We had the worst experience at this establishment. I can not even put into words the fury I have stowed upon today. We brought our 5 month old aussie doodle for a small trim mostly around the concentrated areas of the face, paws and private areas. Our vet had told us that usually most groomers will not touch a puppies’ fur because it can cause harm in the growth down the future. With that said we brought her in with specific instructions as the receptionist wrote it down on a post-it to give to the groomer. When we came back after roughly 4 hours our dog was completely buzzed with crooked cuts all around her face, ears and butt. She looked absolutely nothing like the dog we brought in . I’m completely furious that our dog was basically mutilated. When the groomer came out her response was “it is what it is and it’ll grow back”. The customer service was horrific and how dare you keep afloat when a customer asks for something specific and you go and shave her to basically a bare skin dog. We had to wash her again after we brought her back as well because she was giving off a powder dust every time we went to pet her. What kind of service has the audacity to do something like this without an owners’ permission! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Bath bones and beyond is a fantastic company. They are very clean and always flexible when it comes to scheduling my dogs to get groomed. There are multiple locations which also is a great benefit. I go to the one in Merrick, the staff is wonderful. They are looking their Easter’s best!

I have been going here for about over a year now and could not be any happier! From the customer service, the grooming services and the way they care for the dogs I highly recommend this place. The prices are very very reasonable considering the amazing job they do!

I’ve tried various groomers for my pooch Daisy, and they’ve always come back not looking right (from having lopsided facial cuts to receiving wrong styles not requested). Frustrated, I went online to research area groomers, to read reviews, and to look at pictures of their groomed dogs. I came across BBB and instantly fell in love with how they groomed their dogs, even with super short cuts! They cut it in the style of Boo the Pomeranian and I’m so glad we went with them!!! My standard Goldendoodle is sooo fluffy and adorable that even my (usually snarky) 12 year old tween cannot get over “how cute she looks!” It was slightly out of our way (~20 min), but will gladly stick to this location even though there is another BBB only 10min away from us! 👍🏼💕 Thank you to the wonderful staff at BB&B—(I only write reviews when I’m enthused about the service) and I’m excited to bring my pup back to support this business!

Not happy with this place. I called them to see if I could get my Airedale in. I told the woman four times what the breed was and her size. She told me to wait while she looked up the price. She mentioned I think a Welsh terrier. I said, no this is an Airedale very large. She said, yeah I know. She said $85. The day before my appointment she calls me back and says it's going to be $120 because how big the dog is. I told you four times her size and now you're changing the price. I told her I wanted a breed specific cut when I dropped her off. They immediately tried to upsell me when I was dropping her off. Took them less time than they had thought but that's probably because my dog is so well behaved and calm while being groomed. When I picked her up I was kind of surprised that she did not have a breed specific cut. It was an okay cut but not for the price they charged. She had a clippers scalp in her right hind quarters. Her underside was not even. But I really liked how they made her feet really round. The face definitely was not breed specific. I don't think I'll go back.

Found bones bath & beyond in a search online as I’m new to the area and needed my dog to be groomed and they got me in right away!Front desk receptionist very professional and the groomer that took care of my dog was very sweet and thorough! Glad I found this lovely dog spa 😊My little man is looking (and smelling) very handsome!! Update— I have been bringing my dog here for around one year now, and I just want to say how happy I am with the service and care they provide for my dog! Will continue to bring him here for his monthly grooming!

Bones Bath and Beyond are amazing dog groomers that leave your fur baby smelling amazing and looking like the dog belongs on the cover of a magazine! Cindy at the front desk is very sweet, takes a picture of exactly what you want and takes notes to make sure they get it right. And they always do🐶! Awesome!

We’re always very happy with the way they groom our Woodle. He is curly and needs a lot of attention and they always do a great job. He gets excited to enter the building so I know they treat him well. They are fast and consistent. I’ll never use another groomer.

Another great grooming!They were caring and listened to our concerns. I will be back! Our Puppy’s first full grooming, and she looked and smelled great! I am in love all over again! My dog is a 1yo mini schnauzer. We’ve tried about 5 other groomers but this one is by far the best. Lulu got her breed cut and is beautiful! Super soft and smells delicious! Everybody, from the moment you call to make an appointment until dog is ready, is super nice and professional. Recommend 100%!! We’ll be back!!UPDATE: 3/15/22 Almost a year after my first review and I can’t say anything but great things about this place! Recommend 100%!

ONE WORD….AWESOME!This was my first time going to Bones Bath & Beyond. My pup Charlie isn’t the best at getting groomed. In fact, he needs to take meds just to get him groomed.The place was neat, clean and modern and the owner (sorry don’t remember her name) was very accommodating.They took Charlie as soon as I walked in, as not to make him wait and get more anxious or nervous, and had him done sooner than expected. The entire staff was professional and friendly and Charlie looked AMAZING when he was done. They did his nails, brushed his teeth, cleaned his ears as well as groomed him to perfection.Many groomers on full size dogs tend to just shave your dog and and try to get them out of there fast as possible. Not Jenna. She took the time to look at his features and made my pup look as handsome as ever.I can assure you that I’ll be back and this will be the your pup’s groomer if you give them a try.I don’t write many reviews, so you can know that they had to have done an extraordinary job for me to take the time to write one. Maybe because I’ve had such bad experiences with other groomers and that my dog having a positive experience is important to me.If I could give them 5+ stars I would.Thanks again to the entire staff at Bones Bath & Beyond.Dave

Clean salon with a very friendly and attentive staff. Their calm approach with Lily helped me feel at ease, unfortunately my pup has anxiety and it has been an issue finding a groomers that really understands her situation. I am very happy with her overall experience here and look forward to bringing her here again.

First time taking my rough collie here after months without grooming. From the minute they picked up the phone, they were nothing by professional and caring. Their establishment is very clean and organized. What I liked most is how they didn't resort to shaving my dog for her tougher spots (she's a double coated dog), and combed through it which is much healthier and better for their coat. Definitely will be brining my dog back in a few months!

We bring our 85 lb. Bernedoodle and two wheaten terriers in to BB&B on a regular basis because they are the best groomers in the area hands down! They go the extra mile to brush out rather than just shave the pups.

I just took our dog Rocket to this establishment for the very first time for grooming and he will definitely be returning. Cindy was very attentive, took notes of my requests, and all my requests were fulfilled. My husband picked him up after his appointment and was pleased with the results as well.Rocket smelled so so good!! His face was perfectly cut and we were finally able to see his eyes. His hair does grow fast, so I might have to request they cut a bit shorter next time, but he looked so handsome after he left from here.

Wish I could give 0 stars…. My husband dropped off our English bulldog for an 11:30 appointment for a bath ONLY. 3 hours later he went to pick him up after not receiving any phone calls. Not only did the assumed owner try to give my husband the WRONG dog, she also gave him a nasty attitude. When my husband asked how long it would be they said it was going to be another hour. You’re telling me it takes 4 hours to give a dog a bath WITH an appointment?!! Really makes you think about what goes on behind the scenes. He told them to forget it and took the dog home. Our dog was absolutely parched after sitting there for 3 hours for absolutely no reason. Never again!!!

I always get Ollie « The Works » and BB&B has been very consistent so far (been with them for almost a year). They always provide Ollie with great baths and cuts and provides the services on time.
