Great store. This is their newest location, and has similar offerings as Adams Newburgh.Besides the fresh produce, butcher, deli, dairy and dry goods, seafood, coffee, cheese, bakery, nursery, greenhouse, and house plant areas, they also have a floral department, a pizza shop, a gift shop, a candy shop, and a many ready-to-eat offerings.Two unique things about this location is the introduction of self checkout lanes and a much larger dining area.This store is a great addition to the local community and has excellent quality in each department.

Very nice. Huge. Overwhelming amount of choices. You will need time to go through the store. If you don't plan to shop here regularly, you will definitely need a lot of time. Hot food was delicious.

visiting my grandma from florida. this place was wonderful! beautiful flowers and great service. i hope you consider opening a location in tampa florida some day! i’ve never seen such a selection of flowers, candy, and even groceries. super impressive and beautiful layout. safe to say i’ll be back!

Today was my 1st day going here. Omg I loved this place. There is everything you would ever need and more. I bought some healthy foods as well as some goodies from the bakery. The place is very big and is decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations. I really enjoyed this place so much. Will definitely be back!

An amazing collection of plants in the nursery. Beautiful produce, with many specialty hard to find gourmet products, baked goods, candies. Sets the bar higher for the other supermarkets in the area.

Variety of specialty foods, and meats. Excellent customer service. Clean and spacious. Prices are justified by the quality of their foods. Wonderful gift shop and speciality shops clearly labeled. Outdoor and indoor floral. The coffee and hot food emporiums are clean and always full of fresh items. Plenty of parking and handicap parking available. I love this place it reminds me of the Whole Foods , DAG NYC and Gristedes in New York City.

The quality of the pastries is not the same like when they first opened. I recently ordered a cake from this location and there wasn't much chocolate in the chocolate buttercream frosting, it was a light beige color and there was a strong butter flavor which was thickly coated onto the cake. I also purchased some pastries today which had the same overpowering butter flavor. The Newburgh location has a more consistent bakery.

I was only in town for a week and stumbled upon here looking for pizza. Not only was the pizza wonderful but I also saw all of their wonderful fresh produce as well as the AMAZING salad bar!

It's great for fresh produce and the meat. A bit over priced for stuff like pasta, for ECT.Make sure you tell them how to cut deli meats. Everything I got was so thin couldn't take them apart. Had to bring back 90 bucks of meats and get newly sliced.

Farm fresh products from all the local farms. Great customer service, fresh buffet food, and lounge area to eat. Adam's Fairacre Farms also has competitive prices. They're definitely worth the visit to do your shopping 🛍. They even have their own gift 🎁 shop.

As a kid back in the 1960s - 70s, I spent summers near the original Adam's stand in Poughkeepsie and watched it grow to what it is today. When they opened locations in Wappingers, Newburgh, and Kingston, we would make sure to stop and buy some of the incredible fresh produce and plants, but always lived too far away to make meat or dairy purchases viable. So, we were thrilled when their Middletown store was announced, as it's under 30 minutes from home here outside Milford, PA.Shopping anywhere can be a hit or miss experience, depending on a combination of staff and product. A few years ago, we were greatly disappointed at trying to buy two higher-end large cobalt blue vases in Kingston because the manager told us that, although they were there, they weren't inventoried yet. We went back a week later, but still not available for sale, so we spent our $150 elsewhere. But that was an anomaly for Adam's, where they usually have a team that is customer focused (my career is in corporate guest service coaching).The Adam's in Middletown is good, but not great. Some of the produce (local corn, as an example) was substandardly small and lacked taste. A number of deli salads were marked down for quick sale with next day expiration dates. Some meat displays were unappealing, and other shelves unkempt. And prices are higher for some items vs. Similar ones elsewhere.The current saving grace in Middletown: the staff! Yes, more than a few are still in a learning curve, but their team was generally helpful, professional, and numerous (an oddity when mist other stores are lacking in numbers).My concern? All three times I've been there, the parking lot was nearly empty and the store far from crowded, unlike how it is when visiting their other locations. Maybe folks just have to find it, or remember it's there, but I wonder if location and pricing might not be a good combination in these times when money is tighter for many Americans? One of my other career responsibilities was choosing locations for businesses, so I'm hoping my location fears here are unfounded.Adam's is a great place to shop... I just spent over $100 there yesterday getting ready for a party today here at home. Their team is their strength, their product usually a strong point, but their pricing sometimes a hindrance. My wife and I have been shopping at Adam’s Newburgh for years.The new store in Middletown, while nicely designed, bright, clean leaves a lot to be desired with regards to the bakery.Not unusual to stand around with little or no help. I frequently see customers standing around while not receiving any help.Yesterday I wanted to purchase a small cheesecake.The female employee was talking on her phone trying to place the cake in the box.She kept leaving the cake to check the code for pricing 4 times!!While talking on her phone!She struggled with the box, could not get the side inserts inside the box, became frustrated and placed a few pieces of tape on the outside.She then handed me the box without even looking at me.When I got the cake home, it was half destroyed. I guess Adam’s doesn’t care about the service in the bakery or the fact that I paid for the cake, let alone the lack of service, or the fact that my wife and I have put thousands of $$ in the owners pockets.I’m quite certain they don’t even bother reading reviews as long as they make their profit.So much for being a customer.

We used to live in New Windsor and shopped frequently at the Newburgh location. We were very happy to hear about the opening of this location.The layout is the best I've seen in all of the stores. There's plenty of room, despite how busy it was. It appears that each department was very well stocked and staffed, and the employees had everything they needed at their fingertips. The self checkout area was a nice addition. The parking lot was huge as well.All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

Sheila in the bakery department is amazing!!! She is so so sweet and she went above and beyond to make a cake exactly how I wanted it for my sons baptism. It came out so beautifully and I cannot thank her enough! She even sent me pictures after the cake was done to make sure I liked it. Her kindness and customer service goes above and beyond and I can’t say enough good things about her.
