus tax to wet my dog!!! We've been going there for many years this is not how loyal customers should be treated!!

I want to say thanks to Matt in the fish section. My 5 year old and 2 year goldfish suddenly started acting sick with bloody streaks on their fins and Matt showed me what medicine to buy and instructed me on setting up a quarantine tank to treat them. Now they are all better and swimming around great. Totally back to their normal healthy selves.

Great selection of products. Love the buy 2 treats get the 3rd sales prices vary. Everytime you shop you earn treat points its amazing how fast that turns into savings too.The food selection is good and fairly priced. I especially love when they have a sale on pet beds.

I came here to buy fish for my aquarium and I have to write a review just to talk about the aquarium specialist who helped me. His name is Ray and he was so helpful! He really knows his stuff and has several amazing tanks if his own (he showed me pictures). He gave me great advice while being totally friendly, professional and non-judgmental. I highly recommend talking to Ray for all your fish related needs! Thanks Ray!

They don't have ferrets and for this I applaud them. Ferrets should not be sold in big box pet stores. If you want to adopt a ferret, find a breeder or a ferret rescue. Don't give into your kids if your irresponsible children are begging for this kind of animal. They are much more difficult to care for and train than cats or dogs.The employees are nice and helpful. My only complaint is the limited selection of freshwater fish. Their tanks are nice and clean, but all you get to choose from usually are your typical mollies, guppies, tetras, mystery snails, goldfish, etc. I've never seen loaches in that store, they don't carry cichlids as far as I'm aware, and when they have shrimp they're usually uninteresting colors, your typical ghost or cherry shrimp, and most of the time they don't have them.They seem to regularly have pet adoptions on the weekends, I see kittens and cats there all the time. They also have pet training and dog grooming but I can't vouch on the quality of either. The store seems pretty clean and orderly though.

Took our dog to be groomed today, and it was a positive experience all around. Even though she is a fearful animal, she came through the process very well. The groomer did not use the blow-dryer and took the extra time to towel and kennel dry her. Highly recommended!

Extremely poor service. Tamara was very rude. There were scabs all over my puppy’s ears after she groomed him. She overcharged me from the original price she had given me. It also took 4 and a half hours and my puppy was very traumatized and he has been itching himself ever since. Never going back.

Very nice and clean store. Everyone to that works there is helpful. They are also very good at running a store with everything that is going on in the world right now. I give all the people who work here a very thank you for doing a great job. Also the layout of the store is very good too. I feel safe going in there because the 6ft they got type with then the store to show you where you should be. Very good store 👌
