The entire staff treats our pup like she is one of their own. I cannot recommend them enough! Jay is the ONLY groomer for our girl - it’s perfection every time. Penelope loves going to daycare at Pet Story, she’ll literally hop on her two hind legs anxiously trying to get to the front door! They’ve got a great team -Kara, Carlos & the groomer are all amazing.P/s they’ve got quite a selection of dog food, treats etc not to mention the cutest home baked doggy cakes for your fur babies’ parties

Pet Story is amazing! The staff is kind, patient, friendly and very knowledgeable about the grooming process and the products that they sell. My dog Abby has been going to Pet Story every 6-7 weeks for about 2 years now and she runs to the back of the store to meet her groomer every single time we arrive. Jane pets Abby and Abby kisses her before it’s grooming time! There has never been a cut or a knick on my dog. I mention this because Abby is very sweet, but can be a challenge to groom. When Jane is not available I have used other groomers and they are all professional and exceptional. I feel at completely at ease leaving my fur baby with the Pet Story family.

Okay but this is the cutest and most professional place I’ve seen ever!!!! I am so happy with how they took care of my cat. From when I walked in I was greeted nicely, I was verbally guided step by step the process of how the grooming service will go and I was given honest advice as to what my cat looked like she needed and did not need which saved me cash! They are not business first but fur-friend first always! Go to Pet Story Mineola for all your pet needs, really!!! <33 :))) p.s. I love the cute little accessory they give your pet with a grooming services!!

I’ve been taking my almost 6 year old Australian Shepherd mix here for almost 2 years now. They have always been so friendly and provided great grooming services. My furbaby, Cersei, is not the best with grooming, but they always manage to make her look so gorgeous, and for that, I will always appreciate their staff! I recently welcomed a new addition in Sept 2023, Aegon, and he has been there for multiple grooming sessions, daycare, and even was boarded there for a week. I recommend Pet Story to as many people as possible. They treat my babies like their own and they always come home so happy and looking their best!Pet Story is a one stop shop for all your four legged friends needs. Their front desk staff (especially Daeman!) and groomers (thank you Anna!) are so amazing and knowledgeable, and their store is stacked with any and everything your furbaby would need.Again, I 100% would recommend Pet Story of Mineola!

I brought my puppy here for her first grooming. Annie groomed her so beautifully and she and a gentleman came out first to discuss in detail what I wanted and to make sure my puppy wouldn’t b traumatized because she had a few mats. I will definitely bring her back again.

I have met my forever pet store! The store manager Damon was soooooo nice and sweet to my puppy. They were so accommodating and friendly! I have had so many bad experiences and I’ll forever go there. It was my first experience at “ pet story”. My dog was treated beautifully. As was I. The groomer was very communicative about what we were going to do for the dog. And the execution was incredible. So I am very happy and I will be back. And I recommend this place for your dog.

This was the worst experience ever. When I picked up my dog from grooming, something felt off. Upon closer examination, I saw that piece of his paw pad is literally nicked. Multiple lacerations throughout his body and his ear. My puppy was barking like crazy when I came to pick him up, which is very unusual, despite him being hyped. The groomer was not welcoming at all, read so many positive comments about her but clearly some were paid if not all. Anna was the groomer that took care of my dog, she was not welcoming, and even carried my dog like a suitcase when taking him to the back to get groomed. No support on chest, and almost choked my dog on the spot, after I heard him wheezing. I used to go here to buy regular pet supplies but the grooming was terrible. After coming home, my dog was hiding from us and resting in unusual places like underneath the bed or couch, which never happened before. When I try to play with him, he tucks his tail and runs away, which NEVER happened until I took him here for grooming. To the owner of the store: I love your place and you guys have great product, but please make sure the groomers are doing their job properly.

Highly recommend!!! Everyone at Pet Story is so welcoming and kind, both staff and groomers. They do an amazing job bathing and grooming my Malshi. A little on the pricey side, but worth every penny. Convenient location, parking, and easy to book an appt online. They take such good care of the dogs, and have tons of patience. My lil guy is not scared to stay there unlike other places. I fear he was mistreated at our prior groomer because he used to freak out & not want to stay, and then he'd be uncontrollably cry-barking when I came back to pick him up. He doesn't act like that at Pet Story, he's always super happy when I come back to get him. Only place we will go now!Since Google only allows 1 review, I'm updating my original one to add that we've been back to Pet Story many times. All of the staff is gracious and kind, and the groomers do a wonderful job. They are always patient and understanding with my nervous lil guy...New photos added also of his latest cut.

So happy I found this place for Bellini’s grooming. Everyone is so kind and welcoming! Clara does her grooming and does an amazing job everytime! Brought my German Shepherd George to Pet Story for basic grooming. This is first time getting groomed by a professional and my first time having some else groom him. Fantastic service, polite, friendly and professional. Best dog groomers by far! Would highly recommend. Great services for great prices. Oh can’t forget those treats. Will definitely be back in the future.

I take my Yorkie there for full grooming services. The staff is super friendly and the groomers always talk to you to make sure your pet gets the haircut you want. My dog is very nervous and jumpy, and in the past at other places, he’d come home with choppy or uneven haircuts. At Pet Story never! They’re super detailed, and make sure my dog looks his best! Could not recommend enough!!! 🐾

Bambina and I love coming here, the owner and the staff are super friendly.I believe they have everything, almost like a one stop shop for all your pets need! In case you don't see something, all you have to do is ask and they are very happy to help you with everything.Bambina loves their own homemade dehydrated treats from chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and so much more, and have no preservatives in the treats.They have sample treats for your pets at the counter and that's an extra bonus.They have various brands of food offering kibbles to rawmix.They offer grooming, daycare, boarding...etcOh yes and the place is very clean.I recommend this store to everyone and I'll promise you will be very happy with Pet Story!

My dog Anna loves Pet Story! And so do we. She used to fear being groomed. The grooming team at Pet Story are professional and kind. I can’t say enough about the care taken. Anna loves her groomer, coincidentally named Anna!This clean store is a dog paradise featuring a wide range of products. We rely on the extremely knowledgeable store manager forgreat advice about our dog’s health and diet. The team at the front desk are so helpful and enthusiastic.We are so glad we found Pet Story Mineola and grateful to the staff there who give such great care to our dog Anna!

I've taken my puppy here since she was 4 months old, and she's always looked great! The workers at the desk as well as the groomers are extremely friendly and you can tell they love dogs. My dog always smells great for weeks after a visit here.

Great store… all the things a dog owner would ever need. Good selection & fair prices. Damon and the rest of staff are knowledgeable and helpful… groomers did a great job with our 4 pups…Wanted to update my earlier review… been taking my pups to doggy daycare the last few weeks and it’s been working out great. We go to the Mineola location - spotless clean & they take good care of my pups… definite recommend….

I recently brought my 11 months puppy to them to have her FIRST ever grooming experience. I avail their Full Grooming Service but I was not satisfied. Her groomer was Hailey and I would rate her a 6/10. She did not do a good job cutting because it was not even and she also did not cut my dog's nails, which obviously needed a trim. My puppy came home with a lot of shaking. Maybe due to trauma. She had diarrhea for 3 days and vomitted. I do not know what they did to her because she's never been like this. I paid around $100+ with tax and I would say it is not worth the money. Very expensive for this type of treatment and outcome. Not happy.

Pet Story in Mineola is fantastic! My dog used to be terrified of getting groomed, would whine and pull to get away from the first two that we tried. Now, she's pulling me into Pet Story to see her favorite groomer, Anna. Everyone that works here clearly has a deep love for pets, and they treat everyone with so much respect. The day care/boarding is great too. Really can't beat this one stop shop for all your pet needs!

What a beautiful store! They had everything a pet lover could want and more. I’m very excited for my next trip back to purchase some coats for my pups. They had such a better collection than any pet store I’ve been to! Also the staff was incredibly friendly and you could tell how much they love animals. Recently found Pet Story while driving on Jericho Tpke in Mineola. Very clean, staff professional and offering top shelf pet products. Grooking service looked good. They have foggy daycare and boarding with live web cam so you can view pet st any time. Also offers dog walk to ge them put of the room.

Amazing selection for food and treats!! They even carry Stella & Chewy, Primal, FreshPet, Bones & Co, Open Farms and so much more!! Cutest cookies I've seen and they even have birthday items!! Daycare and boarding is also offered for small/medium dogs, as long as they're neutered/spay.
