This store is great!I have two cats, and in the spring of 2016, I decided to buy a supply of strong flea treatments called "Advantage" a little BEFORE flea season starts. I told the clerk (possibly the owner, but I don't know) what I wanted, and he asked me the weight of my cats, as "Advantage" comes in different strengths for different-sized cats. I told him I didn't know my cats' weights. He then informed me I should find out the weight of both cats before I buy this stuff, as giving a large-cat dose to a smaller cat could make the cat sick.I took his advice, of course. I checked the veterinary records of my cats to find their weight before I went back to R&S a few days later.What is noteworthy is that the store clerk didn't want me to risk endangering my cats' health, and discouraged me from buying the product I had come in for. That's integrity! Many retail store staff would just try to persuade a customer to buy something so they can make a quick sale. R&S actually puts the well-being of their customers' pets ABOVE making an easy profit.Integrity matters, so I give this place my highest recommendation. This is the best place there is to buy pet supplies!To another reviewer who complained about the high prices: the pet foods carried by R&S are more expensive because this store ONLY carries top-quality brands. There are cheaper pet foods available elsewhere, but they're cheaper for a reason: low quality ingredients and less nutritional value. Your pets will be healthier and live longer if you spend a little extra and buy them higher quality foods.

Excellent selection and the prices are the lowest around. This owner really tries to keep feeding your pet affordable. No price-gouging. (not greedy and genuinely cares for animals)Buy everything there and skip Petco!!! Lets keep the little guys in business!!!!!!!!!!

Great pet shop and great owner. Helped me buy dog food for local rescue for his cost. 300 pounds of dog food for Friends of Freddie! Way to go R&S!

Great place. They carry many products that can not be found in walmart or petco. Plus it has a hometown business atmosphere so you're not chasing someone around a store for help.

Excellent variety of great foods with knowledgeable staff. Went to get a specialty cat food (the only food they eat) and the store is shut down, out of business no warning! I have no idea where to get their food now? 😟😞
