I have a Yorky five months old. This was our first experience at Perfect Paw very happy with the grooming because he was very matted. I didn’t think he can look as good as he does and the people were just wonderful. I will definitely be back there again. love Perfect Paw Maria did an awesome job on my little furbaby ty so much 🐾❤️🐾

Maria & Margaret (sisters) are 2/3 of the groomers for the salon & they are great at what they do. I'm reading other reviews on here about people bringing their dog in & it comes home shaved short. I'll tell you rn, these girls DONT want to shave your dogs. They would much rather give you what you want but when a dog comes in and they have to make a choice for the safety/comfortability of your dog they do what's best for the animal. Most pet owners are uneducated on the proper way to brush OR just choose not to and then want their dog to look like. A show dog every 12 weeks(when it should be 8). Then complain when the girls have no other choice but to take it all off. These girls are amazing & no matter what anyone says they love these pups and make the choices for them not the parents. Keep up the Hey, doing well, how are you? Work girls. Happy anniversary!

Went to take my puppy who is high energy she was there for 3 hours only to be told she was “too difficult” to service. Picked her up wet and still had to pay. Went to Bark Avenue in smithtown Janet was so sweet. My dog was done in under 2 hours and was told she was a little difficult but manageable they loved her and she looks amazing!

I just picked up my mini golden doodle and as usual she looked great. She Is not anxious being dropped off or picked up. They take good care of her and are kind and caring,. We had also taken our border collie lab there - some of the groomers wouldn't take her because she was so excitable and didn't like being groomed. But Perfect Paw took her and was wonderful with her and made her look beautiful even when cancer had made her just skin and bones.

Brought my golden retriever to the perfect paw for the first time, I am always nervous about leaving my dog with any groomer. When I walked in I was welcomed by the receptionist and she was so knowledgeable and kind. Betty my golden was so calm and happy that made me feel so comfortable leaving her. I came to pick her up and she looked so beautiful. She went in happy and left happy. Her groom was exactly what I asked for. The owner has such a kind heart my Betty walked right to her and she’s alwYs so scared going to groomers. Betty will be going to the perfect paw monthly for her grooms.

They are so professional with my two dogs. My dog has been matted and they were very cautious while grooming. I totally recommend this place. The owner and receptionist are very very polite and friendly.

Have been taking my dogs to Perfect Paws for over 14 years. Maria and staff always give my boys a lot of TLC. Once they were advised they could reopen from the pandemic they called us with an appointment and were able to fit us in a couple days after opening. We love this staff and would not bring our boys anywhere else but Perfect Paws. Would definitely recommend+++++

I never write negative reviews, but I am absolutely horrified with how my dog looks after being groomed by perfrct paw. He is a beautiful yorkie, that was shaved down to his skin.I spoke with the groomer before hand and explained how I wanted my dog cut and even showed pics of him the way he usually looks groomed. In all fairness, half of his back was already cut from another groomer, who couldn't finish him due to his anxiety. I understood that his fur would need to be cut to match the other side of him. But, he was not shaved!! and I clearly said to leave head, beard and legs longer, just trimmed. I can't even recognize my dog. My dog also came home bleeding from his paw. When I questioned it, the groomer did not have a response or even an apology Unless you want your dogs scalped, and injured do not go here. .

I've been using this family for the last 3 pets which equates to approximately 13-14 years. They are amazing ! Awesome with your furry family members. I highly recommend them and still continue to use them on my new addition. My 2 previous pets were a 132lb. Bull Mastiff and a 12lb. Poosh. I now have a Golden Doodle and have just had him groomed for the first time and he is magnificent. No matter what size or hair or age......they're your groomer.

I have taken me 2 puppy’s to Perfectpaw for about 4 years. They really know how to bathe and and my babies look beautiful. My GS has an allergy so they have a special shampoo for him that helps him so he doesn’t itch and he has an under coat. The de shading helps too. My Wheaton requires a lot of care and they know just what to do with her. I wouldn’t trust my babies with any other professionals. They take care and have patients. I highly recommend the Perfect Paw

The place is clean and the owner is friendly, she makes sure the cages are locked and the doors closed so no dog can escape. She makes the shop safe and is a caring person. She also uses tearless shampoo to not irritate the dogs eyes, I know some shops that don't, but perfect paw is caring!

I have been bringing my bichons here's for many years, they always look so beautiful, and smell so good. The staff is great, very friendly, my dogs love them. I highly recommend them, great place, they give the dogs love, and affection!!!!

Great place! I've been going here with my two dogs for approximately eight years. Perfect Paw was located in Bethpage on Hempstead Turnpike before this new location. They are very friendly but of course that doesn't substitute for a great place for dogs. They do what u ask and are great with animals. I have a loud Yorkie and a timid Maltese. My Maltese shows no sign of being afraid when I enter this location. I moved from Levittown to Yaphank and still travel to Perfect Paw for my dogs. My dogs are my children and I don't settle for anything but the best for them. Try them!

I took my puppy for his first groom here because a family member takes her dogs here and recommended them to me. I call to make an appointment for a Tuesday because that's my day off (not realizing that's the day they have a grooming sale) the young lady said they were booked but she can do Thursday. I leave work early and take my dog on Thursday and see a sign on the front window saying they have a discount groom for small dogs on Tuesdays, figures. My puppy gets his groom and I hated it just beacuse he was cut so short, I couldn't even recoginize him. A month goes by and his hair is growing back and his nails as well. He really needed his nails cut so my boyfriend calls them and asks if he needs to make an appointment for this and the price, an older women answers and told him thats its $10 everyday but $5 on Tuesdays and you dont need to make an appointment. I thought perfect since i'm off Tuesdays ill take him Tuesday. Tuesday comes around, I'm driving to the place and I call them up to let them know i'm coming, I confirm the price and a young lady rudly says their not doing that special anymore. I said oh well my boyfriend spoke to someone just 2 days ago and they told us about it, she was so rude no apology or nothing so of course I took my dog elsewhere to get his nail cuts and I will continue to go to that place not perfect paw.
