My friends family got a flat tire while at Marcellus Park. The company was able and willing to help us put the new tire on the rim and fill it with air without an appointment. The tire was able to be fixed in a quick and timely manner and for much cheaper than I would've expected under the circumstances.The employees were all very kind and helpful. Wide variety of products stocked here. Honestly was surprised by the number of things they stock that I'd only expect to see in a Lowe's or Home Depot before. The stores kindness and willingness to help in such a dyer situation means a lot to me. Very much appreciated buisness's like this where they are still out to help the people around them. I will be recommending to friends and family.

Its nice to support local businesses when we can. Especially when they are like Nightingales. The staff there is helpfull and friendly. They also have a great selection of power tools. Also, there is onsite mechanics that fix small engines..Chainsaws, lawn mowers, snow blowers etc.. they have always done good work for me. I will definately keep giving them my business.

I really like this hardware store, it has a great selection and good service. Keep up the good work! It's great to see a more traditional hardware store surviving against the big box stores. This store has a huge variety of items in a small space, relatively speaking. (And the fuel they sell is competitively priced!) The best part is the staff actually know where things are, even the younger employees, it is so refreshing to be able to quickly find someone and get real help! Thank you for working hard, running your small business, supporting the community, and clearly doing it better than most.

Holy cow this hardware store has several bright greenhouses with amazing plants! It's beautiful and accessible and I can hear Nine Mile Creek flow by as I stroll amongst the flora; a casual trek through the well-lit and well-stocked hardware store building reawakens my manly lust for POWER tools!

Great for hardware, garden, and for paints glues etc. In the spring they have a wide variety of annuals and vegetable plants.They also do repairs on garden tractors, mowers, chain saws, and a wide variety of engine driven tools and equipment.4 25 22 Got some good deals today.

One stop shopping in a right sized building I think best sums up Nightingale Mills. They offer a fantastic selection of hardware, cleaning products, small and large engine supplies, painting and staining supplies, electrical parts, lumber, and everything for your garden and landscaping. Prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely helpful.

Run by ACE Hardware now but still a great place to get garden supplies, birdseed, hardware needs and your various pet needs... even have a horse section!! Nice staff. Always helpful and polite.

What a gem this store is in Marcellus! You can get just about anything here and get your chainsaw sharpened and your lawn mower repaired (and much more). We've always had helpful, friendly service and are happy to support a local business!

Family owned and operated for several generations. Staff very friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable considering the huge number of items in stock. They also have gasoline at reasonable prices and a service department to help maintain your lawn and garden equipment

Bought a brand new husqvarna chainsaw (not from this store) and it was defective out of the box. This is the closest husqvarna warranty repair location to me so I took it there, informed the man behind the counter that this was a warranty repair and I suspected a faulty bar. A week later I get a call, chainsaw is ready and I have a hefty bill waiting for me for the repair. I inform the lady this was a warranty repair, she states that it was not covered under warranty, it was user error because I had the chain too tight and they simply put a new chain on. I told her to take the chain off as that was not the issue and i was not buying a chain when the unit is clearly defective. She was very rude and when i showed up to take my unrepaired saw they still charged me $60 for the labor. I bought another bar threw it on and it works fine as I suspected. Lazy people who just wanna charge you for parts you dont need.

Strict Return policy of 30 days sucks. I bought a saw chain to have on hand, but didn't fit. Bought a new one there, but forgot to bring the other back at the same time. When I did ask what can I do with a chain I can't use, I got the attitude of "Don't know, don't care, Your problem... Already got your money!" Sorry but I won't buy supplies there unless I have to.

As a long time neighbor of this business it has been a pleasure to know that sound advice and just the right tool for the right job are nearby. The business is well run and has always been a good neighbor. The small motor and tire shop has been a godsend many times.

Being a resident to of Marietta, I like the other reviewers, find the staff to be delightful and knowledgeable and I always strive to support local businesses. However, my experience this morning have lead me to leave this review. When I approached the entrance a man exited with no mask. I asked staff the store policy and they “people are required to wear masks but what can you do?I feel for staff who are hesitant to approach people who are non compliant and hope the store has a plan for such instances.My fear is for the staff and all of us who wear masks. We are protecting those who refuse to protect us. Those staff should not have to risk bringing COVID-19 home to their families and customers should not have to risk the same. This behavior will slow our economic recovery.

I received a sales flyer in the mail advertising Christmas trees that included a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase. At the store, I was told that the coupon did not apply to Christmas trees, which was not indicated on the coupon. Won't be shopping here again.

Liars and waste of time.Was told they would hold an item they had in stock. Got there in 20 minutes - they said it was sold. They didn't seem to care much. Apparently the post it note system they use was insufficient. Called the owner, no callback, wasted time and resources with this business.

Nightingale Mills is your quenticential hometown hardware store with all the fixings. They even have a gas pump. The plants are top notch and you can tell they put extra love and care into making them strong. If you want to start from seeds they have them too. Some people like buying their lawn tractors from home depot or lowes, but not me. Nightingale has a husqvarna showroom right across the street that also offers a repair shop. Beside that is a large selection of mulch, and past that to large covered sections of landscaping plants for season. I just cant ssy enough about this place. They rock!
