Took my Daisy girl here for her first ever grooming appointment. i booked for a furminator deluxe at 11:30 with Malique. He took the time to address any concerns i had and was very gentle and welcoming with her. She was done in about an hour and a half and was so fresh & clean when i picked her up! her fur felt 10x softer. her nails were clipped so nicely as well, very happy with my first experience & already booked my next appointment with him. Thank you so much!

I had my old boy groomed by Sam and what an amazing job! Time was taken to talk to me and let me know about walk-ins for keeping up with his nails. I highly recommend Sam

Pet lovers be aware! I took my healthy young dog to Petsmart for grooming. When I picked my dog he was limping. The next morning my dog could not walk. I took my dog to the hospital and the Dr. Said my dog had a spinal injury. Possibly a result from falling from a high table. I asked Petsmart if my dog fell off a table while in their care. And they denied anything happen. My dog’s health started deteriorating and I had to put my dog down. My entire family and my kids lost our be loved dog due to Petsmart’s negligence. Don’t trust them with your pet.

Inexcusable amount of dead fish in the tanks. There were few tanks with fish in them but the ones that were populated had at least one dead fish each. Even the other fish are eating them. The water and glass are dirty and smell not to mention the fish are over populated. This is a disgrace to animal husbandry.

My two Miniature Pinchers had a great couple of hours getting groomed on Tuesday. The women at the shop were amazing with them. I recommend you asking for Amy. A awesome 5 star experience.

This place is very good to find what you're looking for as there is a wide selection of goodies you can get for your animals. There is also a nice selection of animals you can purchase for yourself such as hamsters, guinea pigs and various types of birds and more. Some Items can be a bit overpriced but that's your decision as you can compare prices to other retailers and online markets

Call the store spoke to the manager which she was very rude. By the way. Told her that this is the third hamster we got that died because of a breathing issue. She told us that it was our fault. The hamster wasn’t breathing properly because we weren’t taking care of him right. Which was not true by any means. Do not buy any animals from Petsmart. They always sell them sick.

I’m giving 5 stars for your Bissell carpet cleaner, in a very depressing time I have properly cleaned for half a year, pink/white carpet, pets (cat and dog) and myself with my dirty shoes. I did two rounds, very thoroughly, took me about two hours. Not only did my room glow again but the carpet fluffed back up as well. This morning the carpet is also fairly dry with the help of my dehumidifier. The woman behind the counter was also very nice to me, thank you to her and I will be thanking her later upon returning after 24 hours. I will definitely be coming back in the future for it again if I don’t end up buying my own.

Groomers are definitely not good and very expensive. I got my dog a furminator bathe & blow dry. $100. He was still damp when I put him in the car & is still shedding. I had to re-brush him myself. The point of a furminator is to take all the extra hair off. It was awful Not my first time using Petsmart, the other locations gave my dog back dry and not releasing tons of hair. Will never use again!

Always friendly, but occasionally lacks what I am there for. Additionally I have issues with their app and getting points for my purchases. I have to call corporate to fix it but who has time for that? I wish it could be fixed in the store. All in all, a great place to shop for your pet...

I like that you can bring in your pet. The associates are friendly and welcome you to the store. I was dropping my sister's dog off at the Vet. Which is located in the back of the store opposite the entrance/exit. They also offer grooming services here. When I was leaving I noticed they had some cats "vacationing" from the local animal shelter. They were there to adopt. If I had a pet of my own I would recommend PetSmart. **Bonus they have a pet coral so you can get to know your potential forever friend 🤗

I took my 1 year old Australian/Husky mix to be groomed. It was for a simple bath and brush, which included nail trim, ear cleaning, trim around the paws and butt. They upsold my wife a nail grinding as well. When we picked up the dog they said he was a "good boy" but they could not manage to cut his nails (or grind them), cut the fur from between his paws or butt, plus his fur was matted in a number of places which it was not going in. No idea if they cleaned the ears and butt. This was my dogs first "professional" grooming and was so disappointing. Take your dog someplace else, pay a little more, don't settle for subpar services.

How was PetSmart?Intact: the ceiling was not leaking, the walls were erect and at no point had any occupants fallen through the floor.Whether there was sufficient staff to both stock and sell pet supplies is a matter for debate.

Do not bring your pets to this place if you care about them. Had nothing but a great experience for 4 years with my oldest dog but over the last 3 months the staff and management is nothing short of a nightmare. Had my appointment cancelled 10 minutes before time and when I walked in on two separate occasions. I drove 30 minutes because I loved using the specific groomers here who must now be gone. Unsafe environment for staff and dogs. Will never support this business or grooming salon again, poor conflict resolution from manager who doesn’t seem to care about your dogs. Unprofessional staff and poor customer service.

I love PetSmart! I always find something for my dog there. My dog loves the treats and they have the dog food he likes. They could use a better assortment of dog clothes tho. The clothes run small even though they say large.

Horrible experience visiting this store. This store seems to be hiring not so friendly people. Never have I ever gone to a pet store where anyone is not willing to help. It put a bad taste in my mouth seeing how the world is becoming more and more for self than anything. Pet stores usually have the friendliest people. Living in New York it is a breath of fresh air to visit a store where they have the friendliest most inviting people. My experience here was when I brought my pitbull to their store. He had a small accident on the floor. I stood by it to make sure no one was around to step on it. I went to grab the wet floor sign and put it by it. I waited by it again for the line nearby to move forward because that’s where the cleaning station was. When I went to move my dog away from stepping in it I was immediately put in the lime light by a worker who told me to clean it up and made me aware of where the cleaning station is. I was a little confused as to why she spoke to me in a demeaning manor but I said, “ok” and continued to stand by the wet floor sign until the line moved forward again. I went to grab the paper towels and cleaned it up according to the instructions on the bottle they have there and sell by Nature’s Way. I went on and continued to look for what I went there for. They didn’t have what I wanted but I still had to grab my boy a toy just for the heck of it. After I had my receipt in hand I was again spoken to by the worker who tried to demand that I clean up my “mess.” I said that I had no time to and left. I don’t understand how some stores hire these type of people who study you enough to notice that my dog had an accident but not study the fact that things were cleaned up according to the instructions on the bottle. I don’t know what else they expect from a customer and someone who doesn’t work there. For everything that I had done to rectify the fact that my dog was being a dog at a pet store it’s very off putting knowing that your being watched and not helped. It also shows that their workers don’t know about their own products. I don’t think I’ll ever set foot in this store again especially since there’s other pet stores (that did have the stock that I was looking for) 2-3 minutes down the road.

Generally has everything you need but the cleanliness of the store is much to be desired!!! Upon entering the store, the last thing I wish to do is smell dog urine!!! The rugs at the entry definitely are not cleaned as they should be!!

I love The Rachel Ray dog food line because they have an actual chef crafting a delicious and nutritious meal for our dogs. I’ve even tried the chicken with veggies recipe and it tasted similar to my grandmas chicken pot pie.. so you know it’s GOOD. My dog’s bowel movements have even been more regular, it’s like he took some of my Metamucil out of the cabinet. 10/10 would recommend. #ThanksRachel

More in stock than in previous years (pre-2022), and the staff are usually responsive. The High-turnover environment has led to issues with grooming saloon staffing and fewer appointments being honored due to the groomers leaving. Pet-care areas are taken care of, and the animals are respected as much as they can be with the time employees are allowed to spend caring for them. Callous and jaded attitudes prevail during the holiday seasons and high traffic times due to poor management practices and a lack of empathy given to junior employees. You should expect short answers and be able to help yourself with product information.

My Maci goes there to get groomed and had Staci twice now. She does amazing work. I will be going to her from now on. The only downside side is that two other girls were there grooming dogs when I went and neither of them acknowledged me for quit some time and not very friendly. Thank you Staci so much!

I don't know where to start. I had the most upsetting, and quite frankly unbelievable, experience with the Fish Dept Manager of the Middletown Store. I have never been prevented from purchasing fish based on the opinions of a store employee before. I felt as thoughI was being racially profiled and unfairly treated. This individual took a simple transaction and escalated it into a highly confrontational interaction, that could have resulted in serious consequences. I was both angered and embarrassed by the way I was spoken to and the general lack of professionalism she displayed when interacting with me, publicly. I have owned aquariums for over 20 years, which is probably longer than she has been alive, so I haveI quiete a bit of experience in this area myself... and to think that this incident all began because I was trying to purchase 2 clown loach, which she stated could not be housed in the same tank together. I know her not to be corrected because not only have I had 2 in my tank in the past, according to the PetSmart website it is suggested to have more than one in your tank. I will end by saying that I wish I could give a zero star review, but Google is forcing me to give a minimum of 1 star. I will never shop at this location ever again!
