Rochester Road Tops is a Terrible store! Never anyone around to ask for help. Or an employee will say it's not their department, or they simply don't have a clue, or care. NEVER enough lanes open. Many of their coolers often seem to be broken. Noticed mold in one! Poor Deli service. Simply a VERY VERY POORLY run and managed store!

The store was very clean and friendly. I have to say very honest. I was in the self cheak out line and left my wallet there. I didn't realize I did till I got home. 45 minutes away. I call the store and they had it. Thank God!. It's nice to know there are honest people out there.. Great staff.

Outdated, small tops with limited inventory, not very clean, expired food throughout the store. 2 years ago I had to point out to the manager that all of the prepared food in the display was visibly moldy, a case that's directly in front of the deli where they fry the chicken,walk past it to put the chicken on the warmer and no one bothered to throw out the food, guess because it wasn't their job. Dont buy prepared food here.Wont buy meat here, too many times I've brought chicken and opened it at home and it smells off, most of the beef has brown spots but sometimes I'll grab a pork loin they had nothing to do with but make sure you check the expiration date on everything you buy, meat,milk, cheese, yogurt because they don't do a good job with rotating their inventory.Lastly, a few weeks ago was there on a Sunday morning, the manager stood there telling a story to 3 employees with a line of 11 people being cashed out by an older cashier, self check out lanes weren't open yet and several people in line were complaining and he did absolutely nothing, excellent leadership. When I say this was the worst grocery store experience I’ve ever had, it is not conjecture. I am writing this review several days after visiting this store, and my rage has yet to abate. The posted prices for fruit and vegetables were WELL above anything resembling a fair price, and the prices we were rung up for were 1 to 2 dollars above even the high prices that things were listed for. $5 for pomegranate seeds that tasted like they were set in the sun to ferment for a couple days before being set on a shelf to be sold. $8 for a pint of moldy blueberries. If you want to experience a corporation trying to suck every dollar they can from the general public like a morally bankrupt leech, come to Tops. Nothing against the employees doing their best, the two we saw in the store at 5 PM during the rush seemed like they were doing the best they could.

I went to this location for a quick snack on 9/9/21. While looking at the trail mix section, I found a bunch of bags that were outdated. Stuff like this is going to happen. I was able to find a bag that wasn't expired and went to the self checkout area. After checking out, I mentioned to the employee supervising the area that there were some bags that were expired on the shelf. She seemed like she didn't care which is unfortunate. If shopping at this location, make sure you're checking your dates before purchasing!

Very nice tops. I needed banana boxes to pack up my cousins things, that past away 2 weeks ago. The young man I talked to was very very and helpful. Got some for me. Thank you so much, I really appreciated it.

I've been coming here ever since it was Quality Markets, and I'll probably come to this Tops for a long time to come. I have so many memories about this place as a child and an adult. It was always a treat to come here and still is. The staff is always kind and the store is well-stocked and always clean. I also really like the Pharmacy here!

I've been going to this tops my whole life when it wasn't tops before when HSBC bank was there. Even when Pete's collectibles and pharmacy was there. I think it used to be bells then quality market. I'm 41 and I remember getting candy and movie rentals. Still my favorite tops. The cleanest and nicest people.

It's a smaller tops so you don't have to walk for miles to find things. Great breakfast pizza!!!

I only come here in a pinch otherwise I shop elsewhere. I guess we can keep the star because the people working here are nice and polite otherwise price gouging cancels the other stars out. They have customers, including family friends who do not shop around paying double and triple or more of what something is worth then they put it on sale for a rate comparable to other stores regular prices and calculate the "savings" and many people are fooled into thinking they are getting the best deal. Literally if if I need 1 thing I get the 1 thing and leave feeling dirty.

Staff is always super friendly. Sometimes they are out of certain things but that's expected these days. Everyone takes proper precautions with covid. They are actually the first store to ask of I needed help carrying out my groceries.. as I usually have a minimum of 3 children with me!I thought that was really kind and speaks to how friendly and helpful the staff is there!They have a Redbox outside which is super convenient too! We love the rotisserie chickens! Such a great dinner fast and easy! And delicious!

Store isn't all that clean and there's things around the store often broken. Selection isn't all that great. Can typically find bad produce on the shelf. Have been short staffing cashiers for as long as I can remember. If it wasn't convenient I wouldn't shop here at all. I'm thinking management/ownership is weak to run a store like this with so many issues.

Older smaller tops. Less crowded so that is a plus. Plenty of parking out front. New self checkouts are nice. I just dont like the way the store is laid out. But that is probably because I usually shop at a different Tops in the area. Overall it is a good Tops to run into for a quick shopping trip.

We stopped at tops to pick up a few groceries and flowers, they had table umbrellas on sale if you had a bonus card. We didn't have one but they let us use the customer service card. All the staff were very friendly and helpful

Stopped in to get some flowers for my wonderful wife to show my love for her. I went to a flower shop but sadly the flowers there were for people with a wallet full of money. Tops had some beautiful arrangements at a price I can afford. It brought a beautiful smile to her face and that is gold to me.

Great small town Tops. Staff is always very friendly to me and my wife when we go in. Only additional thing I have to add is they need to increase their gluten-free selection at this location we love going to this one over the one on transit because it's usually not as busy but we would love to follow the gluten free options were available there as well.

Very patient woman at the register! Loading a $220.00 order on your own is tedious. I understand why we pack our own bags.But as a slim person with a bum shoulder this process takes a bit longer. Thanks again

Way too overpriced. Several of the things that were marked down were expired by over a month and I'm not even sure how they're legally allowed to sell that. Expect to pay double what you pay at Walmart.

Going here is always a chore. Very old building and almost nothing is clean or updated. One maybe two checkout lines open at any one time and to add insult to injury they have now added a self checkout. The staff is very short and unwelcoming. At least two different occasions I've witnessed associates fighting in the aisles with each other. If it wasn't for being the only shopping center close by to home I would never shop here!
