If you need something for an asian recipe this is the place to go!Large selection of pretty much anything I can think of when it comes to that.We got ingredients for a curry and the lemongrass was excellent!They also sell cooking tools and stationery items .

Was very excited to visit this store, ended up getting literally everything you could want to make your own ramen. Also bought a full sized wood axe there for like $12. Who knows what you can find.

So happy to finally shop here!They had the Kimchi I like in a glass jar with no MSG.It’s like a little Hmart but closer to home.May was at the register and was positive and friendly.I’ll be shopping here often.

I love Asian cuisine/cooking but have always had difficulty finding the correct ingredients in my local grocery store. I visited Da Tang a couple of days ago after it was recommended to me, and was so impressed!! I easily found everything my recipes called for, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. This place will be one of my weekly grocery stops going forward!

Great variety of asian foods, treats and spices. Fresh produce and an assortment of kitchen utensils. Teas and general store type items in the front of the store round out the experience.

Great selection of spices, chips and candy from korea, china and japan. I bought a pound of thinly sliced beef and followed a recipefor Korean Beef Bowl. Dinner is served. 😊

This is the only asian market so we just have to deal with non-english speaking which means you get very little help, if needed. Signs are not for english-only people, unfortunately. I would buy much more if it were, especially since my dog needs certain meat organs not available in other regular markets. But trying to decipher when not in english is time consuming & that is one thing I don't have. They have most of what I need for the humans, great asian produce, great sauces, dumplings, crabmeat for salads, shrimp in wide rice noodles which I really missed not having from nyc, so happy they have it. I wish they would have more NON-MSG choice in dumplings but they do have 1 or 2. All in all, I am VERY thankful they are here & I usually find what I need sans the meat which I don't buy.

Great selection of fresh produce, frozen goods and sauces. Found items I grew up with I would not normally find in a Target or Walmart/Shoprite.Here I can find a wider selection of soy sauce brands, vinegar, rice vinegar, sesame paste, Japanese mayonnaise, instant noodles, frozen udon and more!You can also find saucers, plates, cooking accessories like rice cookers, portable gas stove, hot pot bowl, pans etcI was not disappointed the first time I went and have been back many times since

This is a great little place. They have lots of things here that you can't find anywhere else nearby, and the prices are reasonable. I found some kimchi, burdock root, sweet potato noodles, and bonito flakes. They have fruits and vegetables that you can't find at Western grocery stores. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. As a bonus, they had a choir singing in the back room while I was shopping which sounded beautiful. This is definitely a place I'd go again. Note: They do accept credit cards, but they have a minimum. I remember it being posted clearly by the registers, in case you'd like to check before picking up items.

Such a quiet supermarket but it’s part of the appeal. They had just about anything you’d need from dish ware to hard to find ingredients to make a genuine good tasting Asian dish. Definitely a gem in Middletown

Best asian supermarket in the area, has everything you need to make an authentic asian cuisine dish. The juice isle is my go to, always get the mango juice in the cans. Affordable, inexpensive products. There is a fishy smell in the building but you get used to it if you go enough.

They have everything we need for hot pot! As well as all kinds of unexpected household trinkets and Asian snacks. They have a big car park in the back… and I think the back entrance is the main entrance.

This supermarket is BASED there is no reason to go to ShopRite, Aldi’s, price chopper etc, they have everything you need and such better quality SHOUTOUT to the Chinese!

Very desolate. Google maps brought us to the back entrance which was confusing at first. Went in February. Mostly chinese food. Not alot of variety and mostly packaged items but since there aren't many option in hudson valley it's still nice to have. Had different vegetable then a normal grocery store which is nice. Hoping they have even more variety of fresh vegetable when it's in season.

No more driving to Flushing for Asian items, fresh produce, prepared and ready to eat, with a nice variety of frozen foods. The staff will answer all questions. I will be back in the future and the prices are very competitive.

They have everything your heart could want- a lot more to say so don't forget to help out the small business community! I found and always find what I prefer for my recipes - still learning after a long hiatus. Have a hiatal hernia so spicy Mapo dofu is off the menu for me for a while. (I used to make a lot of spicy dishes in the summer...) They have a lot of rice brands, noodles, sauces and condiments, frozen goods not found elsewhere, bubble tea ingredients, matcha powders- and Korean, Chinese, Japanese, as well regional as goods, teas, cooking tools, appliances, and imported produce- purple yams, shiso, it is a large store so don't get too lost! I never want to leave half the time. Best thing is that this Da Tang storefront is opened later on Fridays for a busy body like myself. No worries, go on down for yourself. They also carry a sushi bar with California and maki hand rolls or sashimi , either can be your pick as long as they don't sell out of your favorites first. Fresh is best so nothing stays around for long- now that is a worthwhile commitment to the community to me. 😁Yes and the only other place I know where those sweet red bean buns are never bare from their shelves. I intend to visit again, hopefully after my hernia is addressed. I cook a lot and taught myself a great deal by now, so I cannot hate good food, the ingredients towards making every dish ( whether to test or fail if I should hit a hurdle) or the joy it brings me to create new dishes in the process... In truth, I also work at a supermarket as a simple packer part time. I can appreciate the care that goes into keeping a system working that brings a smile to someone's face..My fraturanal twin lives down in Flushing Queens so even there, it still feels like I would rather stay home-bound for a grocery shopping experience. Thank you every Da Tang Supermarket staff member of the town of Middletown's community for your excellent service and the joy you've brought me every time. Continue to thrive , I am hoping to expand my cooking knowledge once this condition has passed safety by. Happy Holidays as well from a local food fan.

small but very mighty chinese/asian supermarket. brand variety of certain products varies (in comparison to larger chains) but chances are you still find what you need; if you don't, you might find something else of interest! excellent selection of spices, dried goods, snacks, and more. will certainly return for more groceries in the future and i anticipate this supermarket becoming a staple for myself.

Great hole in the wall market. Variety of items and there cheap. Not bad if your in the area parking might be the only issue. But you can park behind the building. Only issue is the person working does not speak English so they use there mobile phone to use a translator. Credit and cash accepted

This asian market has super friendly and helpful owners. Do not worry about any language barriers since the owner does speak English. My wife and I took the trip here to pick up some authentic ingredients for traditional chinese chow. haha! Let them know that we sent you!

This market has a great selection of Asian grocery and foods. It is the best in this area. Their prices are good. It is clean and has parking in the back of the store. I have no complaints.

I missed shopping at hmart down in the city. Little did I know this supermarket exists and is only a 20 min walk from my university. They have a great selection of asian food products and ingredients. It's my new go-to spot for sure :)

Don’t need to go to Chinatown to get Chinese groceries, here at Middletown the Da Tang has quite a wide range of Chinese foods and others, I can find pretty much everything I need here. Only problem is they run out of some stuff sometimes….. anyway, it’s very convenient.

This is the only place to find Asian style grocery items in the area. They have a pretty good selection of items.
