Beautiful casual breakfast and lunch joint around the corner from Love Lane. Serves healthy fare like bowls, salads, wraps, soups and of course EMPANADAS! They also have local beers and wines available. The outdoor space is great for catching up with friends over lunch and drinks.

Quick simple friendly attentive small breakfast lunch counter with communal table indoor seating and planted outdoor two tops outdoor tables. Nut milk option and also has prepared food and small selects grocery (chips popcorn olive oil pickled items tea and coffee). Amazing election of empanadas (pulled pork and fresh mango for example) and baked goods (try the walnut torte!). High chair available for communal table with colouring book and crayons!

Decent food, but really slow serviceWent for lunch, second in line but it took 10 minutes before we could order. Ordered 4 empanadas and said we were seated outside. Twenty minutes later we were still waiting- turns out they forgot our order.One we got them the empanadas were ok - nice pastry, but a little sweet and dry. Pork and mango was our favorite.The store wasn't that busy, but the staff still seemed very overwhelmed. I don't think we'll be back for a while.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I always get the “power bowl” and it is delicious; usually buckwheat, black beans, avocado and whatever roasted veggies they have (sweet potato, bok choy, etc) served with an egg.Everything here is fresh, and homemade. The salad case is a great option for a quick grab-and-go lunch. I have never had anything here I didn't like. Sometimes I just grab homemade hummus from the fridge, and sometimes I treat myself to probably the best acai bowl on the north fork. GO!!! You will not be disappointed.

Love the food, love the concept, love the casual outdoor seating. Long time customer but… order lunch empanadas or the $96 platter & you’re given chimichurri sauce (only if you ask) or the salsa Tojo. Buy a dozen at $43: NO WAY! I bought 16 empanadas yesterday for a small party & owner Luci would not give me a drop of any sauce. She wanted me to buy the sauce. To me that’s the equivalent of not being given the grated cheese with the pasta or the soy sauce with the sushi. I understand running a business is challenging (especially during these times) but the service has been very off the last few times I’ve been in and this is really the icing on the cake. Time to start checking out all the other very delicious lunch options the North Fork now has to offer.

I'm never disappointed. Food is always freshly prepared from fresh ingredients, and everything is always delicious and healthfully prepared. The baked empanadas are amazing, and the cheese and olive ones need to be a permanent menu fixture!

I love this place! It is as its title suggests. The food all seems to be locally sourced. I think also organic. The ingredients are interesting. Its also not greasy or too salty. I could tell they put a lot of thought into feeding people local, healthy organic food. Also they have the rainbow flag on the front door and that makes me smile everytime I walk in.

We drove from Long Beach... hit traffic... so worth it!!!!! I purchased the incredible bread pudding with chocolate, famous empanadas, chocolate cookies and my family loved everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️ My new favorite place!!!!! They also have other incredible items. Must go and check it out!!!!!

Amazing, delicious and healthy food. This is a small shop with one community table inside and a few small tables outside. I usually get food to go here. If the weather is good, sitting outside is also nice. They have great house made roasted hot and iced coffee. They also have homemade pies, quiches, empanadas, scones, muffins, salads and other bakery items. They use fresh, local ingredients in everything they make. Local strawberries are currently in season (June). Today I had homemade strawberry scones which were delicious. I will definately be back for more.

We love Goodfood. It's like eating really good home cooking! The ingredients are fresh and flavorful - with a good selection to eat there or take home. The "nightly dinners" are terrific when you don't have time to cook! Goodfood. is a great addition to the North Fork!

love this place. all the salads are amazing, the kale caesar salad with butternut squash is genuis. the almonds are a great touch. i do wish they were open monday and/or tuesday :(

Awesome!!! Originally from the North Fork, but having lived on the South Fork for many years, when I moved back over in 2000...great food was hard to come by on the North Fork...even a good bagel was scarce! So, I have over the past 16 years seen the constantly evolving changes in great markets and restaurants on the NF...places come and go...so, I constantly make note of the best and a new favorite is Goodfood on Pike Street in Mattituck. I love to cook and bake, so I am a harsh critic and Goodfood did not disappoint in any category. Stopped in Saturday afternoon (2/20/16) and I can assure you that this place may be a local secret now, but is destined to take off. Limited seating inside, and outdoor tables for nicer weather. Tons of good food to take out! The steak sandwich was incredible, as was the minestrone soup for my friend and butternut squash for me. Took home white bean/garlic dip, quacamole, and hummus....white bean a little runny, but all tasted great. Also sampled walnut tart..yum! Try the quiche...excellent. Kale salad, empanadas, great...I just kept saying OMG! While Love Lane Cafe has slipped a little in my estimation (and is constantly packed!) try Goodfood....they may have to expand, but until then do take out and enjoy!!!

Really is Good Food. I couldn't decide what to get they had so many delicious healthy options. The empanadas are first rate. We loved the salads too.. Nice to sit out back with our dog. Will be back when we are out on North Fork.

Food is ok, portions run a little small. It has a cold and uninviting atomosphere , seemed better when it first opened. Staff seems like they could care less about the food or being there, they seem confused even when theres two customers there. Tables and chairs are really uncomfy.

Feeling cheated! Ordered two steak tacos for lunch. Terrible cut of meat. Chewy, cold, grizzly and very little amount of London broil all for the very expensive price of $10 ! Worst lunch on long island I've had. Lesson learned... :(
