*** BIG ISSUES WITH THE DG COUPON SYSTEM!!***Update: Lowered my rating from 5*, bcs the DG coupons are very "WONKY"!!They are offered, in the app, then, at the register, there are ALWAYS problems using them!😞 And, most of the time, the cashier doesn't know how to fix the issue!!I was given the $20.00 off earned coupon, for making 3 QUALIFYING $25+ purchases within the specified time period. I'm sure that I had more than 3, but, either way, the coupon NEVER went through, I had to RETURN the next day, but I missed the manager. Plus, I tried to use the $20 coupon on the last day (9/30, when it finally became AVAILABLE to me)... it didn't go through and the cashier didn't know how to use it. I was told to return the next day, and, of course, it was NO LONGER in my app, so I missed out on a $20 savings!!Now, back to the regular coupons, they don't always get AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED, like they should, especially since they are already "clipped" in the app!! Also, the way they are listed on the receipt, you really can't tell if your coupon ACTUALLY came off!! It is DEDUCTED from each INDIVIDUAL item, instead of just being listed, STRAIGHT FORWARD, at the end. If you're giving me $5 off $25, just list the $5 deduction at the bottom, before the total!! EVERY Customer I've spoken to feels the same way... they get very frustrated with the coupon system!PLEASE UPDATE this issue in the app!!And, I'm sorry to say, but you never know what MOOD an employee will be in.... even as a regular, at times, you are treated with rudeness, or indifference!! At times, you feel like you are bothering them, when you need help!!

Great great prices on dog food and the male staff are very helpful with no attitudes - Don't ask the female staff workers for help - parking isn't a problem and the store has almost anything you could think of. The female staff could be less flirty with the male customers, especially the ones with a spouse.

Plenty of parking, not crowded. Generally well stocked. Office / stationary supples were not full and a bit disorganized. Not a big deal, although the rack of folders, of which i was looking for was marked 2 for a dollar, but were in fact .89cents each. Not a show stopper by any means, just a sample of the disorganized aisle. 5 dollar for a 12 pack of angel soft toilet paper is always a good deal.

Manager is professional and hospitable to customers... Just had bad luck with employees that don't show up or want to work. This could be a great opportunity for someone who cares enough about their work ethics and dependability. Even just to work a few hours a day. If I needed a job, I wouldn't hesitate to work with this manager! Great job Fran!

The store was great had to like great prices there was a the cashier was very polite help me do my bags I think the cashiers name is Erik Clark that's the whole reason I gave you a 5-star rating because on how polite this young gentleman was when I checked out he's the hardest worker I've ever seen there the other workers that I seen their would say that I was at checkout and still going to come over this gentleman that works there are card came over and helped me right away tell me if I needed help to get my bags out in the car he would more than happy we help me by the other cashiers in a store we're doing nothing Eric Clark is the best worker you guys ever hired he always putting items that come in on the shelf and being a cashier at the same time when I have seen your other workers just stand there talking Erik Clark always try to makes the store look good and he's a very polite young gentleman he even will try to help you find an item that you cannot find he'll go to show you where it is

Its what you would expect, good prices and a nice random selection of items. Every time i walk through i find something new that i need, which can be good & bad i suppose. Friendly staff, and as clean as one would expect it to be. It has tight aisles, but that is due to a huge stock.

I am so tired of this store trying to over charge the customer. I went shopping and purchased Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. The price on the shelf was $2.85. They rang up $3.00 at the register. I told the person at the counter the shelf said $2.85. That person sold the cinnamon rolls to me for $2.85.I have been back since and the shelf price is still $2.85, and the rolls are still ringing up for $3.00. This is not the first time, or even second time Dollar General has tried to over charge me. I should not have to check my receipt every time I shop there. They still have not corrected the problem.I stopped buying Pillsbury cinnamon rolls there since I found them at Hannafords for less than $2.85.

Store always has New items every day for most. I enjoy just browsing and always find something to buy. Most prices are great. Helpful sales people who are doing a awesome job.

When they have a good crew working they are great the familiar faces are most helpful other time you could wait at a register for 30 min and walk out with half the store you hands not saying no one is watching nor am I recommending shoplifting however working in retail I feel as though there should always be someone in sight of their register

I go there all the time but no matter what time you go it’s a mess on top of that 1 cashier and other employee is either outside smoking or in aisle texting mean while the line is long down aisle..never can u run in and out be prepared to wait on line 20 minutes or more

I buy my omeprazole there. Is about 5 dollars cheaper than the supermarkets. The people who work there are generally very nice. There are so many things you can buy to do crafts or organize ones home.

Clothes were dirty look like vomit/ bowels smeared on clothes and they still will sell it to you at regular prices. I believe because they know visitors will have no other choice but to purchase just to see their loved ones at shawangank facility.

Went in today with a list of 4 things, mind you not crazy things wrinkle release witch hazel and sparkling water. First off couldn't get around the store due to ship ment carts every where that are blocking all the isles mind you it's 2 pm and there are too associate in the store no one at the register a man waited 10 min and the one associate I saw was texting while leaning against a shipment cart the store has gone so down hill it's not funny empty messy shevels no clear walk way it's embarrassing I'd rather drive the 5 min to the one in plattikill now

Every time I go there the aisles are so crowded with boxes of inventory, there's little, if any, room to maneuver. Also, many shelves are messy with some price tags missing.

Terrible. I would give it zero stars if I could. The store is terribly unorganized and management is rude. They refused to sell a case of beer to my 46 year old mom because her license was expired. Since when does an expired license have ANYTHING TO DO with the date of birth?

Too messy. Nothing is ever in the same place. Not enough employees. Either you have too much in store or not enough. Can't get shopping cart through isles.

Too dirty unorganized stuff everywhere and slow in their no extra cashiers nothing on the shelf’s isn’t put back and your store is too dirty and too much I won’t ever go back their again just stop being too lazy do your job if you don’t liked that job just quit
