Employee I talked to on the phone was super rude. I called to give my updated insurance and the lady wouldn’t take my information and hung up on me, every time I go there it’s an issue and technicians give you a different answer on things like no one is on the same page. Recently before this I went there and asked for the smallest/shortest insulin needles they had and they gave me probably the longest syringes I’ve ever seen for insulin in my life. I can only assume the tech had no clue what the sizes were and would be too inconvenienced to ask. You guys are really terrible to your customers/patients and if people didn’t literally NEED their medicine they wouldn’t use y’all at all.

I am utterly shocked that this pharmacy can still have long lines for service. Everything you're reading in other reviews is true - the service is rude when you can get it at all. I thought the Walgreens on Hoosick in Troy was bad - somehow they manage to be worse.Last time I managed to get anyone to answer the phone here it was because someone in the convenience store answered it by accident, and they promptly placed the call back on the forever hold.If you're reading this you've probably seen reviews for other locations too and they're not much better. Doesn't seem like it will be long before Dollar Tree or something else like it moves in.

Please believe the reviews about the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is rude and unhelpful. If you have an opportunity to go to a different Walgreens Pharmacy, I would definitely try that.

My prescription is not covered by Medicare but my secondary insurance pays for it. My doctor sent the prescription to the pharmacy. I called in the morning and the lady who answered the phone said to come in the afternoon. When I came she said she couldn’t give to me because it was denied by Medicare. I told her in the morning that this would happen and after the denial to charge to my insurance. She said the insurance denied. I called the insurance and the they assured me that they didn’t get anything from the pharmacy and that they would cover the cost in its entirety. DO NOT fill your prescriptions at this pharmacy if you have Medicare and secondary insurance.

🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩too many complaints and issues to describe and not willing to go into them here again 🚨Don't Use This Store!!!🚨#NegativeStars🚩🚩🚩1/9/22 No Pharmacist on duty... can't get my Rx's🤯🤬🤬🤬#ZeroStars🚩🚩down to 1* after doing business here for only a few months🚩🚩so disgusted with cvs i transferred rx's here...#CVSSUCKSUPDATE: took another star away! drive-thru protocols have to change. way too slow, multiple unnecessary id challenge questions, new Rx wasn't billed to insurance despite having an account with that info (more than willing to use charge card on file). 4 staff and 15 minutes (+15 in line) had to help fill a new Rx... no wonder there are always at least 3 cars in line*** Hoping #TheOwnerReadsAndResponds ***UPDATE: doesn't open until 9am! drive-thru closed yesterday! and seems to be permantly closed... took another star away.UPDATE: can't get a vaccine here at this location!!! took another star away

(This review is for the pharmacy, as a convenience store I've never had any issue)THE WORST! My elderly mother fills her prescriptions here, and because she can't drive at night, sometimes she asks me to pick them up for her. Any time I do it is an absolute struggle and way more stress than it needs to be! Today I waited in the drive through line 30 minutes only to be told once I got to the window that she didn't have anything ready for pickup...except I knew that she actually did, and then had to convince the pharmacist that, yes, my mother did in fact text me asking me to pick up her medication and that it was ready, and what the co-pay was. They were the ones who called my mother to tell her it was ready, so of course it was! Eventually the pharmacist found it, and I was able to leave with it after answering several questions more than I've ever had to at other pharmacies, but this never felt like she was actually looking for it in the first place as much as it was an initial test to see if I was actually who I said I was. This is NOT the only time this has happened, some times have been easier than others but it's always unnecessarily stressful and complicated. I thought they were just treating me like a criminal because I was picking up meds for someone other than myself, but apparently, they treat my mother like this as well when she picks up her own prescriptions during the day. I told her to find a new pharmacy because I am DONE picking anything up at this location. Happy to add to the many one-star reviews of this place.

23 minutes on hold, just transferred to this pharmacy bc my insurance doesn't cover cvs. My scripts were filled and canceled because they somehow didn't have a phone number on file. Woman was at least nice enough for more than one star. Hope drive thru is better.

When this was a Rite aid this was a great pharmacy. Now it's terrible, all the old staff I had for years has disappeared. They have the drive thru boarded up. Constantly leave messages in Spanish on my phone. They regularly say a prescription is filled and when I arrive it's not. My wife waited on hold for an hour once and instead of fielding her call they went on lunch and then disconnected her. The only reason I haven't switched yet is that there isn't another one that's more convenient.Man I miss when it was Rite Aid. Walgreens is a terrible company and this store is the bottom of their barrel.

This is without a doubt the worst Pharmacy EVER! I called to check to see why my prescription has not been filled I was on hold for over 2 hours. In that time they went to lunch I waited through that. I then got cut off. I called back and asked for the store manager which was like pulling teeth. When he got on and I asked what is going on as to why the pharmacist was not answering the phone. He told me they just went on a lunch break. Funny seeing I just waited through there lunch break. When I explained this he said they were at lunch so there must have been a problem with the phone. I have worked at Pharmacy's for over 20 years before retiring and we would never be able to treat customers this way. When I asked for the District Managers phone number I was told I could not have it. I will move my prescriptions to another Pharmacy tomorrow morning. Do not use this pharmacy if you want good customer service.

Never experienced such incompetence and disregard for patients/patrons. Certain some people are working very "hard" at this establishment -- but you are still going to have a bad experience.In one instance they didn't give the correct count of meds, and this wasn't realized for weeks. The store is told there was a mistake: associate walks back, grabs a container of medication and just hands it to over. It doesn't have a label on it nor a name. They knew they screwed it up, had the meds waiting, never contacted anyone, and literally just handed over the exact amount of missing meds. (no ID check, no explanation).Now they have a sign that says "count your meds before paying, NYS law" or words like that. But of course they won't hand over meds to count before they are paid for. So one must go into the store every time, pay for my meds, then rip the bag open and stand there and count them in front of everyone in line. HIPPA nothing.Don't bother trying to call. There will be more than 3 people ahead in queue, then 3, then 2, 1 -- and then 20 more minutes of music and "thanks for waitings," but apparently you've at the front of the queue ... right? It won't matter: it's been over an hour. Missed time/$ at work, surgeon will cancel your surgery if X medication isn't taken for Y days before surgery. It's absolutely critical, so take off more time from work to try and track down a human.Wait in line the next AM. Speak to others who have also had very bad experiences at this Walgreens location. One explained how, the day prior, he waited patiently in line for sometime, finally made it to the register, then the associate just walked away toward the exit. "Um, hi, what's going on, I need to..." the customer says. "I'm on break," the associate replies. "Ok, well is someone going to help me?" The answer is no: noone is going to help you, and your time does not matter. The man spent as much time there as he possibly could, made it to the register, and ultimately had to leave with no service renendered because he had to feed his family.One could go on and on. Every prescription is a stressful experience. Perhaps there is a better option -- please let me know if you find one.

Longest wait times I have ever experienced in forty years. No one ever answers the phone. I was on hold over two hours. This is a consistent problem. Clearly they have more customers than they can handle so I will be changing pharmacies.

I agree with the most recent reviews... since they switched over from Rite Aid there is no way you can actually talk to someone in the pharmacy without getting that ridiculous message telling you to hold on, which I agree, is always for at least 15-30 minutes. Unacceptable and unprofessional! I have already switched one of my prescriptions to another pharmacy since they are now switching manufacturers of my prescriptions without informing me.Soon all of my medicine(s) will be pulled out of there, which is sad, since I have been a loyal customer of their store since it was originally across the street where the dollar store now is....

This place is unbelievable. The drive thru is almost always closed and medication is never ready. I've given them 24hrs to prep a refill and it wasn't started when I go to pick it up. Doesn't mater if there's 3 people or 6 people the excuse is always understaffed which is the new universal excuse for incompetence.

Would give zero stars if I could. No one ever answers the phone or returns calls. Prescriptions are supposed to be ready but never are. Staff is rude and their system is completely not up to date and does not receive scripts as it should. You have to specifically ask them to ring you up correctly or you pay for charges that you shouldn’t. Expect to spend hours trying to get simple scripts filled.

I've been utilizing services from Walgreen's Pharmacy for well over fifteen years. Of course, it wasn't always Walgreen's - It was first Eckerds, then Rite-Aid, and now Walgreen's.All pharmacies are having staffing issues right now. The reason I choose Walgreen's is because of the pharmacists employed here, especially Manal who goes out of her way to see that the customers get their prescriptions when due. She is the reason I stay.

Customer service is awful in this store. Cashiers are rude. Loved Rite-Aid! My husband and I have switched pharmacy's.Scrips never ready in a timely manner even if you call ahead. Poorly runned!

Walgreen's is about to lose another customer. I waited for 25 minutes on the phone to talk to the pharmacy. This is unacceptable. Not good customer service at all. There are other drugstores in the area with drive throughs and much better customer service and less waiting time. I know 5 different families that have left Walgreen's in Loudonville.

Your not told by the associate at the register that if you don't have the stupid reward card you don't get the sale or buy one get one free. They ask for your phone number so the line of 15 people behind you can hear you give it (not cool) After looking at my receipt in the car, not seeing the sale/discount. I go back in to ask why and she says. I asked for your phone number how am I supposed to know what's on sale...Awesome customer service...NOTWill not return again!

Only 1 staff member has ever been decent to me and I used to go in there frequently as it’s close to my job, coupons are always a problem and I asked a question one day about a flyer? They looked at me like I had 2 heads and I was so angry! Not friendly at all!!

Haven’t visited the store yet but called to try & refill a prescription after taking over from Rite-Aid. Was on hold for 25 minutes before hanging up. Message first said there was 1 call before me, soon to be followed by a message saying they were busy answering other calls.

Pharmacy doesn't keep medications in stock; seems like there is never enough staff,long lines of waiting. Pharmacy hours are not always customer friendly. Also, pharmacy closed on New Years Day.....people don't need medications on New Years Day ??? Missing our Rite Aid !!

They never have my prescriptions ready. I literally told them I was going through withdrawal symptoms because they couldn’t refill my medication in time and an, “ASAP refill,” for them was two days. The staff is also so rude.

Unbelievably slow with much need prescriptions. Currently they are 700+ prescriptions behind, no joke this is a real number they told me. It shouldn't be legal for them to be this behind on much needed medicine. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Horrible pharmacy....waited 30. Minutes on hold then they said we don't have in stock..call back in a CPL days ...this is my breathing medication I've been on for 8 years
