This store is delightful. I’m not sure I ever said that about anything before but that sums it up for me. :) The variety of mostly high quality products is impressive. This business is the opposite of a big box store.There are so many good gift ideas and many beautiful and functional things to get just for yourself as well. I look forward to my next visit.

We were heading home to Connecticut and stopped by the store for lunch, perhaps a sandwich,drink and chips that can be had at most general stores. This is an overpriced gift shop in a very depressed area.I had asked the price on an advent calendar and she told me they were all marked after locating the price it was 25.99 . I think she was put off I didn't purchase it. I was considering a small box of incense for five dollars but when we couldn't find anything for lunch we left the incense and decided to look elsewhere for food.The owner shouted to us as we were leaving (yes there were other people in the store)and asked if we were intending to pay for the incense. I told she would find it in its display.Wow.... very rude, INSULTING, unfriendly, pretentious in a town where she sticks out like a sore thumb. I cant imagine how she stays open. I never thought I would have to leave such a review for a small town store. We own a home in the country in Connecticut with several real General stores and believe me, its about comforting foods, main staples and friendly proprietors that is what makes a general store.

Beautiful and wholesome, we need more places like this. When I visit my grandparents from out of town I'm glad I know I can find some things here that I wouldn't otherwise be able to. Thank you for providing such a gem to the community

Loved stopping into this store. Unique, eclectic, expansive selection of local goods, crafts, foods, superb collection of coffees and ways to brew, hand made clothing, books, candles, soaps, all small batch handmade products. Was cash only when I went in, so prepare for that. A true gem in rural NY.

Loved this gem. Full of charm, whimsy, art, organic groceries. You can bring your containers to refill rice, beans, herbs, etc. So many gift ideas and self care gifts.

What an absolute gem of a store! There are so many wonderful food staples, organic products and great brands that you won't find unless you drive a distance, all merchandised into an amazing space. I'm thrilled to have discovered Masonville General Store. The fresh section is great too and filled with organic and local produce. Clean/toxic free cleaning products, books, children's books/toys and artisan bags round out the store. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options...I could go on! Kendall is awesome and is super kind! She offered to bring in any products that are our favorites and even sent us home with a sample treat! We will be visiting weekly :) - Kim & August

I LOVE coming to this store every time I’m in the area. Cool, unique, handmade things of high quality can be found here. It’s so fun to come in and just explore what’s there. I always end up buying something whether it’s a handmade bag or a food item. Friendly, welcoming staff too :)

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this little store!!! They carry any and every organic need from essential oils to yummy dressings and sauces!! They also carry some of the most beautiful different wide variety of handmade toys to things for the home and things to wear. If you are ever within a 100 miles it is really worth the drive to come and check it out!! And the service is wonderful not only are they really nice but they can also really educate you on the uses of some of the organic products. The last visit I was lucky enough to be introduced to Elderberry spray to help boost the immune system and I am sold that it will be a continuous staple in this house because I have always been one that caught strep if it was just mentioned that someone had it and my daughter that lives in the house with me actually had a horrible case and I didn't get sick at all and I totally give the credit to the Elderberry!!! Cant thank you enough for that bit of info!!!

This is a wonderful little store with many unique items...nice not having to travel to Binghamton to get items for my vegan diet. Owners are delightful and friendly and the building is a little bit of history. Thanks for everything. Also will carry items if you ask. My daughter Caitlin loves it. Can't get enough of the locally bottle beets and garlic scapes. They don't last long.

Wonderful store with quality products, tended with care. A little of this, a little of that. Such a treat to stop on our assorted trips from Ithaca into the east and northeast. Worth the handful of miles "out-of-the-way" off 88 just to be greeted by Kendall and have a nibble of something real and delicious and cup of good quality coffee. Just go...you'll keep coming back!
