I walked in and got a paper bag to start shopping instead of a basket. The older guy that works there, white facial hair, snatched it out my hand, put the bag back, and told me not to ask me to get a basket. 😂😂😂 I was going to get a bag when I checked out any way... I will still be going in and out of that store 😅😅😅

I asked my husband if he wanted to go to the Dollar general because I needed to buy a baby shower card... so we're walking up and down the aisles and of course we buy more than just a baby shower card and we take the items and go to the checkout and the cashier was friendly and the store was clean so we leave after paying and drive home. When we got home we realized that we had left a couple of items at the store so I called to see if they still had it there and lo and behold they did and we were so happy we went right back to pick up our items and thank the lovely cashier.for holding our items for us.

The products are not worth a $1 sometimes. Other times, you get what you paid for. I purchased an iron that didn’t work from the first time I plugged it in. Overall products, are the cheapest legally sold. The service is extremely poor. I used the bell located on the counter, designated to notify the only staff memeber in the entire building, unloading, stocking, sweeping, just slavery. I didn’t hear anyone answer, so I rang the bell again. Then, a young lady yelled “I’m coming relax”. She was extremely rude, probably due to horrible work conditions that she projects on the customers.Value yourself and don’t come here.

This store was a mess, products scattered all over and items covering the floor and things just thrown on the shelves. I could not even go all the way through the store. This is the most messy store I have ever seen. I do travel all up and down the east coast and have not seen any other DG’s in this disarray before. Sorry but I just left and did not purchase anything, as I always do. Please clean up your store, and also understand being short staffed, but that is when you close a little early and have your staff clean and disinfect the store.

If you are like me, bring only what you plan on spending. I went in looking for 2 Christmas bags. I walked around and picked up so many things. I arrived at the register with an arm full of stuff! My bill was $50 😮. They have all of these great finds!

I came in looking for frames. I didn't have my debit card. So i tried to use andriod pay which i really not familiar with and of course neither was the cashier. She was kind enough to let me put my card in but it didn't work. So i wanted to try in a different register . The other girl wasn't much help. But she also tried. And end up calling her manager to try to help. Instead of him trying to help he instantly had an attitude and talk so rude . I felt like a bum in the street. I am 34 years old and never have curse at someone that works in a store until today. I will be contacted someone above him I been going to this store for over 8 years and now i can never go back. I feel hurt and embarrassed.

This Dollar general on 211 in Middletown is a decent store. They have a staff there that is available for questions. My only problem with this store is that it isn't one of the cleanest stores I've seen

Amazing wherever the company has decided to start getting their clothes from is so much better quality than the original people and the prices are unbeatable especially when they have the buy one get one free sales overalls the great place to get what you need for a reasonable price

It was horrible the place was dirty especially the bathroom was horribly dirty I've never seen a bathroom so disgusting worse then a mechanic shops bathroom. Wish I could attach photos of it. It's against health dept regulations and would get shut down if health dept happens to show up

No sanitizer wipes for the carts. Customers were wearing mask and the 1 employee. Manager was wearing mask below nose which is improper use of face mask.

Pulled up at 8:55 and they locked the doors and said they were closed and walked away from me while still in the store. Poor customer service!!! I already knew what I needed and it was very much so NEEDED! Shame on you

This location is very unorganized and normal product is never in stock. Orders sit in the aisles for days on end blocking the aisles. Management is very poor.
