We shop here absolutely all the time. It’s good, quality food, fresh and reliable. The place is clean and well kept, the staff helpful and knowledgeable. It’s pretty much the only supermarket we use since moving here at the beginning of 2021. I tried a few others and was never impressed. Even the online ordering is great, the shoppers almost always pick out good stuff. A few times I got a less than stellar product. I called them and they ran a replacement out to me within an hour or so. Highly recommend!

Absolutely hands down the best customer service ever! I have been in this Hannaford looking for something and; this has happened more than once, an employee will come over and ask me how I am and if I need help in finding anything! Where else does that happen these days? Especially in a supermarket!The food is always fresh and top-notch!

Good grocery store that suffers from being in Middletown. Staff is great. Grocery store is clean. Customers aggressive, especially in the parking lot. As is the rule in Middletown, park a little bit further away from the store to avoid dings and scrapes.

The customer service was rude. The gentleman at the courtesy desk didn't want to help me. He acted like i was a bother. He clearly didn't want to help me. When I asked for a manager, he lied and said he was the manager until later on when the store manager had to be called. The store manager was great and very helpful. However, my overall experience before the store manager came over was horrible. My suggestion is that if you have a problem to just call the store manager right away because the gentleman at the courtesy counter is useless and rude. I would just like to say the store manager was a pleasure to work with and he was very helpful.

Great place to explore new (at least to me) groceries. The place is a smooth operation. I used to be grocery worker so I notice things happening in the store. The management and employees are top notch. Great selection of prepared food at reasonable prices. One minus I have not noticed halloumi. The best cheese needs a place in Hannafords it does not have to be imported

Wonderful store to shop in. The staff is always willing to help and friendly upon entering and exiting.Their produce and meat products are some of the best in the area, compared to Walmart, Aldi, Price Chopper, and ShopRite.Their deals are comparable to the other local stores, if not better sometimes!Their store-made Swiss rolls are to die for! I highly recommend trying them!

Why you ask,we'll they have the best prices in town,buy from local area farms,support the community in different events and donations to local food banks and Salvation army and they support my rabbit rescue and like how my bunnies are certified as therapy bunnies and go help people, and all the employee's are wonderful and helpful, finally the one thing I also like is they don't ask you to join a club to get a lower price, because they are already low and treat all as one big family ,they will not take your info and sell it to tell a marketers

I actually didn't get to eat there, this time, because my dinner companion was unable to show. But I do have to tell you the hostess was so cute she tried to console me and tell me how beautiful I looked. She was so sweet.

Down one Star.... Hannaford USED to have the best produce... sadly, it's been pretty bad since 2020 and is getting ridiculously expensive again; almost 9buck for a more yellow than green Napa (think you call it Chinese) cabbage??? It's been a while since they had their excellent self branded 100+ ounce OJ... Very limited, damaged, or no stock of their exceptional self branded dark roast coffee...Used to drive 28 miles round trip to Hannaford; going to have think twice about the value of such a trek..

Good produce section with organic choices, however I couldn’t find fresh ginger root. Has a decent selection of organic meats. Moderate prices. Self check out for 14 items or less is a real plus if you need to get in and out quickly. Nice floral section.

Wonderful shopping experience. Have been shopping there for over 2 years now, staff is always friendly and helpful, cashiers are super pleasant and very approachable. Lots of fresh selections, from a large produce and bakery, to hot food and freshly cut cold cuts and meats. Great group.

I've shopped at Hannaford since living in Maine. 2% savings on store brands, often bumped up, special discounts from time to time when shopping reaches certain totals. I'm so glad to find a full size store again after the micro Wappingers Falls address.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the company has terrible app customer service, they actively try to prevent you from using coupons, and this store is frequently out of basics like whipping cream or Lactaid. Also the produce is generally not very fresh, and packaged with lots and lots of plastic. Overall not a great experience.

In general, I have had good experiences with Hannaford. They are my preferred grocer for meats but bot seafood or produce. Today, Janet was my cashier and she was fabulous. Friendly, helpful and smiled the entire time that I interacted with her and witnessed other's interactions. Grocers like Janet are the difference between good service and great service!!!

A small, terrified dog was found in your parking lot and you refused to let the local shelter check your cameras to see how it got there or if it was dumped? How heartless can management be? I will be reaching out to corporate to ask why Hannaford of Middletown refuses to be a productive and considerate member of this community.

Besides being the closest grocery store to the house, it is always clean, well lit and in good order. All perishible items are displayed and kept in a sanitary and temperature controlled manner. Also, the have the best pharmacy staff around.

Usually I don't shop in hannaford in Middletown but I needed some bananas and apples and a cooked chicken. Most of the produce that I got was not as fresh as ShopRite in Chester. The cook chicken did have a coupon

My experience at Hanford is a bias, indifferent and standoffish attitude toward Black and Brown customers, particularly from the Assistant Manager of Customer Service. Hanford of Middletown, gives that Southern feel, that Black people and their money is not welcome there.

Excellent, love this store. Everything is logically laid out, fresh, quick in and out. Bought steaks and lamb chops which were awesome. Will be back. Prices are right. Way better than whole foods!
