We had lobster tails prepared for Christmas Eve , and the prepared twice baked potatoes. All handled by Brianna the manager in the fish dept. she was fabulous and everything was delicious.

Open relatively late which is convenient for a grocery store. The manager I spoke to was helpful to me finding a few items that could logically be placed in a few different departments, like vinegar for instance which can be a cleaning item or a food item. Friendly staff, they seem well coached and knowledgeable, I don't have a negative thing to say about anyone in the store. My only issue is that some items were priced incorrectly. I understand there are virtually countless items and it would be near impossible for everything to be correct. However, if a 4 pack of cider I really want to try is marked at 9 dollars and rings up at 16, and I have two in my cart, which is also full of other items, it becomes an issue. The cashier apologized for the discrepancy, and it happened again a few more times where there were 10 for 10 dollar deals clearly marked on the shelves, and the items rang up for 1.50 or something, and eventually that adds up. So, in my opinion, it's a clean, professional, well run store with a great staff, but my one issue is that the prices on the shelves need to match those at the register. I don't believe this was done on purpose by any of the employ, but I think the inventory database and SKU numbers need to be updated and checked more often. Otherwise, nothing but good things to say about this store. Appreciate you guys.Updated to five stars, returned for more groceries last night. I bought these ciders last night and mentioned the issue to an employee at the register, really wish I remembered his name so the manager/owner can know he was a really nice guy, he double checked the prices, had a friendly conversation with me while I was checking out and he was investigating the issue, and the cider rang up at 11.99 instead of the marked 5.99, he went ahead and apologized for the mistake and honored the marked price. I'm not complaining, I understand this happens in literally every business, and it's possible I just got unlucky the first time and found one item out of thousands that was marked wrong. The cider is in the attached photos. I want to make clear I don't believe this was marked incorrectly out of avarice or any sort of desire to beat the customer. I believe, due to extensive work with databases, and inventory, and computers, and pricing items personally for McDonald's through their restaurant file maintenance system, that this was an honest mistake, and instead of arguing with me this employee made me feel welcome in the store and corrected the mistake at the register. One detail he gave me is that someone called out and he was there later than his shift, didn't seem to be annoyed by that at all, and was more than pleasant. I believe this employee should be commended for his attitude and his understanding, I was in the store around 7:30 pm or so and we were at the self checkout section near the frozen foods, this is the kind of employee I will always go out of my way to make their effort and diligence visible to their superiors, because people who do their jobs correctly and go out of their way to also be nice people in their customer service, deserve to be noticed and rewarded for that behavior. I'm also autistic and he did not treat me differently than a neuro typical person in any way which is not my usual experience, and that above all else is why I am trying to help management locate this employee and reward him in some way. I attached the photos to provide some information you guys might need to correct this issue at the database level, however price chopper does that. Thanks again to this employee, the store, and the team that put that employee in front of me, as well as for responding to my first review with aplomb and expedience, and offering to look into this issue to correct it. This is actual customer service and also deserves better visibility as customer service is being vacuumed out of most retail today. Stay professional and warm like this and price chopper will be my preferred destination for groceries. Much appreciated 👍

Price Chopper has the best produce department in Middletown. They have a wide selection & the fruit is always amazing & holds up for about a week at home. Other retailers in the area offer the same fresh fruits and vegetables, but they seem to go bad almost overnight! Price Chopper also has an AMAZING bakery. They make everything fresh daily & they usually start putting the bagels & donuts out around 6:00am. My family and I love going to the bakery first thing in the morning & getting fresh bagels while they're still hot.

I would not be going back to this place to shop for groceries. My son walked in last night and bought $95 worth of (5) x box gift cards. When he got home to redeem he was only able to redeem 3 out of the 5 Xbox gift cards. This morning I looked over my son 2 receipts and seen that one gift card was scanned twice and they scanned and activated a totally different Xbox while handing him a gift card that wasn’t scanned. When I go in the store manage (fair skin lady with platinum blonde hair) has an attitude when I told her $15 is not the only amount u owe. The card that we couldn’t redeem, I asked a sale rep to see if the card came from their store. He went and checked and said the card is part of their inventory. The last person I spoke with was Alison (she claim to be a senior manager). When she approached me, I was on the phone and told the person on the other line that I will call u back because I have to retell the reason why I came in. She goes and tell me I don’t have to retell my story because before she came to me she was looking at the camera. she told me she seen in the my son he left with more than 5 cards. I asked to see the video she said I can once it gets seized. I was going to call my son because if he left out with more than 5 cards that’s stealing because his receipts show 5 cards. She said no don’t call him u don’t have to do that and that if he left with more than 5 cards that not stealing. I proceed to say, in my household that’s considered stealing. She goes and say it was probably innocent. My rebuttal was that I dont raise my son that way. When I got a hold of my son and his grandmother (who took him yesterday to price chopper) they said he only had 5 cards. One sales rep told me that they seen the rep that help my son at the register and they seen the rep on the camera take a card and “put it back. Guess what, I was told to leave when I said they were stealing from us. Issue wasn’t resolved.If she came from the back from watching the video (she claimed) and if he did steal why not show me the video of him leaving out with more than 5 gift cards (5 gifts is what he paid for) or call the cops.You won’t see my shopping here ever again. Alison and the platinum blonde (who they claim were managers) are rude, doesn’t allow you to speak or at least didn’t let me speak without them catching an attitude or being combative (even when Price Chopper is at fault).If you have teenagers, especially those of minorities, tell them to avoid Price Chopper at all cost. They will be targeted.

This is my favorite grocery store in Middletown. Quality goods at decent prices and with the Advantage Card you really do save in addition to accumulate points to use for rewards (MasterChef cookware is my favorite) or $5 at checkout. I find the deli section to be lacking somewhat in variety though the people who work there are nice.

Good prices if you sign up for the AdvantEdge card (free), and a decent selection. Not a high class place, but if you are looking for cheap groceries its pretty good

Girls at register are more worried about there nails and talking with the other girls don't even acknowledge you very rude and don't make you aware you have to purchase bags for your groceries until you are already checked out then leave your stuff just laying there for you to pick up and try and carry out

The service and quality of the product here is amazing! I go a half hour out of my way just to shop here when I have the opportunity. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. Both the seafood and meat sections are abundant clean and well stocked. It is truly a pleasure to shop at the store.

My local deli closed due to retirement. Thought I'd give Price Chopper a try.Great big disappointment. Get there and ask for my order at the deli area.Says my order doesn't sound familiar. I almost lost it.She finally comes out with my sandwich and wraps.I ordered the braided hero.It comes with Roast Beef and turkey.I noted I didn't want the beef.Please sub salami instead.Well...to my surprise I got the beef.The sandwich was dry as could be.I couldn't see the sandwich as it was so wrapped up tight.Didnt notice till I got to my outdoor party.All I can say is never again.Thanks for the awful sandwich.Ruined my grand daughters birthday party.

Typically because of location I tend to utilize a competitors store on the other side of town for my groceries. I was very disappointed today while shopping. I could not purchase toilet paper because there was hardly any available and the options very slim. Other stores seem to have more than enough while Price Chopper is sorely lacking. I was also very frustrated by the checkout process. It was disorganized and chaotic and my wait to check out 15 items took almost 25 minutes. The staff are always pleasant which made my delay tolerable.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I asked for a cake & got a nightmare! We thought it was a joke as we’ve waited for our real cake to come out but this was our actual cake! The top pic is what I wanted, even provided a photo as reference. The bottom pic is what we got. Needless to say I did receive a full refund after all the embarrassment of this hideous cake but that wasn’t even my point. This is not acceptable to hand a customer as a so-called professional!

This is one of the few supermarkets I have been to whether generic options are definitely high quality, just like their brand name counterparts. The prices are very competitive, a nuchal walk away with a lot of groceries for a very small amount of money. F your budget only allows you to get groceries to a certain level, this is a store definitely worth checking out.

Price chopper has good pricing only when items are on sale. Some of their prices are way out of line and i just dont get it. However, the store is always clean and their associates are always helpful. I just wish they had better competitive pricing.

Went in for COVID 19 booster, had appointment and I was the only customer there and was made to wait 40 minutes for pharmacist to provide shot - Sonia. Refused to provide card with booster info for fear that I would commit fraud with additional card. Had a previous booster at CVS pharmacy with excellent service and was provided card. Very uncomfortable experience and disturbed by insinuation that I would commit fraud. Returning to CVS for future service. I also noticed that management appears to only provide responses to positive reviews which explains complaints not being addressed. Sad as they seem like a good place to go.

Left three stars a week ago, returned today 01/02/21 stood in the "designated area" for the line (Reg #7) which had a customer in front of me but no light on, then again two other registers also had lights out with customers on line. Woman (employee) ringing out the customer in front of me, looks at me through the process, she finishes with the customer and then nothing, says nothing like I am sorry this registered is closed like looked at me straight in my face and turned away. Went to the next register also no light on rang out, asked customer service what the employee's name was, Jen, her name is Jen well Jen needs to revisit training and customer service. Honestly I would have been fine if she would have mentioned the register was closed anytime within the 5 minutes I was standing there. Customer Service did offer their "sincere" apologies when I inquired of the employee's name and let her (Customer Service) that they were a three star and are now a one star. There are plenty of options to grocery shop in Middletown, consumers appreciate being appreciated!

Very clean and spacious! Always great seasonal deals for decorations! They also have large variety of whatever you need and they have a large amount of self checkouts! Parking is generous!
