I wish I could give negative stars! I found a very affordable portable air conditioner on their website and I just wanted to know which location had it in stock, if not this one. So I asked someone who appeared to be a manager and he told me I would have to look it up myself and try one store at a time to find it. Or it may be online only. Because I couldn't get a cellular signal in this store, I asked if they had a computer where this could be looked up and also if there was a way to look up the item and see where it was in stock instead of guessing on each store. He said no, there's no computer. I was in disbelief because I don't understand how a giant corporation like Walmart doesn't have a single computer in their store to manage inventory and keep track of their products. So I politely pressed him a little and said "Really, you don't have a computer here? At the register or anywhere?" Then he got annoyed and replied "Excuse me? You asked me a question and I answered it. Go look it up yourself!" On my way out, I asked a regular worker the same question. She was able to find the item on her phone and told me it was available online only. I guess Mr. Bigshot was too busy to be bothered doing that for a little pee-on customer. Kudos to the girl who actually made the effort and answered the question, but this manager needs to be disciplined by the company and I will now make a point to never shop at Walmart again.

Needed to go to lawn and garden. Being handicap I parked by the lawn and garden entrance. I pulled on the door and it was locked. The employee was leaning on one of the shelf on they cell phone and looked up and shook they head "no". So I had to drive to the front entrance and go across the store. If that door isn't going to be use take off the entrance indicators or at the very least post a big enough sign so people can see it but it is not an entrance.

Very useful Walmart had everything we needed with good prices. Helpful and quick staff. Not too busy or crazy. Muddy parking lot watch your step.

Should offer Veterans discount in every department. Handicap Parking is difficult because of cheaters take up the space. Too much credit card only check out.

What is wrong lately, it has been three weeks the ladies restroom handicapped stall is "Out of Order" Are you for real???? You could have had it fixed weeks ago.So let me explain, in case you think all stalls are alike.The elderly, frail and handicapped NEED the handrails that only that stall has, so that we can support ourselves sitting, getting up and tyding up. Being that you have only ONE stall assigned and now it is locked "OUT OF ORDER" ; you are causing undue hardship and risking somebody to fall down. And I did not even touch on the fact that wheelchair bound ladies cannot use the facility at all, they can't get into ANY of the other stalls because they are too narrow and NOT wide enough to transfer from wheelchair to toilet!!! It really is not complicated.So have a heart and have it fixed, open the stall and get your act together. I am sure you are breaking some disability act law by not allowing the stall to be opened. A store of your size needs accessible services to the disabled customers as well.

I always find what I need. They have everything from food to clothes for all, baby stuff, pet foods, to drugs,to a deli, to cosmetics, toys, auto products and most workers will help you with a smile. They also help the handicapped, many electric carts.

I come here all the time due to it being the closest location and spend over a $100 each time on cat food. I asked to use my tax exempt under a rescue I volunteer for...they told me I can't unless I print out the paperwork and bring it in. I go this time with my paperwork and the lady was questioning if I can get a card due to the paperwork being printed out. They register me a card and I go shopping spending $126 on cat food. I gave the cashier the card and she tells me I should have gave her it first because she would have to start the transaction all over. I don't have time now so I told her to forget it. I'm annoyed because it makes this 2x I attempted to use the tax exempt and this walmart has given me trouble. Had I been told to present the card first I would have done so. I also go to pet supplies plus and always show the papers on my phone...never ever had a problem. Train your employees better. I don't work at walmart and I don't have a crystal ball to take out to look up your policies.

I like this walmart in Middle Island, it is close to home, and so I find it convenient for most household items as well as a fully stocked pharmacy dept, sporting section, and toy section. There is also seasonal items, pet supplies, outdoor, baby items, and clothing, but these sections tend to be more limited. There are most basic grocery items and cleaning supplies, but the yaphank location has produce and more groceries. If Middle Island added a produce area, that would be great, but otherwise, this store is good 👍 I have had no issues with staff other than sometimes having to wait if assistance is required. The app helps alot with finding things and so far has been accurate to the section and aisle.

Much smaller than a Walmart Supercenter with a small grocery section almost exclusively devoted to processed food: no fresh fruit, no kefir, etc.Ample parkingI really liked the mobile checkout through employees wearing scanner and receipt printer. That felt (almost) like being at an Apple store.

At about 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday, the limited food that they do carry, was wiped out. Okay, not the end of the world, I also needed a collar for my cat. The pet department was also depleted. I am not sure who is running this store, but they need to do a better job keeping the shelves full.

Went to this Walmart to get a replacement hunting license and no one was at the desk of sporting goods. We told a few employees what we wanted and they called the sporting goods associate over the intercom, this repeated twice and when he did finally show up the machine wasn't working. So we basically wasted 30mins for nothing. Also the chip selection sucks.

I'm a big fan of this Walmart. Even though it's on the smaller side and sometimes doesn't have everything I need, it's consistently well-stocked. I find myself shopping here quite often.

It should be listed as total self serve.. nobody ever around to help unless your checking out..maybe that total automation upgrade they are looking to do might improve the shopping experience.. otherwise don't bother trying to find products just order online and keep your frustration level low

Centereach and Yaphank are way better. Also, Walmart lets you choose between a paper or digital receipt, but they still check receipts at the door, treating you like a criminal.

Walmart in middle island is a good store. Some of the staff is just there to be there. (I understand) The greeters/receipt checkers are very nice. All the ladies in the Pharmacy are Great, expecially Jodi. And last but not least... The girl who is always on the end register... horrible.

Came up from North Carolina dropped in to see My old time friends Who work in Walmart in Middle Island NY and each time I say see You the next time We come up saw them over Fifteen X’s on this trip up north. Yes I love Walmart
