I've been to the top supermarkets, and although it's hard to believe Giuseppe's beats them all! Fantastic product selection, the freshest fruits and vegetables, and just a comfortable welcoming environment to shop in. And amazingly the day I was there they had a singer with a wireless mic roaming the aisles singing Sinatra-style songs - it was AWESOME! Could not have had a better experience!

I usually stop in quickly to grab some produce, which is usually very fresh and nice looking. Prices are higher than a regular grocery store, but everything is well stocked and if you have a keen eye you can find what you’re looking for. The prepared foods look great, and the pastry case is lovely.

What an amazing place to shop for either regular (canned goods, produce, meats, etc.) and specialty (cookies, Italian pasteries, cheeses, olives, etc.) groceries.

Absolutely love this supermarket.Everything look fresh and clean , tons of cheese options, you can do one stop shop. The staff very nice , one of the manager give my daughter a cute little toy when we check out . I am happy to have this supermarket in my neighborhood 😄

Superb, Beautiful store, lots of and lots of things to buy. They have fresh bakery, f4sh deli section, pizza, hot and cold buffet tables, sushi. Wow, f4esh seafood section is nice, lots of Italian products, pasta section, fresh produce section. You name it they have it. Staff is Superb nice, friendly and helpful. Very clean store. Must go place. Parking is not a problem. Quick service

Hopefully Carl the CEO will read this. I think this is the best place to buy real good delicious food. By far they’re the best !!As an american Italian decent my tastebuds are most critical. From the hot bar filled with scrumptious meatballs baked ziti eggplant parmigiana and fried chicken mashed potatoes cream spinach all kinds of wraps home made bread sticks unbelievable assortment of every food imaginable the list goes on. Even their coffee section is to die for. Everything is fresh. Everything is like going back to my grandmothers kitchen and tasting all the home made cooking.I can’t say anything more you just have to go there and get food from the hot bar and feel the experience.Feels like you’re at a wedding selecting from hot delicious entrees.Ok so now I get to the bad part. Every location is different but melville is like you’re being watched as today was most embarrassing. They assume you’re stealing food. You taste it and then you take the container to the check out to throw out the fork and uneaten sample of the food. At the deli they allow you to taste it. Well we did and I was approached by someone telling me I had to pay for what I threw out. Well they’re so wrong after I was humiliated they realized it was garbage that I was discarding. I guess they instruct the employees to be watchful but that makes you think you’re being watched to a degree where it was unnecessary to say anything to us. Not very accommodating which they usually are.Bottom line their employees well they’re are ok, but they seem to be Gestapos in style which that atmosphere doesn’t mix well with the ambiance. Just know that’s probably because they’re not trained to observe real issues in the store if there are any. I love going there. The music compensates for the trouble I experienced. Highly recommend this place for superb food.

Uncle Giuseppes: An absolutely wonderful shopping experience. Many times I come here just for the hot food. I'm an old-world Italian man who truly appreciates great food. When you come here, you have no fear of trying any of the food from the hot and cold buffet. All are expertly prepared, with that old-world Italian flavor. Everything is fresh. The chicken Parm, stuffed Shells, penne Ala vodka, all fabulous. This store also has everything you need to prepare your own gourmet meal, should you feel so inclined. The bakery here is just as fabulous as the rest of the place. Fresh Italian bread, cannoli, sfogliatelle, cookies, and my personal favorite tiramisu.For an absolutely wonderful shopping and dining experience, stop by or go out of your way to get here. It's definitely worth the trip from anywhere.My sincere thanks to the owners for keeping this place with old world quality.

What a great,grocery store!Huge and super clean ! My fist time was there, but not the last! Many-many store made products. Cheese section was my favorite, there are no surprise you can have tasting! The Fondant omg ,one of my favorite desserts strawberry, banana or any fruits covered with chocolate. They made, front of you.You can get everything in the same store, hot or cold food, served and packed beautifully! Price is affordable also, and the store have a big parking lot.What else I can say ?Have a great grocery shopping!😊

Food and people are great. Not enough space in the aisles...easy to bump into others and get bumped into. Parking lot is a nightmare. Stop signs needed immediately after entering near the Route 110 main entrance. Dangerous. Also, the traffic light (leaving the main entrance) is too short and you typically need to wait 2 light changes to get out and make a left. Both lanes should be allowed to make the left.

Excellent place for prepared foods, fresh pastas, produce cheeses. Fantastic bakery better than almost all freestanding ones. I mean, really, you can go just for the bakery. Meat department is good, fish market is so-so.

Unbeatable selection for prepared Italian foods. Great pizzeria and much more. The supermarket is almost an afterthought! Amazing hot food selection, friendly deli county w top quality meats, and a full pizza selection that beats everyone in town. The freshest produce ever. A little Pricey but worth it. Fresh breads and meats too. highly recommend it.

Had an issue At the Melville store , with one item the manager was terrific. No questions asked was able to replace what I brought in and it was on Easter when they were very busy. They were pleasant kind and I Will always shop at uncle Giuseppe‘s.

50% off the food bar from 7:30pm till closing. My husband had meatballs, chicken cutlet parmigiana, baked ziti and eggplant parmigiana for under $10.00. He said it was delicious.

A woman at Cash register one, was super rude and racist. She treated us differently than other customers and refused to admit when she made a mistake. She started yelling at us too and all the people in the store were really uncomfortable! She made us go back and forth in the line and it was a GIANT headache. She really just made things so much harder for us when we’re just trying to get our food.:( I liked this place but I doubt any of us are gonna come back after seeing this behavior.

I stopped quick for some groceries and lunch. I picked this delicious quinoa/brown spicy shrimp roll. It was fresh 😍and out of this world. I love fresh sushi and I can tell if it was fresh or not. Well done! Keep it fresh and delicious Uncle G.

Uncle Giuseppe's market is almost a high end supermarket with a mix of both prepared foods and groceries. It has hard to find/specialty items. Some locations have a pizzaria. Of all the locations I've been to, they all seem to be on the newer side, well maintained and fairly clean. Shopping carts are all in good shape too. Aisles are well stocked and neat. Customer service is very good. Of all the food I've eaten there, everything has been above average in taste, if not excellent. A minor drawback is the pricing of many things. While there are some deals to be had, buying prepared foods can be the equivelant or more than a restaurant. There is a serve yourself food bar which strikes me somewhat as unsanitary, more so bc of the people using it, not the stores upkeep. Parking at all visited locations is ample.

The employees especially the cashiers (Dayana) need better training. I go to this market on a regular basis. She gave me terrible service, I asked her the price of some of the items and she proceeded to ignore me and when I asked her again she told me that why didn’t I check the price before grabbing the things. When I was just asking some simple questions. I have never experienced a single bad service before at UG but they should definitely learn how to treat their customers. She was very arrogant with her answers. Treat everyone equally and be a professional !! I definitely won't be back!

The hot bar has more to offer than the one in nearby North Babylon. Favorites: Mac and Cheese, Baked Sweet Potato. The Mac and Cheese tastes like it was made from sharp cheese. The Sweet Potato tastes “Thanksgiving”. There are tables in the store where you can sit and eat. I highly recommend the Hot Bar, especially if you are Single.

This location, while further than the two in my area, FAR exceeded my experience for Long Island. Uncle guiseppe opened a new, beautiful market in Eatontown, NJ, on the same line as this one in Melville. How do I know you ask? I lived in Jersey and visited the new store since my family is still there. Wish they would do something similar in my area and close the East Meadow and Massapequa stores, combine them.
