I've always used CVS Pharmacy for my š when I used to live in the city never had an issue other than sometimes they're a little slow. I have been living in upstate NY for about a year now. For some reason, my doctor always mistakenly sends my prescription there, which is okay. But I would prefer to get it closer to me rather than go all the way to 211. Anyway, my issue is that every time I go there, the staff always talk amongst themselves, ignoring the customers standing in line. They stare at you and just continue to talk, which has happened twice to me already. Then when someone finally comes to help, they are always in a bad mood.Another time, I was there to drop off sharps because the instructions on the paper said I could call the number provided or drop them off at the pharmacy. I went there and stood in line for half an hour. I didn't say anything and continued to stand until I made eye contact with the pharmacist, who continued to rant about someone not showing up to work. Then when a gentleman saw me, he decided to come forward to help. I said I was there to drop these off, and I opened my bag. He said, āOh, you will have to go to the other window.ā I said, āOkay, thank you.ā I went to the other window and stood there with no response, not even a āIāll be right with you.ā One of the techs kept going back and forth, talking with the pharmacist. They were so into the gossip that the customer (me) was left looking like an idiot. When she finally decided to come over and talk to me, I said very nicely, āIām here to drop off theseā¦ā And before I could finish my sentence, she started yelling as if I were a child. She said, āOh, I don't know who told you to bring it here.ā I said, āMama, I'm simply following instructions. My husband gets his medication delivered at home from CVS. And that is what it said. I didn't need to know how long you worked at the pharmacy. It was a yes or no answer. Very simple!!ā Then when I got upset, she said, āYes, we used to, but not anymore.āI believe that some pharmacy employees require more training and need to learn the importance of patience when dealing with customers. Active listening is crucial before responding to a customer's query. I have worked at CVS pharmacy for over a decade and can attest that the employees, whether working in the pharmacy or the front store, always maintained their composure and never lost their temper with any customer. However, in recent times, I have observed some techs and pharmacists who lack adequate training. It is essential to note that without customers, they wouldn't have a salary. Therefore, it is vital to be courteous and professional, even if you are not in the best of moods. I have decided to stop visiting the pharmacy for my prescriptions and will only go to the front store if necessary.

I was picking up a prescription for my son, when I approached the pharmacy counter the pharmacy manager told me they were closing for lunch. I looked at my watch and said itās 1:28 and I have 2 prescriptions ready for pick up. She totally ignored me, not even looking in my direction. I asked her name and she didnāt answer I had to ask again. She said Tia. I understand that the pharmacy needs to close for lunch due to staffing but if a customer is there before 1:30 they should be helped. Other service industries do not get to close there doors before the posted time. Tia was completely disrespectful and uncaring.

This is the worst CVS pharmacy Iāve ever been to. Starting with the manager who is the rudest of all. One new girl gives me an attitude because I asked her a question that she didnāt know anything about instead of asking someone. I asked her to ask her manager and I was given the wrong answer regardless. I will definitely go to a different pharmacy.

The Pharmacy doesnāt even have its own google page as others in the area do, I imagine this is because itās so terrible, Iāve been using this place for a few months, Iāve experienced sassy cashiers and long waits prior to todays visit but today really through me over the edge. I spent half an hour in the drive through for them to tell me one of my scrips are still being processed and to go through the line again. Went through a second time for them to be missing two scrips, one from urgent care which wasnāt able to be filled because ā creamā was used in terminology instead of ālotionā they sent a request to have it fixed and wanted me to go through the line a third time. I went down the street and got a snack and came back and went through the drop off line, to be screamed at relentlessly that they arenāt capable of filling scrips through lane 2 and that I have to get back in line. How many 20-45 minuet laps do they want me to do? Itās a dam nascar track. Iām just going home without medications. I will live in pain. They also bombarded me with texts for a medication Im supposed to take as needed for monthly pick up although I donāt need it but have made zero effort to have me pick up my diuretic that you arenāt supposed to stop abruptly.THREE WEEKS LATER: the saga has continued, went to pick up my script and demand my other ones, they are now saying some of my scrips arenāt eligible for monthly automatic refill because I have Medicaid, this doesnāt make sense, one of those scrips Iāve had for five years with another pharmacy and it was in my monthly bag of goodies without me having to ask, the other one could cause me to faint if i suddenly stopped, youād think Medicaid would make an exception for this, I think itās really CVSes policy and procedures. They also tell me the script that they couldnāt fill and had me waiting around for a couple weeks ago, doesnāt exist. AS IN THEY LOST MY SCRIPT. COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT, they told me I had to call corporate to have my scripts and personal information removed from their system, I will be not using that pharmacy again but I will be coming back tomorrow to speak to the pharmacy manager who for some reason doesnāt work on a Thursday.

Have to say, discretion and respect is really a priority with this place.Some miscommunication and a frustrating conversation was all resolved by the pharmacist Natasha.This place really does care about their customers and thatās why I enjoy coming here.

The pharmacy manager is rude and clueless. I planned holiday travel around the date I was told both verbally and by text I could pick up my medication. Not only was she adamant about giving me wrong information, she acted like she could have cared less. Now travel plans need to be changed. She made it very clear she was the manager. Horrible

Unfortunately, pharmacy seems to be hugely understaffed. They have made errors in my prescription, when I tried to explain, the girl did not want to hear my side and only realized the error when I asked to speak to a pharmacist and the pharmacist explained it to her. Another turn-off is there is always a long line.

I payed full price for my meds until third time I came I refused to pay and then pharmacist found the problem and fixed it- and then was for freeš¤¬š¤Æ

Trying to get meds from there is sometimes and incredibly frustrating experience. The workers there are clearly understaffed and its really not fair to anyone especially the disabled community who is forced to wait in extreme pain fot necessary medication. I wouldnt use this as my pharmacy if i didnt have to

If I could give a zero I would. First since they are short staffed they literally turned off the phones the pharmacist literally admitted to sending all calls to voicemail. Which is crazy. I tried calling multiple times to try to see if my medicine came in. I had to speak to the general manager who had to physically walk to the pharmacy and give them my name and number to call me. The pharmacist called to say my order was ready didnāt even bother to check the notes in the computer. I get there to pick it up and they tried handing me the same box of meds that they tried to give me 3 days prior and told them I needed a specific brand. I explained they ordered the right brand for me and she said oh the distribution center didnāt have it. Okay thatās fine, but why was it so hard to just call to tell me that it wasnāt in stock. Itās like they didnāt even pay attention. Iām sorry if your that short staffed that you canāt pay attention to an important note than you might as well close for the day. I wasnāt mad they were out, im mad at the incompetence of the staff. They could have called so I didnāt have to waste my time and gas at 7:30 at night.

The associate at the cash register needs training in social skills. I greeted the associate with a hello with no response. Two minutes later as I was waiting to be checked out, and again said hello to the associate behind the counter with no response. Finally I was checked out and I asked the associate how he was doing and again no reply. Then I asked him how was his day and he appeared to be unhappy ? His reply was to \"tell my manager of that the was unhappy \". BTW : the associate didn't thank or welcome me as a customer of the store. In retail you do need some social skills and a hello followed by a thank you isn't too much to expect. I maybe incorrect ! Take care and good luck to the future .

Waited 25 min on hold to transfer a med from one CVS to this one . After 25 min a woman answers and instead of helping me , is arguing with a customer about how itās a busy location . She gets done arguing with her customer and hangs up on me . I had to call and wait another 25 min for her to answer again. She answers says nothing I say hello and she hangs up. This is my 3rd time calling now . Horrible customer service either get someone who knows how to do their job. Or hire more people. Terrible . This usually takes 5 min I have been on phone over an hour

The worst pharmacy Iāve ever dealt with in my entire life. Iāve never waited here for less than 15 minutes, itās usually between 30-45 mins and when youāre finally next they canāt even find your prescription or tell you āoh itāll be ready in 10 minutes.ā After it was sent hours prior. Hire better staff or figure out a way to work more efficiently. This is medicationā¦not fast food. Just awful. Do better.

Some of the employees in the pharmacy have been extremely rude. They seem to have attitudes as if they don't want to be there and you are annoying them. There were a few people on line. Approximately 6. One left because of the wait. They attempted to get another person on register but she did not have log in info. They proceeded to call a manager and they were unable to do anything. They then called another manager, but while I was there, no one else hopped onto the second pickup register. I then went to the store register to make a purchase. The cashiers here are not very friendly either. No hello, thank you's or have a good day. And he looked angry.I am diabetic and use many medications including insulin. There have been many times when I had to wait days to get refills. I've also been told when ordering refills that they would be in on a specific day. When going to pick up, they didn't even seem to have the system updated resulting in more days of waiting. This happened on at least 3 occasions. While going thru the drive-thru on a prior visit, the girl got angry and agitated because we could not hear the price we were told to pay and she had to repeat it. I had an argument with someone because the script should have been a 3mth fill, not a 1mth. They said the script was written wrong. When I showed them the print out that I received from the Dr office that proved it was a 3mth, they then said my insurance probably didn't cover 3mth. BOTH incorrect!!I have since started using another pharmacy (Neighbor RX). The service is much better and refill waits are minimal. CVS was always my go-to pharmacy, because they were a bigger chain and there was less hassle. That is no longer the case. I can sometimes deal with meds not being available a.s.a.p., however, I will not deal with the lack of customer service skills.

DO NOT GO HERE WITH GOOD RX! They wonāt honor it. They tried to charge me 3x the amount I pay for percription that I have gotten from CVS 4 years. They treated me like a lesser person the Pharmacist wouldnāt event talk to me. They are trying to charge the highest price they can to rip people off that need medication. I called them on it and the whole staff looked down because they feel bad for abusing customers while the pharmacist acts like she is better than everyone. I went next door to Walgreens and saved $180. My medication is not narcotics itās to prevent people from using. I feel bad for the addict that doesnāt have money and dies because of your greed

This is the worst store ever I have never seen such a rude manager like Erin Walter. Itās sad that you make people sit on the line for 25mins then you close the window in front of there face.I told her I was just on line for a very long time she then says I need to eat lunch and locks up the pharmacy itās so sad that a manager Combe so rude and disrespectful. Erin would not like if she was at Walmart on line and someone did that to her. Erin Walter you need to do better and have some compassion.

Very rude staff imcluding the pharmacist. I never leave bad reviews but this time I have to.The only person who can process my insurance was not on duty so I was advise to come back next week or I will have to pay for the flu shoot and that OK but when I when in for the appointment they said no you don't have appointment.After insisting that I do and I even confirm the women finally asked her coworkers who confirmed they spoked with me and they canceled my appointment and now they are done with the vaccines for the day and they are very busy. Not for nothing but some people shoild not be working with clients. That was the worst customer service I've ever witness. I know everywhere businesses are short staff buy I really don't know how those individuals are still employed they were raising their voice speaking condescending and rude walking away while you are still talking......If I can leave 0 stars I would.š

Horrible customer service! Cashier āZaidaā is really rude and unprofessional. If you donāt want to work there then why are you doing it? She checked me out with no greeting or barely acknowledged me there, didnāt even bother telling me the total either! Her unfriendly attitude wonāt have me back in that store

Brittany the pharmacist is extremely condescending. She refuses to admit when she is wrong. She blames everything on the insurance so that you have to make a million calls in order for her to do her job. Then when she realizes she has no choice but to do her job she tells you your medication will be ready in 2 hours. It takes 2 hrs to put 14 tablets in a bottle. No..it doesn't. I would know since I was a pharmacy tech. Since it was her mistake and I've been waiting for them for a few days you would think she would say "I'm sorry I'll get those ready for you right away." Not Brittany ..she has no people skills and is apparently very miserable.

Drive thru employees are absolutely not helpful. Am a pregnant woman that need my prescription because of an infection that i got, and the pharmacist is telling me that itās on hold till the 24th cause it was sent to my old pharmacy . I informed her well I didnāt pick it up and i need it . She asked me to go around till they contact them to pull it out . I said am not staying in the line for another 30 min . Absolutely horrible if i can give them nothing not one star i would . And i told her to keep the prescription

This location is pretty run down. Service wise, I do not blame the customer service folks one bit. I one hundred percent blame the cvs cooperation for their negligence. You can tell their employees are working their hardest and are severely understaffed. The bathroom, which is passlock protected, was very gross, very unsanitary. Many elderly and disabled people go there to pick up their medications, unbelievable that cvs does not support their staff appropriately, corporate should be ashamed.

This is the worst pharmacy Iāve ever delt with the staff here are very rude and I always have a issue getting my medication every single time I come. This should be a quick process instead it usually turns into an all day thing. Been here today for over an hour. Then they tell me my script is done only to tell me that I still have to wait because there not finished. Like what kind of service is this. Also one of the pharmacists had the audacity to call my doctor and change my medication With out even asking me which I find very unprofessional never even heard of a pharmacy doing that. Iām certainly done with this place and will not even come back here to shop. If I could give this place a negative rating I would. This place definitely needs a whole new staff.

I recently had a medical device stop working (manufacturing issue), and I wasnāt due for a new one for a few days. The company sent a replacement, but the mail was running really late. I was so stressed thinking that Iād have to go days without my diabetes supplies that I need, but I called CVS and Debbie worked to get me what I needed. She figured everything out so that I didnāt even have to fight with my insurance company. Not only did she try to help me on the phone, but she went above and beyond and kept working on my issue after we had hung up. She quickly called me back and told me everything was all set. I am so incredibly grateful that she kept trying to help me, even after we had ended the call, it shows that she really cares and it isnāt just about doing a job. She cares about helping people. Thanks to her, I had my new sensor hours before my last one expired and did not have to go one minute without. Thank you so much, Debbie!

I just want to give a big thank-you to the CVS Store Mgr as she made everything right over the phone crediting our cc. We went in there to get Passport Photos for an older relative that we were visiting from out of town. The photos looked great. However, the Post Office rejected them & we had to get new ones at the PO. We left Middletown w/out having a chance to get a refund. I called a week later, sent her the receipt (including the PO's receipt) & she funded the charge back to our cc. This is why we go to CVS...the Customer Service is Fantastic.

I would like to commend the cashier today at CVS Route 211 Middletown New York 10940..She went out of her way to help me she was busy at the register and when she wasn't busy she would come over to the photo department right next to me and help me to make a photo..I say she was very patient because she was very busy and it's the Christmas season she is a good employee....
