I absolutely love the groomers here. They are truly amazing group of ladies. I have 2 male Yorkies, Finn & Jake then there is the baby girl shortie, Princess that lost the use of her back legs at 2 years old. I could not find a groomer for her. Lucky Paws is the only place that was willing to groom by little Princess and she looks and feel great after every visit. They are so kind a gentle with my fur babies. I will continue to drive the hour there so my dogs can get the great treatment they receive there. The prices are great too.

Easy to get appointments but disappointed by last two visits here. Was told my dog was not behaving during nail trim and trying to bite the groomer. Have recently gone to different groomer and they said my dog is very tame and easy to groom. We had great experiences in the past here but the newer groomers either do not have enough experience or patience.

Ollie who is a Shih Tzu has been groomed every other Tuesday since 12 weeks old . Yolanda the prior owner of lucky paws was an outstanding person ,and groomer . Since selling to lucky paws it has been a complete disaster . The owner purchases many grooming salons during and after covid that were not able to make it . I continued to go and keep trying different groomers. With all sorts of problems like groomers not showing up in the morning , appointments being canceled appointments and poor quality products on Ollie , being rescheduled , and I still went like an idiot, giving them the chance until Recently, when I picked up my Ollie and had to rush him to the emergency room. He was bleeding profusely from his toe to later to find out that his toenail was cracked at the quick, and he needed to be put on anesthesia and remove the nail. My pet and i were traumatized. Needless to say four weeks later, that the owner or the manager, (Mercy )has not gotten back to me and I have not received full payment for my medical bills, I strongly suggest not going to this business.

This is by far the BEST groomer we have EVER had! Our Bella never looked better!!!! Dropped her off looking a bit disheveled and she came out looking absolutely PERFECT and smelling like a dream!Would NOT hesitate to recommend this business to anyone. To say that I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED would be an understatement!Thanks Paw Central for the AMAZING job you did on our baby!

Update: 12/2023 I can’t believe this place is still operating with such high reviews. These glowing reviews are ALL from when Yolanda was the owner. This place is a disaster. Never got back to me and dogs keep getting hurt there. Do not use!UPDATE 10/9/21: Never received a call from the new owner as promised. We had “rebooked” from the last incident and that new appointment was today. We got a call today CANCELLING because, and I quote, “the groomer is so sick she’s throwing up and at the urgent care”How much more unprofessional can you get? We’re done with this place. Take your pets elsewhere.I absolutely hate the fact that this place is still operating under the name Paw Central. You are NOT the paw central that all of us knew and loved.FYI… this is not Yolanda’s place anymore for those of you that knew and loved her. The new “owner” is completely absent, staff are unhelpful, rude and don’t know a thing about what they are doing. We booked an appointment over a month ago. I found it odd when I didn’t get a text or call the day before so I called them. We weren’t in the system and there was no appointment. The woman on the phone was unapologetic and said they were actually “cancelling” actual appointments that day so they couldn’t fit me in at all.I’ve been given the run around after calling multiple times demanding to speak to who is in charge. Nobody there would take my phone call or give me answers. Owner is not on site. They told me I’d get a call- still waiting two weeks later. Management should be ashamed of themselves. Please, for the love of all things pets, do not send your pets here.PS … found out from our new groomer that “lucky paws” has been trying to buy out groomers all over Long Island. Luckily, she didn’t sell. Watch out for this horrible company.

Awful experience. My regular groomer was closed because of personal reasons so I made an appointment here for my maltipoo. Awful. Took over 3 hours and my 10yr old dog has never looked so bad after a hair cut. His face was uneven. Still had tear marks that didn’t look fully cleaned. He was scalped and has never been scalped before. His ears were still wet and not fully dry. Beware before you bring a dog here that has anything other than short fur.

Since lucky paws has taken over what was formerly paw central, it’s been a guessing game as to what they are going to charge you, make no mistake as the price just goes up on each visit. As a courtesy to their customers maybe an email or a text that prices will be increasing, which I would totally understand with the price of everything going up. What is unacceptable is an almost increase of 30 dollars between my most recent grooming session and the one 8 weeks prior. They do a great job grooming my dogs, a little more transparency with what they’re charging would be nice.

Yolanda has been grooming my three dogs for eleven years! Not only do I love her but my dogs love her. Her prices are fair and she is very trustworthy and professional. She works hard and takes her business and the care of my dogs seriously. I challenge anyone to find a better groomer. You can’t.

You are greeted with smiling faces from the moment you walk through the door. It then translates right to my dogs. Hugs and warmth to them immediately. The grooming is by far the best I’ve had for my two yorkies. They are happy and not stressed at pickup. If this doesn’t sum up what you want for your pets, I don’t know what does. They are great at what they do… and it shows in all aspects of how they run their business!!

Absolutely so incredibly happy with Paw Central. Owner is so sweet. Highly recommend,I left this review before owner sold to Lucky Paw, which is what the new owner renamed but when you look then up everything comes up Paw Central still.. Had a 1:00 appointment today which I booked 5 weeks ago, went in had no appointment for me, owner was on video call, no help, person she was talking to keep giving her the BIG EYES as to say no I don't want the money which is fine, attitude as soon as I walked in.. WILL FIND A NEW GROOMER. I do not need peoples attitude I deal with that enough at work.

Since our former place was closed down, we follow our groomer Lisa to Lucky Paws. This place is clean, sufficient parking, comfortable for my pup. The person at the front desk very friendly and attentive. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new place.

Can’t say enough!!! Took my one year old very anxious Morkie there. Paw Central could NOT have been nicer. They were kind and patient and reassuring to him. They took their time and made sure to comfort him all along the way. He came out with his tail wagging!! And I know next time he’ll be even more comfortable because of the kindness he was treated with.I’ll never go anywhere else ❤️.5 stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I expressed my main concern and what I wanted. Which was the head of my dog, a slight trim, teeth and nails. I came to to pick her up and her whole body was shaved extremely short. It's winter and wanted her coat to keep her warm. My dogs hair takes 6 months to grow back and now she'll be cold on her walks. It wasn't what I asked for. I will not be going back and will not recommend this groomer to anyone.

We love Paw Central! Sunny always looks handsome at pickup. Now that he's on a regular grooming schedule, he looks good all the time! Yolanda is quick, efficient, and caring. She even noticed an ear issue, which helped us get our dog to the vet for a checkup.

Awful people! Completely unqualified to groom dogs. They SHAVED our golden retriever which any decent groomer would know you NEVER do. Owner was completely unhelpful and unapologetic. My dogs coat will never grow back again and they take no responsibility. Just the worst!!!*Edit 6/7/19 As you can see below the owner takes no responsibility for her mistake. My fiancé was very clear about the grooming directions. She specifically said “do not shave my dog”. After spending 3 hours at the groomer and right at closing time we get a call that we can pick him.up. Obviously they rushed the cut to get it done at the end of the day. We had brought him there multiple times, and every other time he was groomed properly. This time however he was groomed by a woman who was either new, or we never met. She even told us that there were notes on the computer saying to “trim” him. Since when does trim mean shave?Offering to refund us $10 after doing permanent damage to our dog is just a slap in the face. Stand by your work. Is customer satisfaction completely irrelevant to you? Our pet will never be the same because of you. Does that even mean anything to you?

Great groomer!!! I have a 1 year old goldendoodle and have been to 2 groomers who just shaved him and didn’t take the time to work through a couple matts. Yolanda at Paw Central was amazing. I hope Sawyer was good because he is now a “lifer.”

Amazing grooming place, they really do care about your dog unlike other groomers who leave them locked up in cages. I won't go anywhere else for my morbid and the prices are extremely reasonable for what you get!

Went there with my pup max a bichon parm mix he’s all white..it was my second time havhim groomed the first time I went somewhere else not so hot . Read the reviews for Yolanda and all were 5 stars so I went there .. omg the BEST PLACE EVER !!!
