It might not have everything and sometimes the fresh produce isnt the freshest. Over all though its great and the staff is normaly very nice. If you need help with something just ask! There are only two registers but it's not normally extremely busy.*Edit*So even though they dont have the best fresh fruit and veggies I gave them a chance and got some lettuce and grape tomatos. The lettuse was pretty small and a little wilted but after the outer layer was off it was fine. The tomatos looked great and i was impressed with how firm they were. I did find one in the middle squished and thought that it was odd that one was so over ripe when the others were great. Even so i took the bad tomato out and thats when i found this white goody, stringy thing under it. It was enough to make me throw oyt my whoke salad....Once again i learned, gregs has amazing staff , but not fresh produce.

I would suggest driving the extra 20 min to Cortland before buying anything "fresh" from this store. I definitely don't recommend the deli, there's a reason why's it's been closed for so long. And the staff is just miserable. It's pretty obvious that management does not care about their customers or this store. Small Town friendly and convenient skipped this place.

our rv broke down while getting gas here and they were nice enough to let us stay in their parking lot for the night until we got it fixed. they dont have a good selection of food though, and the paper note on their dairy products scare me “all dairy products are past ‘best buy’ date”.

This store is running the best it's ever ran in the 18 years I've lived there. The new management is awesome and takes responsibility for his employees and food. But on Sunday August 6th, 2023 the red head running the office cash register, is very rude and unfortunately.

Cute little local grocery store in Marathon, NY.Some prices are insane considering there is a bigger town around 20 mins away with cheaper prices on name brand things. But in a pinch it's a great place. Friendlier than Tops in Cortland for sure! I will most likely be back for the meat selection and other odds and ends things.Update: So glad they didn't close living in the area and not wanting to drive so far after work is really helpful. I do a lot more of my shopping here than I thought. It's really convenient.

Great for the town, it helps so many people. Its convenient and in a great location for success. Sometimes good workers are hard to find in such a small area, and it shows on certain days. Some people are cut out for face to face interaction and some people arent. But prices may be a bit high but it saves people the travel time! Just catch the sales.

Store and gas are convenient enough but some of the employees have a lot to be desired.... Attempted to purchase fuel today and was treated like an idiot for stating I wanted 18 gallons. She kept insisting there's no such thing as a 18 gallon can. I kept telling her we had 1 ten and 2 five gallon cans but she took it further and questioned two other store employees on the size fuel cans were sold in. I mean seriously ... Just charge me for the fuel and be done with it ...

Great deals on great meat products. Reasonably priced and quite well stocked for a small store. Handmade subs while you wait are terrific! Get propane filled and fill up your ride too. My favorite one stop shop.

Yes it is close., I was I81, and saw the sign there is gas station, and took the exit. Find out that it closed 6pm. Right know time 6:14. What a luck. Still need a restroom.

For a small town off a highway in a rural area, Gregg's does a very nice job keeping a clean and organized store. They have nearly everything you need for a hometown grocery store and plenty of services, can return, gas, beverage.Love that I can stop for fresh fruit and veggies on a road trip gas stop!

Prices are a little steep but what do you expect from a small town. Staff is always friendly and store is always clean! Love going here to get there $4 pepperoni bag!

Surprisingly large supermarket for what looks like a pitstop from the outside. Great for regular grocery shopping and as a pitstop for road trips. They have fresh produce, various frozen food, freshly baked food, a wide range of snacks, many many drinks options including sodas as well as coffees and teas.

A regular small town grocery store they have a little bit of everything, also have a deli section for pasta salids and some hot foods.They fill propane $11 for a 20 lb tank which is pretty reasonable for our area.

I was there the price of gas was .47 cents higher then 5 miles down the road... and frankly cost of what I bought was way higher then other places one town over... yep I saw being in the middle of no-where will cost ya!!!

Small enough for the quick grabs, big enough to have a deli that does great subs and some damn fine pizza, former students working part time jobs, and gas pumps out front. Another gem in this tiny town.

Well stocked for such a small town business, there meat is very well priced, if occasionally on the edge of turning ( though I've only seen this in reduced for quick sale items)

The hours have changed to 10 -6, was 9... hate these hrs, cant get rain checks, partially stocked half the time....... store has gone back to regular hours..... good employees,.. .. shelves are restocked...... still can't get rainchecks

We stopped on our way through on a Thursday night. The store was closed early (before 6 pm), the gas wouldn’t pump for me or the guy next to me, and the workers we saw kept making remarks about people still being there.

It has been In Our home town for many many years. The owners go out of the way to accommodate any of our needs. We own a business and they are always ready and willing to help us. The staff is very pleasent.

Only 1 bathroom for the Valero gas station. Bathroom was filthy with a line of people waiting to use it. Not a good place to stop off on I-81 when refueling. It isnt right off the interstate either.... you have to drive through a town at 30 miles per hour.

What store advertises themselves while at another family store( dollar general) cursing at the employees, calling them racist, not even allowing the employees of DG to speak, threatening the employees, making fun of the employee for stuttering, threatening their customers when they speak up about the situation them walking out calling them racist redneck crackers while wearing your Gregg’s marketplace shirt so as long as this racist black male works at this store I will never be shopping at Gregg’s supermarket in marathon NY again great advertising by this tire tho
