Love everything here.So far, parking has been easy. The space is awesome inside and out. Everything we've ordered here has been delicious. The restroom is clean. The people who work here seem very nice and helpful. We will be back. Oh, our beer drinking individual enjoyed all the beer he got.

Location, location, location! This is a really beautiful property set back off the road in an idyllic setting with a pond, a large patio, plenty of outdoor seating, a spot for live music, a couple of fire pits and even some hiking. Its pretty awesome. They have a small but good menu and foid was delicious. I recommend the fish tacos and definitely the french fries!!! Friends ordered the grilled cheese and also loved it. Im a loser and forgot to take my photos to post! I did get my upward cider mimosa and vodka lemonade but less exciting to look at. Anyway...price point is good and its a great place to relax after a day od adventuring...be it hiking, fishing, or whatever else brings you to Livingston Manor.

Didn't get the chance to visit the brewery, but I definitely enjoyed their NZ Pale Ale that I purchased from the Forestburgh General Store. Outstanding beer. My wife, dogs, and I were in the region doing our monthly AirB&B vacation. We are a retired military family, so we have earned our time together and leisure. I enjoyed cooking breakfasts and dinners for my wife and babies before and after our daily travels through the gorgeous Delaware and Hudson River valleys, and Upwards NZ Pale Ale was my joy while cooking those dinners and relaxing by the wood stove. Excellent beer. Well balanced, light but complex. Pairs well with butter-sauteed steak and vegetables.. Well done, Upward Team. Well done. Regards.

Feel the vibe seating indoors or enjoy nature around you (including a little pond) with Upward's outdoor seating. What a great place to enjoy a selection of locally crafted beers. Food was good and the prices are on the high end as one would expect in places where the most important nutrient is beer. For the full experience, you can park your car in the free lot, hike beer mountain and return to the brewery to fill up your tanks.

What a cool spot for a local beer. We purchased five beers to split between four adults. We had three kids with us that enjoyed the lawn and throwing rocks into the pond while looking for frogs.The beer was delicious. The food was also very good, but not my favorite. The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions.I will be back.

Such a visually stunning space. The architecture and design of the interior is gorgeous. The guy pouring the beer is super friendly. They allowed me to order with my dog on a leash because I was alone. I sat outside on their patio and enjoyed a bratwurst and a beer. The place is gorgeous the views are stunning there’s plenty of places to sit right up close to the building as well as pavilions out in the grounds. There’s also some sort of hike that you can do that leaves from the brewery but I was more interested in the beer than the hiking.

We decided to drive through Livingston Manor just to have a look round. This spot was in my save places as it looked like a Swiss chalet, and what’s not to like about that.Set in a pretty valley in an open field with a small pond, it could be more scenic.The interior has high vaulted ceilings with a mid-century vibe. There are both lounge style seating areas and more traditional tables with a few high boys if I remember correctly. There is also a patio and picnic tables in the grass closer to the pond.The food is very good. Burgers etc. I had an Impossible Burger as I assumed it would be my last chance in the Catskills to have one. Yes I was wrong. Everything was tasty and done well.I was the only to have a beer but the one I had was awesome. It had yuzu in it which I liked. It seems there is a subtle Japanese influence that I never really understood how or why but again…I liked it.All in, a great spot, with a great room, view, staff, food and beer. What else could you want?

Great outdoor seating with picturesque views. There was plenty of picnic tables on a Friday evening. A lot of space for the kids to run around. Saw a few kids exploring the pond. There were about 6 beers on tap, we enjoyed two varieties. The food was good. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable evening out with friends and family.

Lovely place! You get to do a lot of activities. You can hike, sit by the lake, take your dog sit outside, inside the environment nice and chill. Beer menu nice and short. If you like coffee and beet OM OATMEAL STOUT is the one for you. The food was delicious. Super friendly staffs! Super welcoming! 10 out of 10.

Where's the beef? Literally. This $15 burger was no bigger than a silver dollar, maybe 2oz of meat. The fish sandwich was equally dinky and looked like it came from my high school cafeteria. Nice location; embarrassing food.

Great beer, handcrafted on-site. Beautiful location. You are right off the main road yet it feels secluded. Incredible views from the top of "beer mountain" with two nice hiking trails to work up your thirst. Relax by the pond or by the fire pit. Dog and kid friendly.

This is how a local upstate brewery should be.While being initially a little disappointed in the town nearby we came upon UBC and we’re very happily surprised. I’m not much of a beer drinker but I really enjoyed their selection, even took a few packs to-go as the prices are very reasonable. The interiors are very well pointed and comfortable and spending a perfect summer day in an Adirondack chair overlooking a picturesque valley was exactly what I needed. As far as food, we only had the pretzel but it did have the best horseradish-beer-cheese I’ve ever had.

This brewery is a sheer do NOT miss! They have flavorful wines and beer. They have a fab farm to table kitchen with food that will melt in your mouth. Perfect for vegans and non vegans! Their open space indoors includes a fireplace and outdoor seating with fire pits. The staff and other folks are super friendly. Thank you!

Gorgeous new brewery with beautiful views. The tap room is airy and bright with a comfortable lounging area around the fireplace. We had the Golden Ratio & Ascension Pils, both were delicious. Definitely must visit if in the area.

I have read other people complaining of the uneasy atmospher for people that do not "look" like they're from the area. I totally agree with this as this was the same experience I had. The grounds and building are gorgeous, but upon parking there were several Trucks parked out front, and boy did the patrons driving those fit the bill. Loud, staring at us constantly, and making loud remarks with innuendos that seemed to be rooted in hate. Not sure they realize they live in 2023 and in NY, not the deep south. Not that it would be okay anywhere, but I found that hilarious. Overall, if you look like you are from here you should be fine, if you dont, expect long dirty looks, and weird vibes the whole time. Thats just my personal experience but it seems others have experienced this as well. Food was okay, but this is a brewery so I was not expecting much. Bartender was very friendly. I know the staff is not 100% at fault for their patrons and customers but just so you know atmosphere is 90% of what makes a person decide if they come back and spend their hard earned money. Having locals come and frequent is good for business, but tourists pay the bills. There is no right answer on how to fix this, but if the Atmosphere was better I would have left a higher review. Sorry, but I had to be honest about my experience. Take care.

First visit and want to go back. Winter day so couldn't really take advantage of the outdoor seating. Great staff and enjoyed our visit. Looking forward to next time. Highly recommend.

What an amazing surprise! I'm not a beer drinker but hubby and I wanted to check out the newest local brewery and we were not disappointed! We both had the Breadwinner IPA. I just might end up becoming a beer drinker! It was light sweetish and not at all bitter. No icky aftertaste. The orange ginger chicken skewer did not disappoint either! This is DEFINITELY a place we will return to AND bring visitors to. Even during this cold gray time of year, the view is amazingCan't wait to see it when the trees are leafed out and again in the fall when they turn color.

Great beer and food - paired with almost unreal national park-like scenery. Super friendly staff. Bring your own camp chairs on the weekend to make sure you get a seat. There is no other brewery like Upward.
