Just finished having our carpeting installed by Floor Coverings International. If we could give 1 trillion thumbs up we would! From start to finish this has been a wonderful experience with everyone at FCI. We cannot say enough about Denise, who took such personal care in our choices, even steering us to a beautiful array of pet friendly carpets. She was honest, forthright with our budget and has such a contagious delightful personality. There was a little stall in the initial carpeting we chose, but then Denise and Deirdre tag-teamed bending over backwards to help us find a better more accommodating choice for our specific needs.Now to the “dream team” of expert installers - Erik and Rob. I have had the pleasure of working with Denise and her team at Floor Coverings International both professionally and personally. Thankfully they have been able to help several of our customers find the flooring they love and follow up with a wonderful install experience. After planning for 2 years and choosing the perfect floor for my own home, we love the result of the beautiful vinyl plank flooring they installed! We certainly gave them a challenge with different sized planks in each box, fun angles, two levels, two sets of stairs, and a large main level but they tackled it like champions! VERY pleased. Flooring is kind of a blind item. You're depending on the knowledge and honesty of the seller. I was impressed with the rep (Ron), who walked me through what was available and gave me a very competitive price for the vinyl planking flooring in my living and dining rooms. The job became problematic when the ripped up carpet made manifest a terribly uneven cement slab. These guys knew exactly how to fix it, and the extra cost was MUCH lower than I'd expected. First a huge thank you and shout out to Denise who was instrumental to our planning and installation, answered my many questions and was lovely to work with. We originally booked Floor Coverings for a fast project, only to find out we had much bigger problems with our slabs and mold than we realized. It took us almost a year to sort out how to fix and afford these issues before we were able to bring in the Floor Covering installation team. And the whole time Denise was patient with our schedule and needs, checking in periodically to see how we were faring, but not pressuring us. They were good enough to honor our original contract despite the massive delay on our end. Denise and her crew lead came to assess the other contractor's work to make sure they had what they needed for a level installation and to answer my questions about sealing in mastic before the install. The installation team was fast, respectful of our space and did a great job installing about 1000 sq feet of our walk out basement. We had a potential layout issue due to some beams, but we talked it out and they found a solution that stuck with the original layout. They actually got hit with the flu, but were great about communicating and rescheduling quickly once they were healthy. Overall a great experience with great communication and patience for a first time home owner with a tricky situation.

Local people with local installers who have been in the business for a while. They showed us samples; we picked what we liked and in about a week we had installation dates. We did two dates because it would have been just too much for four rooms at once. We contracted for furniture removal, old carpet and padding removal, and installation of new padding and carpet. It all went well. About a half day for two rooms. Haul-away was included. Everyone was neat, civil, and they gave me a few minutes to sink some screws in on the plywood flooring to remove squeaking from the plywood becoming loose in spots. New carpet had almost no chemical smell. From walking in cold into the store to the installers driving away-easy! If you are buying, they are selling and installing quality product and they show up when they say they are going to. This was a great buying experience all around.

We have worked with Denise Treacy for many years and have never been disappointed with her recommendations.Recently we needed a backsplash and could not find a pattern we liked and did not find the other stores helpful.Denise said if we could wait she was expecting a pattern that she felt was what we were looking forward. Denise’s selection was spot on and we have received countless compliments on how well the pattern enhanced the kitchen. They were very helpful and they were all very nice. They explained many things about the different types of tile to help us decide what to get, not just color and shape but the actual features of the tile, what can be used for wall or floor, especially shower floor tile. They allowed us to spend as much time as we needed in the showroom to make selections, we never felt rushed. And they had wonderful customer service with the order.

Just had one carpet put down in our basement and one carpet in a bedroom. Ron was very patient when we were deciding. He kept us up to date and delivered in a timely manner. The installers were on time, professional and did an excellent job. They cleaned everything before they left. Definitely recommend them.

Denise Treacy goes above and beyond to help you make great choices and to put it all together. She is like your own private interior decorator. She also will do a lot of the legwork for you as far as meeting you, measuring and setting up everything with your contractor if you have one. She is my right hand in many areas.They have everything from tile to hardwood to vinyl flooring and then some.
