My masseur from South Hampton hospital recommended this shop. He is a native to this area and a serious fisherman. I learn a lot about local fish and shellfish from him. It was busy on Friday afternoon. 5 people were cleaning the fish on the back and 6 people were working behind the counter. They had good variety of fish and shellfish and looked fresh. Also the price was very reasonable and service was fast. The local fluke I got was really fresh. I could make sashimi or ceviche. The Calamari was also fresh. I also got flounder fish roe with I haven’t seen it any other fish store in East end. I cannot wait to try some new recipe with it. This is the far best fish store(fresh local products and reasonable price) around Hamptons. I wish it is closer to where I live…

This market is awesome!!!! The freshest most broadly extensive array of seafood you will EVER encounter. I went yesterday because I was on a mission to get a bunch of Steamers. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the nicest,cutest guy who was extremely kind and helpful. I was visiting my family as I’m from Florida. You would think that WE in Florida have the great seafood hook up but sadly in my area,Tampa Bay, we do not. I’ll definitely be paying this place a visit whenever I’m in town. Thank you and until next time…great job guys!!! The best!

I went here on a Saturday & it was crowded but there are many employees working there & they take care of you right away. The fish is fresh & the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back again & the person that took my order was very professional and courteous.

My only quarrel with this place is you can’t leave a tip on debit .. I’ve watched them service 1 person per 3 three minutes and that’s with 10 people behind the counter ... the line is ALWAYS long but somehow someway they fill orders faster than I can change get to the register. Order outside and in at record speedsFresh seafood and NOBODY is beating their pricesZuppa di Pesce for eight for $150!! Great selection of fresh seafood, including shellfish and whole fish. It’s always busy but staff are attentive and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Prepared food is pretty good as well, highly recommend the seafood salad.

This is what a real seafood market looks like. They offer a ton of different things. We got oysters, they were delicious. And we got lobster claws. We ordered tails, but they gave us claws instead on accident. We didn’t realize until we got home, so check your order before you leave. The staff was very nice to let me use the restroom. I would definitely go back anytime I need seafood.

Fabulous, fairly priced fish market. A hidden gem for anyone doing their own cooking locally of further east in the hamptons. The store is always fully stocked. There are plentiful, knowledgeable staff. I have never been disappointed, and I encourage you to explore this gem.

Went first thing Sunday morning and let me tell you so worth it place already had a line out the door 10 min before opening my dad made some fresh seafood soup with fish clams and crab and it was the best seafood I’ve had in a while

Fish tasted fine and fresh, its just tough to get past the smell of the shop and the flounder sitting in stagnant water, fish piled on top of each other instead on flat on ice. I have never been in a place that smells like this- except maybe Fruit Tree/Giuntas on sunrise in Copiague and Johns in Plainview. Fish shops should not smell like this. No need to address the things I mentioned since they have rock bottom prices and are always busy.

Didn't actually visit, just stuck at a traffic light on my way to the Poospatuck reservation. Haven't made a purchase there since took early retirement at 62. Few times been in the area since haven't had sufficient funds.But folks who live up West say the quality is still terrific.Most folks here in Riverhead use the original Bouy One anyway.

Everyone knows & loves Mastic Seafood. Who's known for their Good prices, Freshest Seafood! There is nothing better than buying your seafood from a "Seafood Market" especially with the health restrictions Mastic Seafood is like Family to the neighborhood they know how to package well & store the seafood to keep it at it's temp as well as safety. They will clean & gut it if you like as well. & If you want anything special a large quantity all you have to do is let them know in advance! I have been a customer of Mastic Seafood since my kids were babies & now are adults with their own kids & they go to mastic Seafood too! Mastic Seafood is the GO-TO for your FRESH SEAFOOD @ Prices you can afford!! I AM THE BIGGEST SEAFOOD LOVER! I don't eat octopus 🐙 though 😂!

Fresh seafood at good prices served by friendly people. The prices are very good, especially compared with the famous Cor J (now known as Lighthouse Seafood) in Hampton Bays who have become ridiculously overpriced.
