Purchase our 4 month old puppy from Shake A Paw! They held our hand throughout the entire process. We were very well informed for the ongoing vet process and they even paid for some of her shots.. 10/10 customer service!

Poor babies…😭 they look ill and are in a BOX!?? They should be in a big room running around. Puppies were adorable. But there was a lady worker there with terrible attitude. She wasn’t nice to my mother and the price was so high compared to other stores I went to this was the highest. Poor babies were pooping diarrhea they definitely needed extra care. Also, they also mixed some dogs breeds together which I don’t mind but there was a big dog jumping on the smaller dog and biting his face he was covered in scratches. They definitely need better care and I was a bit horrified. The poor dogs were crying to be free from the tiny boxes. Some dogs looked depressed

7/22/23 My wife, Daughter and I went to Save a Paw. To look for a new puppy since our dog of 15 years had passed away. Christina and Tina both were extremely helpful, we finally adopted a Daisy dog and named him Cooper. He is 5 months old, he is such a loveable pup and smart and just an all around pleasure. Our experience at Save a Paw was the absolute best I highly recommend anyone wanting a puppy this is the place to go.

they say the puppies are okay , well in condition , up to date with shots but there are parts they left out. 1. How these puppies were so used to eating one another’s fesses. 2. Coughing , wheezing , red eyes , kennel cough , pneumonia. The list may go on and on. I have had my puppy for a few months and I have been fighting with this place. THE WORST!!!!!!! Selling a puppy with Aspirational Pneumonia !!!!! Then telling me to give her back . NEVER ! so you can do worse than what you guys do! Then telling me they can’t pay 2 weeks or half the vet bills. You guys are quick to dispose these beautiful puppies that YOU guys make ill and sick !!!!!!!!! Quick to take our money !!! But can’t take responsibilities. PLEASE SEE A VET AFTER GETTING YOU PUPPY !!!!! PLEASEEEEEEMy family spent over $4K maybe even more than $6K in total to get this puppy for me. 6 months of having her. STILL SICK !!!! I’ve spoke. I contacted. I did my part. My part now is to show how EVIL this place is

The minute my daughter and I walked into Shake a Paw, Tina and her staff treated us with the utmost respect and supplied us with abundance information before we purchased our bunny, Snow. They treated us like we were family, made us feel cordial and we would like to thank them for their knowledge and sincereness. I highly recommend Shake a Paw in Lynbrook.

My fiance bought a Boxer here and since we got him, the dog arrived sick. This dog never had a solid bowl movement. Sad that other people I spoken to also have gotten sick dogs from this place. I do not recommend getting a dog from this place.

Has the cutest selections . I love how you get to interact with the cups , the mood in there is so inviting . And there's always plenty staff around to help you with your questions . Noone rushes you out the store or interrupt your interactions with the pups . Ooh and there's always cleaning going on none stop . . We got our English bulldog(white) from there . Great experience

This was the beginning of my journey to find a puppy and to make sure they're healthy. This and hicksville aren't the places. First of all overpriced puppies for some puppies that aren't even pure bred. Huge red flag.On top of that. When I went all the puppies were sick and sleeping and looked very tired. Puppies have a lot of energy.I was interested in a shiba Inu from them and as much as i loved the pup something felt off. I then started doing research on shiba inus and I tried to get information about their parents. They said I can access it AFTER i buy the dog. RED FLAG.I would've actually felt more compelled to buy the pup if i had access to parental information. This isn't a well known fact about buying puppies but MEET THE PARENTS. If you don't get along with the mom you will not get along with the pup. And on top of that shiba inus have double coats. This shiba's coat was so thin that I saw their skin. I got my own shiba from a reputable breeder and did research and found them from the AKC (American Kennel Club) website where they have reputable breeders for specific breeds.My girl is perfect and has every shiba quality and I'm grateful I didn't rush the process. When buying a shiba you need to see if the tail is properly curled, if they have a double coat, and watch for urajiro marks on their bodies. Anything less is a puppy mill dog unfortunately.I'm not an "adopt don't shop" person but I am an adopt and shop responsibly. Do your research before getting a dog and don't rush the process. You're honestly better off getting a dog in the animal shelter if you really are in a rush to get a dog who isn't purebred.

I hate that I had to give one star.. This place ought to be out of buisiness! They sell sick dogs!!! I bought a dog Dachshund the Sat before Thanksgiving, I noticed with in the first week that the pup couldn’t see. He also had a bad cough from day one we notice the cough and the seller Tom acted as if he didn’t notice it. He then sold me a bunch of items the dog needed so he convinced me. After taking the pup to 2 vets I had to return dog because the pup was deemed not for sale by Veterinarian. I was able to get a refund for dog but not items purchased for the dog. Also I asked if no one would adopt that I would and we kept in touch the whole week. I was told by both Managers I could have the dog!! When my husband went to pick up the dog they tried to sell us another dog that seemed to be blind as well as sick…. My husband said he wasn’t interested in the one dachshund they had available…(that appeared sick) they would not give us the puppy that they told us the day before the pup was ours the breeder did not want it back…I shopped for the dog all week and prepared my home for a blind pup.. And when we arrived they basically tried to sell us another sick dog. My heart was brokered!!!! Because we would not buy the other puppy they changed they whole story lied basically…They are very unprofessional and lack empathy for their customers!!!! Do Not Spend your money here the dogs are sick and poorly taken care of they only want your money the do not care about these puppies!!! Buyer Beware!! Owner is lying the dog was promised by manager!! They over charged us for products and never gave a receipt my Husband asked for the dog by name when came in after seeing the other sick dog Tom told him he was in the back and would not render pup unless we bought a new pup! Did not have to think about blind dog would have kept that day of return but Tom stated he had to ask breeder! I personally asked if we could have the pup even after my husband left the store for the 3rd time and was rudely handled because I would not let them black ball me into buying another sick or possibly blind from the look it! They are liars I dropped dog with antibiotics for sickness I can prove it as well I have a beautiful healthy dapple dachshund from Puppy Guyz!! Who I had the most greatest experience with!! Please check other reviews because they are similar in complaint!!!! Check out Puppy Guyz if your looking for a healthy breed!!

Mean, Evil, Deceptive, and CunningThis is a dishonorable business. They’ll talk you into buying an overpriced puppy and then refuse to take it back for any reason even if the reason is protected by law. Will do anything to squeeze you dry of your money including forcing you to buy unnecessary supplies for the puppy before you are allowed to take it home.Believe me these people are dirt bags. I don’t use that term lightly. The worst businessI have ever dealt with in my life no exaggeration. They will prey on anyone including young people.Edit: I certainly have been a customer here and I am new to google reviews. If you actually took the time to read the reviews I wrote you would see they are a mix of both positive and negative. You deserve a negative review because you are the scum of the earth especially Tom and Tito.

I walked in here with my children and wanted to spend some time with a puppy we were looking to purchase. When I kindly asked, the manager approached me saying "no playtime, you need to make an appointment prior to your visit". I looked around and noticed several families being granted time to play with a pup of their choice. When I approached the families and asked if they had made appointments they all looked at me confused and responded "no, we just walked in here and asked". I felt very hurt and so did my children. I went back to the tall blonde haired manager and asked why she lied to me and she started yelling "leave me alone, leave my store" only then did I realize she did not allow us because we were jewish. She was being antisemetic. Horrible human being. I will be reporting this business. How can you lie to a customer like that. How is it ok to say yes to other guests ( Latin, hispanic, Italian) but say no to me because of what?! what would be a good reason so do such a thing? 0/5 stars

The blonde female manager was beyond rude and so unprofessional. Every time I tried speaking to an employee about the process of having some time to meet a pup in the booth, she would run over mid conversation interrupt us and rudely say there is no "free play" today and I need an appointment. I felt extremely targeted as I never asked for "free play." I asked other people in the booths if they made an appointment and they all said NO! She targeted me and my family and did not treat us equal to others! what a shame to make assumptions based on how I look or dress?? WILL NOT COME BACK!

UPDATE: 2 years later and my "babydog" is thriving! She is spoiled rotten, and lives a holistic lifestyle that I get to chose. Did I feel like I jumped off the deep end in 2020? A little, but there's not a day that goes by that I'm not grateful this girl is by my side (we've been through a lot in 2 years, she's even become my ESA) and this would not have been possible without Shake A Paw. Also worth noting that we went back for her 1 year gotcha day and Michael remembered us!!ORIGINAL: Despite what people say about buying puppies I've had nothing but a great experience from Shake A Paw! Michael was very helpful in narrowing down my choices and walking me through the whole process and yes while my little girl may have been a bit expensive for some people she is registered with the AKC and I was able to get her pedigree through them. I'm so happy with my decision and that I finally have a new best friend, at a time when I needed her most❤
