I really like this store. It is very clean, and they usually have some pretty good deals. I strongly suggest getting the advantage card, it's free and you'll save a lot more money with it. The staff is mostly friendly and the lines aren't ever long because they actually have enough staff working the cash registers unlike going to Walmart. Soda is almost always on sale.

Decent grocery store with a lot of generic staples and surprising amount of specialty items for Asian or Mexican Cuisine or gluten-free or organic. Produce is sometimes nice and fresh other times you have to be careful because it's starting to wilt or the berries are drying out on the bottom of containers. Similarly the meat packaging sometimes looks like it has been sitting there too long and I've seen a couple bloated cellophane wraps indicating the meat has gotten too warm.

Great selection. Staff are all friendly and helpful. A great grocery shopping experience. We're visiting from Ottawa, Canada and we always stop here.

I bought a marble bread at the massena bakery. I bought it the day before Thanksgiving. It was the best I have bought there in years. Good job bakery.

Clean and well organized. Staff friendly. The young man who bagged my groceries offered to assist me out to my car. Awesome. First time since before Covid that I was asked. Put a smile on my face. There just may be hope for this world after all. Would have been 5 stars but I was informed that I would be charged a fee for cash back on my SS debit card. Not awesome.

Store is clean and stocked there were no boxes in the way the aisles are wide and it carries a good amount of variety. Only down side they don't carry one item that they used to. The cashier I dealt with was cheerful and patient while I searched for my advantage card.

DONT FALL FOR OUTDATED GROCERY STORE SAVINGS!For years there's been a variation of grocery stores targeting shoppers based on income,As we all know Aldi's was always known as extreme savings on groceries at a much lower quality. Save a lot and Walmart as a middle ground and also better quality items; and places like price chopper were always by far the most expensive but have the best quality food.What most people still haven't caught on to is that since covid and the drastic inflation out country faces, EVERY STORES ITEMS ARE THE SAME COST!I've done price checks and realized this. So basically if I'm paying the same prices no matter where I shop, I definitely want the best quality food I can get, and that is PRICE CHOPPER;their bakery, deli, seafood and meat are all unmatched by any other store.Also they have loads of desirable items not found anywhere else.And on top of it all they have the most friendly and helpful employees I've seen anywhere.So in review I myself will only shop there until the other stores go back to their old reduced prices. And for everyone's highest satisfaction, I advise everyone to shop there.You won't regret it!

The store is very clean and well stocked. The three stars are because of the miserable person at the customer service desk. She is always unfriendly. I always try to avoid her because she can ruin a person's day with her attitude.

The food at Price Chopper is substantially more expensive than Walmart. I like to buy my meat from Price Chopper even though it’s more expensive I feel it’s better quality than Walmart the problem is that the meat department and deli workers are absolutely miserable if you ask them for anything. I like really thick steaks so I ask for them to cut them for me. Without a doubt every single time the meat cutter with the mullet is very sarcastic and condescending. He throws things around and slams things. This has happened to me at least six times. I’ve complained to other employees twice and the last two times directly to the store manager. I’m done. I’ll never step foot in Price Chopper again until the company can teach these employees how to be respectful. I worked for P&C foods for 10 years and I would never dream of treating a customer the way they treat theirs.

Very well kept and well stocked store. Prices are much higher than Walmart unless there is a sale. Their produce is top notch, more expensive than other places but well worth it. Lines tend to be a little out of control mid day when people are heading home from work.

What a lovely surprise when I went to the store a couple of days ago. The aisles were designated as one-way and the register waiting spaces were marked. I would like to see one-way aisles continued forever. I use a riding cart, and many times the road was blocked as customers stopped to browse or chit-chat. Browsing is necessary, mid-aisle chatting not. Everything was so clean and neat. It was a real pleasure to shop. Thank you all for your caring service.

A little more expensive than the local mega-mart that also sells groceries, but I trust their meat counter. They also have a much better beer selection and had Crispy Crowns in stock when nobody else did. It's also nice to not feel like you need a "Silkwood shower" after shopping there.

I really want to give this store a 5 star rating, but there are a few staff members that need to get a different job; their laxidasical demeanor can be seen from a mile away and it is quite frustrating to witness. I know that if I were an employee at this site, I would be beyond irritated with my co-workers because SOMEONE has to pick up the slack so that specific jobs can get done!

Very disappointing with the size of the lines and the speed of which people get out. Other local stores have introduced electronic cash outs and they desperately need it, the building is not capable of supporting lines and through traffic shopping. Also incredibly dissatisfied that products in Canton are not available in Massena. Their app is troublesome and not user-friendly like Walmarts.

I came to visit my daughter, and she bought a gluten-free chocolate cake, and it was really good!! I personally like to shop at smaller grocery stores. It makes me happy that they have most things my daughter shops for.

Great place to shop especially with coupons! Fresh produce and good meat. Little pricey if youre on a budget but definitely worth every penny. My lady loves their cottage cheese lmao (she DOES NOT like name brand cottage cheese.) Quick and friendly too, bakery? You have to check it out. Amazing work and custom cakes and all that for parties and other shindinks.

During one visit notice in Produce while examining Mandarine Oranges one 3 lb bag looked old and out of place. Checked expiration date and found it 2 weeks past pull date and it felt light.Weighted it and found it weighted 2 and 3/4 lbs instead of labled 3 lbs. Reported it to produce stocking clerk and instead of properly pulling unfit package, the clerk put it right back to continue selling! Reported it to stote management. Don't know what action is being taken to correct this employee behavior. Keeping outdatrd food merchandise on shelves and short weighting customers is against the law!😠I worked all grocery store department but meat during my adolescence for 7 years.

It's a great grocery store,has everything you need or want.all the department s is new tile. Eventually price chopper will change to "market 32" store's.more improvements are happening.

Products here are always much fresher than walmart or aldis and they make more of an effort to buy local produce than the other two grocery stores in town as well. They definitely are the more expensive store but you get a higher quality product. This is my preferred store

Price Chopper used to be the best grocery store in the North Country and Massena and Ogdensburg stores were the best of the Price Choppers. But in recent weeks, they seem to have declined in that there are large areas of empty shelves and fewer registers are staffed, yet demand is as high as ever. Canton and Potsdam have declined the most but the decline has started in Massena as well. But, the staff is very nice and friendly which blunts what would otherwise be a mildly unpleasant experience.

Price Chopper is a great place to grocery shop. Their produce is always fresh an wonderful. The also have a great bakery, wonderful fish department, both fresh and frozen, and an awesome meat department.
