Dr. King and his staff are awesome! I recently took in a stray cat that needed medical attention. My regular vet wanted me to wait two weeks to get an appointment to have them look at what I thought was an abscess, Dr. King was the only vet in the area that would treat him the same day I called. I explained the situation and he said bring him in. Turns out he was bitten by a bug that laid eggs under the skin and the egg hatched ( worm under skin).Not only did the Dr take care of that he also suggested having my cat neutered while he was sedated to save some money.All my animals will be going to Dr King from now on.

Best vet I have been to. Dr. King is understanding, attentive to the animals, easy to talk to. All of the staff has also been fanatastic every time I have gone. I've had a couple emergency situations, and they get me in immediately. After going here for almost 5 years, I moved about 30 minutes away, and even though there is a closer vet to me now, I will continue to bring my dogs here since I can trust they will be well taken care of.

We have had nothing but excellent service and care for our animals since we started going to Dr King. He is kind and caring and truly cares for your pet and regards the love you have for them. Reading some reviews I must say, people are human and oversights happen. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.Dr King always explains everything he's doing and what he believes is going on with our fur babies. He has been the best veterinarian we have found. We've seen a few, all good, but we feel Dr King and his staff are the best. The staff is also very kind, helpful and cheerful. Office is always clean, never smelly or dirty. Our animals even enjoy going! He has never tried to add on any expense that was not needed and often times graciously discounts a service. We trust him explicitly with our animals and I hope he remains in practice for a long time!

I don't typically write reviews but I feel that people deserve to know how terrible this place is before you bring your pets. They are EXTREMELY unorganized and the staff is NOT friendly. I'd been scheduled to bring my 11 year Bull Mastiff and Pomeranian that are both suffering from severe health issues into them on 7/9 at 11 am for an appointment. We received a text confirmation and arrived at the time we were scheduled. They told me that the appointment was actually at 10:20 am the following week, claiming they called and left us a message--WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. They were not flexible and were frankly rude. This is not the first time this has happened to us and we kept giving them a chance. If you want a place that is loving and wants the best for your pets--this is NOT the place to bring them. Definitely worth driving further for more competent doctor and staff. They also have extremely limited hours. DO NOT RECOMMEND and will be sharing that widely. I would give ZERO stars if it was an option.

Dr. King was so wonderful to our dog. Our regular vet was too busy to see him after he had been vomiting all night. Dr. King and the girls got him right in to be checked before the weekend. He went above and beyond called VMC and our regular vet to update them and talk about our dogs treatment.

Dr King and his staff do a wonderful job caring for our dog. The office is clean and efficiently run. The staff are great with the animals (and the people), and very professional. I recommend them whole heartily. Oh, and their prices are reasonable as well.

Dr. King and his staff are some of the most loving and compassionate people I have ever met! I have been to countless vets with my babies and none of them come close to the Mexico animals hospital. I have always left knowing that my babies are in the best hands and trust Dr. King whole heartedly because I know he genuinely cares. Not just about your pet but about you too. He makes sure you fully understand every situation and keeps a positive attitude when you feel down. Dr. King did an amazing job repairing my rabbit’s lower eyelid tear and doing her spay surgery. The clinic got me in very quickly for the first apt and then for the surgery. They also followed up very persistently about how she was doing post-op which shows they truly care about animals. The prices at the clinic are also the best I’ve seen for rabbit spays. Would definitely recommend to other rabbit owners.

Dr. King Is by far the best!!!! Compassionate, caring and the most knowledgeable human being when it comes to our fur babies... We live in liverpool and would drive to him when there are 10 other vets closer... Our JRT Fred has had plenty of tumors removed and other issues and dr. King will give him the best care... That's why he's our dr.... Do your pet a favor and go to Dr. King!!!! This place should have nothing but 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We just got a new puppy and decided to make Mexico our vet. Dr. King was great! They were quick, great with my daughter, and even trimmed the puppies nails! Any other pets will be going to Dr. King!

Dr. King is an amazing, no bs kind of veterinarian. He doesn't try to sell you extra product, and he knows petcare can be expensive, so he tries to be affordable. He cares about your pet and not making the extra dollar. All around great.

I called to make an appointment for my chiyorkie because he's not holding anything down for the last 2 days, the receptionist was very rude and uncaring as she abruptly told me that they're not taking new clients and before she hung up on me I got the question in if she knew where I could take him and she said NO and hung up. Wow, God bless all those babies that are taken there.

Love Dr. King and his staff, they really care about animals and it shows.My family has been going to him for years and trust him full heartedly.I recently moved out of my family’s house with three cats and had to get them tested fairly quickly for FeLV because of a false negative a kitten I recently took in gave a month ago.Not only did he accept all three of them, he got them in extremely quickly to get them tested. Called me right away with their results. And called to check up on how they were doing.He’s an hour away from where I live now. But he is worth the drive and is easily the only vet I will be taking my pets to.

Nice people there I got a dog that wasn't wanted any more and I didn't know anything about this dog then I found a scrap of paper in the dogs belongings I called this place and they gave me all the info I needed for my vet with out compromising the privacy protocol thanks guys

Well James D. you couldn't be any more wrong. Dr king is the most caring vet I have ever known. I'm a rescue and I will only allow him to care for my animals. He has a big heart. You are a sad person to say these things. He really doesn't need clients like you but would still treat your animals just as well. I couldn't ask for better care for my pets and rescues. I have had several pets to Mexico animal hospital been with them for years. My work schedule changed for a few years I gave my daughter my dog Moose Because I was never home I was always working, Not fair to the dog. I Recently got a new job I only work part time so I adopted another dog. I called Mexico animal hospital to make her an appointment they will not see her because I have not been there since 2016. I tried to explain I had no pets during this time and they refused to see my dog as I was considered a new patient. So just a heads up if a situation occurs and you have no pet for a while you still need to make a vet appointment or they will refuse to see you when you do need a vet...That's a great way to suck money out of people ....

I wanted to send the vet clinic an email but could not find one..I also wanted to call but realized I would say things I might regret ..My sister has brought her dogs to Dr King for many years he is a wonderful vet..recently her dog was diagnosed with cancer, her animals are her children she had one month to say goodbye then it came time to make the decision.... I went with her and her husband it was very very sad but the ladies at the clinic handled it great...my sister left her child there to be cremated they told us they were going to take a paw print and send her ashes out.. THEY FORGOT TO DO THE PAW PRINT. I know to some this might not be a big deal but it is to her,. Its something she wanted very much and now it can not be undone. I'm hoping someone that works there sees this and this never happens again and they probably lost a customer!!!

The people there seemed nice but at the same time I didn't appreciate the way the Vet actually handled my small pet. He claimed to have worked with small animals such as Hamsters, rats, ect before but the way he grabbed at my pet which was rough got him bit. I felt bad for the guy but if you have handled small animals before you know not to do that because it scares them...I recommend them for larger pets such as Cats and Dogs but not for small pets...

Awesome staff, they take absolutly great care of the doggos. We have had a spade and neutering done there, a dual dog porcupine run in, plus all the regular check ups, shots and what not done through them and have had a Great experience everytime.
