2 cashiers 1 was for 15 iui items or less. Decided to ring myself out at $150 worth of overpriced groceries. The store gouges so badly on prices because they're the only Market in town. I must say though they do have the best employees as far as cashiers go. Just wish they would have more on hand.

I’ve shopped at this store for about 5 years now, and try to avoid it at most costs. But as it is a half hour closer than other stores I do stop in. I worked at a market for 9 years, as a young teen to a young adult. I smell the deli a mile away, it has a rotten odor or someone isn’t using clean mop water/leaving out the bucket or product.A ton of times I see smelly grease/liquid in the middle of the floor outside of the deli with a wet floor sign… I understand being busy but it should really be cleaned each time this happens on the spot, not a sign thrown on it. the ladies in the deli are super slow. One will be pre packing/working on something else but won’t hop in to help when there’s a huge line…The produce is usually, never fresh. This is a huge miss as most opt for a market for fresh options. You can get anything else at the dollar store next to it.. this is a huge issue that needs correction.A lot of products can’t be found in this PC, such as Turkey bacon, Turkey burgers, ground Turkey, Turkey dogs, pet food/products etc.Staff from young, mid age, to older aren’t friendly or helpful. One younger guy has been nice during all these years.For all these reasons I avoid the store. Management- times are hard but please do something to pep your employees up to give them some life in their faces- pizza Fridays, raises, a monthly gift card raffle, be kind to them, be kind, something! Come to think of it, I’ve never seen a manager at this store… managers, it’s not above you to hop on a register or pop into the deli or even mop the floor.I hope this store gets a face lift and turns into a Market 32. I doubt it as they probably make enough of profit as there’s no other supermarket around.

I normally don’t have any issues at the store and everybody’s friendly. However, today employee was a little bit rude who wasn’t even working at the time.Story: I am an Instacart shopper, I am very new to it, less than 20 orders. Every time I go to a store for the first time even if the same store just different location I always ask where would you like me to check out for Instacart ? That way I don’t do it wrong; okay so at this store I’ve done about 6 past orders, using self checkout because that’s what I was told to use when I asked the first time I did an order here.Tonight I had three order batch, the employees running the self check out, were very friendly, and gave me no issue whatsoever. HOWEVER; I was almost done checking out when somebody who looks like a customer to me that was just sitting near the self check out visiting asked me if I was doing instacart; I said yes and she says “you aren’t supposed to use the self checkout” I explained that last weekend when I did orders there the employees told me I could. Anyway, seriously she wasn’t even working, so why does she even care? Especially considering the people who are covering the self check out have no problem with it and they knew that I was doing Instacart.One thing I do know for sure is if you are not even on the clock when you work for price chopper you have zero authority. Do you have no right to say anything to me.

Friendly, most prices are good. Don't like that they take gas points off before 2 MOnths. Are up and without much notice. Also some BoGos really are not. Store is clean, miss no chairs or place for customers to sit

Price Chopper in Mechanicville is definitely over priced. A box of cereal is literally almost $2.00 more than any other store a bag of potato chips are over $6.00 a bag. They only have few check out lanes where there’s actually a person checking you out instead of checking yourself out and there’s no paper bags at self checkout you have to actually find a cashier to get paper bags to be able to bag up your groceries. This was not a good experience for me.

I was at the Mechanicville price chopper before 9 and the bottle and can return center was closed. There is no sign in the bottle and can return area or on your website that posts the hours for this center. I tried to talk to the clerk working at the self service area but she gave me a snotty attitude and told me it closed at 9 and when I looked at my watch it was 9? Please post these hours in the area and on your website and then insure your employees keep these hours- it’s very disappointing to run errands with the price of gas and find out one simple errand can not be accomplished. Very disappointing service😟

Was terrible. The store was dirty, there was only one bathroom that I could see..and it was dirty as well. The card reader did not work, leading me to be late to a internment ceremony. Will not stop there again. The one bright spot, the floral department clerk was wonderful, helping me to pick a bouquet and showing me a container for the headstone

This large Price Chopper is clean with alot of friendly faces. The employees have been helpful each time I stop in. They have a large selection of products to choose from. The isles are large, clutter free, and organized. The lines move quick and the prices are fair when comparison shopping.Plenty of parking and located along bus line.

I like the store, it's close to home and the management seems to listen. The cashiers are nice. I gave it a 4 star because the u register woman ( short, dark haired, older, glasses) is consistently a mean spirited shrew even after trying to be nice to her.

Never even been in but know people who have worked here the management is an absolute joke. Treats their employees with absolutely no respect. And minors who work there as their first job get yelled at and accused of doing things they aren't doing. Personally someone from higher up needs to be keeping track of what's going on. When I've heard stories of minors coming home early and crying because they can't stand being treated the way they are, it's honestly sickening, this place has never had my business and never will.

I enjoy the fresh appearance of the products, produce, meats, etc. The sales representatives are much more inviting and friendly than other stores. I shop for value, and with value you get something different than price. Although price is a factor, it is not my selling point, it's value. Service is extremely important to me as is selection, and the feel of your shopping experience. I genuinely enjoy the store, it's close to me, parking is fine. My time is also valuable and this store provides everything I need. I have also found a majority of the customers are friendly and helpful when I look confused, I'm a man what did you expect.

Really need this place to become 24/7 again. Being a 3rd shifter, it is terrible not having stores open between 11pm-7am on days off. It would be a great opportunity to get things done like food shopping, etc.

At times this store feels like the forgotten price chopper. Today was not that way with customers but the staff were just not all delivering. Watched as a customer was asked if they wanted carry out assistance, when they said yes boy did things slow down. To make matters worse the young gentleman whom was assigned this task, first took his time parking and sitting on a mobility cart, then just really walked with the elderly person pushing the cart. Management should correct this behavior and fast, or just stop offering carry out assistance.

This is the PC in the town where I live and we avoid it if possible. Staff is super nice but there's no excuse for the awful selection. The cheese section is a 4 foot wide fridge at the end of an isle. You don't take numbers at the deli and sometimes it's so congested and disorganized that you don't even want to bother. The store is long overdue for a remodel.

I never find everything I need, especially sale items. I only go to this store when I only need a few things quickly. Now with COVID-19 they have a sign saying to be patient and wait for cashier to clean belt. I think probably the last 5 times I have been only 1 cashier has cleaned the belt. Today the cashier seemed insulted that I was waiting and asked me if I wanted to put my items on the belt. I said I was waiting because of the sign saying to wait. She responded “do you want me to clean the belt”. She acted like I was asking her to do something extra. Why put the sign if they are not going to clean it anyway? Other price choppers I go to clean the belt without an issue.

I called this price chopper and spoke with Ashten, the floral manager, to arrange a floral thanksgiving display for my home. She was very eager to assist me with all questions I had, she took her time explaining the specific flowers she has for the season and went into great detail about the different vases and arrangements she was able to do. I was able to imagine these beautiful displays while she was describing them with such detail she was giving, you could tell that she loves her job. She was very pleasant to speak with and do business with. I look forward to ordering my displays and will do business with Ashten again. Keep up the positive attitude!

I always try to avoid this place at all cost but I had no option. I live.....maybe 5 mins away and had to stop in for some basic groceries to make my lunches for work. Anything that I found that I needed was wildly over priced and came in smaller portions. Needed milk but I wasn't paying 4 bucks for a half gallon. The store was out right nasty. The self checkout is the only way to pay for your stuff and that isn't working half the time.

The store is clean and fairly well stocked. Unfortunately, on a Sunday afternoon, a very busy time for grocery stores, there were only two people (one of whom.worked very slowly) at the busy deli. That is not the first time that has happened on a very busy day. They were out of certain vegetables I can always find at other stores and there were very few registers open. It's the only grocery store in the Stillwater and Mechanicville area and they know it in their expensive pricing and poorly staffed store.

Small store, often run out of sale items quickly. Some people here seem to have bad feelings towards instacart shoppers. Otherwise most people working here are wonderful.

Clean, well organized, good signage. Plenty of parking in lot with convenient cart returns. Nice selection of organic & gluten-free, with bakery, deli & fresh seafood counter (will steam lobster)

I don't hate price chopper I just keep having bad experience usually at the bakery this time I bought a pack of store baked rolls and they had a bunch of wax paper baked into the bottom of them, pretty sure they knew because some of it had been torn off I'm posting photos
