The assistant store manager of Massena, John was not only rude but also aggressive and quite frankly, wrong. When ordering a substantial amount of insulation with a free 24hr machine rental my husband went to pick the order up. The front desk said there would be a deposit, my husband said um no where on the site does it mention a deposit. Enter “assistant manager John”. John told my husband that the deposit was on the website and it would be 200 dollars. After some back and fourth about the deposit my husband said “I’ll be back”. John decided to say “you can pay for the deposit or I’ll cancel your order”, my husband continued outside. I went in and stated there is no note of any deposit anywhere on the website. He then showed me that on his side he could see a 150 dollar deposit fee. I told him you can’t even see the machine on the customer App. Reluctantly, I agreed to pay. He then charged me 255 dollars. After telling my husband 200 moments earlier, where did the money go who knows? He was extremely rude. I will continue to write reviews and call the manager until his rank of assistant manager be revoked. Stepping towards my husband aggressively will not be tolerated. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran and his PTSD could have easily been triggered by this event. As an emergency room nurse I could never imagine of acting this way towards a patient or the consequences I would face. I am very disheartened by the inexcusable actions of the assistant manager John. Veterans, Lowe’s is amazing. If they would have had the machine we needed we would have shopped there. From now on. We will wait, it’s worth it.

Although home depot is convenient I will not shop here. The 1st reason would be the way veterans are treated, it seems the veterans discount is basically for show with limits on this and that, and for a older veteran who isn't tech savvy it's damn near impossible to use. 2nd they may have 50 associates standing around none are available to help. So if you want a better overall experience drive to Lowe's.

It's a smaller Home Depot with no tool rental center but has almost all the things you would expect. The garden center is fairly small and has a limited selection for outdoor plants.

They have friendly staff and they are very helpful. They usually aren't hard to find either they are all over. This store is huge and has pretty much everything you need for working on anything in your home and all different brands of tools. And they have alot of sales especially around the holidays.

Can’t take items back for refund or exchange without a receipt anymore even if it’s obviously there brand. I’m stuck with four wrong sized doors and they wouldn’t even exchange them for the correct size. So now I have $250 worth of doors that won’t work, and it’s the last sale they ever get from me. Their customer friendly policy’s made it worth shopping there but now they don’t care about the customer so shy shop there.

I went to buy flowers. I asked if they had any Bee Balm and they thought I was looking for some kind of insecticide or something. When it was explained that it was an actual flower, they were surprised but willing to admit they weren't familiar with every flower and offered an apology. So I say they have really good customer relations, but they didn't have what I actually wanted. Hence four instead of five stars.

I had 2 store associates gang up on me and yell at me after asking if a tool could be modified. Not their business what I do once I buy a tool. They don’t keep a distance from you, horrible customer service, store associates are extremely incompetent and rude. Not helpful at all. I left without purchasing $500 worth of tools due to the lack or professionalism and respect. Do not recommend this store at all and I’ll be contacting their corporate office.

Only needed 5 gal gas cans and they had them all! Well stocked store!But wish they carried both manual and electronic siphone pumps too as it's Wintertime and a lot of fuel powered equipment fail and need safe disposal drainage to be serviced.

My husband and I just bought a home and it needs some fairly substantial work. Cliff (in flooring) and Karl (in paint) told us exactly what we needed but best of all brought us right to everything. They also got us the best deals. As we were checking out the service person, Ricky, made sure to look for additional discounts in case any had been missed. Everyone was just so helpful and friendly. We will 100% be back for everything else we need!

Their self check out system is very smooth and easy to follow directions. No scanning over a desktop it's all done with a hand scanner. Choice of products is great too.

Had an issue with my tax exempt, rather than the store helping, I had to talk to someone sounding like a foreigner to address my issue. Took me 45 minutes on the phone to clear up the issue. Home depot could have had it done in 15, hmm go figure. 🤔🤨

Poor customer service. No one calls you back when they say they will. Delivery was suppose to be 7-10 days. It has now been nearly a month and I have to call the store to ask when it will be here? No one takes there customer service role seriously. They act like they are there for there own reason and that customers are just and annoyance and an interruption to there day. Customers will go to stores where they can be appreciated and respected. Without customers, people employed in customer service do not have a job. Home depot employees work for the customer, not the other way around.

Not only did they not inform me of the carpet taking a month and them canceling the order and reordering. They did not tell me when it arrived to set up a delivery date. Then when they brought it I paid extra to have it come through the door of my home and they left it outside.. not happy with the service. And when I called to inquire about it they were rudeWill not order from here again.
