Hidden gem!! Local adorable family run market that really cares about community and health. Not only do they have local organic produce sold at wholesale cost, they also make delicious plant based grab n go wraps, sandwiches, and desserts. I love that I can walk in and buy anything there knowing that they did the research on all their products and only sell items that fit a certain health profile. Almost didn't want to write a review to keep this pace a secret but I want to support them so I did it anyway. Enjoy!

Far Haven Farmacy couldn't be more true to their name. They provide an incredible service to the community offering a huge variety of locally grown or sourced produce. They also have a section of prepared foods like soups, sandwiches etc, as well as snacks. Living upstate it is very tough to find organic, clean foods (never mind vegan), they hit all the marks and even have coconut yogurt, cashew cheeses etc... On top of all of this they are the sweetest, knowledgable, and passionate folks we could ask for. And lastly, they offer everything at wholesale prices with just a sliding scale donation (they are a non-profit) with the order. I am happy and proud to support this great business.

My go to shop for my fruits/veggies!!! As a Vegetarian fresh fruits and vegetables are essential to my diet. There's slim pickings at the grocery store but here at Fare Haven they get fresh produce in every week and are ensuring their produce is fresh and stocked. Also, they carry things that can not be grown locally so in Winter months/early Spring I especially I depend on Fare Haven for my food. They also carry some dried goods and bathroom essentials that are sustainable. They work hard to get the lowest prices to their costumers and get in quality/organic products/produce. You may also find the tastiest produce here when it's in season because they actually eat this stuff too so they are selective in what they are buying! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! <3 Thank you Sam, Fred, Maya, Alex, and Noelle for bringing our community fresh produce and I cannot wait to try all the tasty food you'll make in the cafe!!

I love this place! Fresh organic produce and such great people! They continue to expand their grocery line to include cheeses, yogurt, chips, supplements and more. Love their new kitchen! Vegetarian items are really tasty, and wheat free! During these hard times, you can preorder and they will package your items and bring them to your car. It's #1 on my favorite places to shop!

Sam, Fred and the Haven Fare team work so hard to provide their customers with the utmost quality produce and health food products at fair prices.Their hard work and dedication doesn’t go unnoticed in the community. We are so lucky to have them. If you get a chance, definitely check out their market. They carry Cocojune yogurt, the BEST plant based yogurt, vegan cheeses and home made soups and snacks. It’s like having a sustainable Whole Foods market in our backyard.

Love their mission, the staff, the fresh organic produce, the amazing product selection (add Bombay B*tchin’ Sauce and more vegan cheese options, please!!). Prices end up being very reasonable for high-quality produce and products, even with the added 20% donation. Great vibes in a charming yellow house.

Love this place. I've been shopping here weekly since they opened. I disagree with the negative, anonymous (no real name) review. I watch the prices for organic produce at Shoprite and Aldi and if Shoprite has strawberries on sale, then there is a huge mark-up on peppers or avocados. It is hard to compete with chain stores buying in large quantities, and the bad review was written in winter - not our growing season in the North East. If you eat mainly organic - it is more expensive than conventional, even if you shop at a large chain store. Fare Haven's produce is very good looking and it's easy to fill a basket with wholesome food and it will be pricey. This store is clean, reliable, always fresh, they research the brands they carry and now have delicious sandwiches and soups. I love to support small local businesses who are happy to accommodate their customers.

When my husband and I heard about Fare Haven through a friend, we were thrilled, it's an incredible addition to our community. The produce and other products, and now offerings from their kitchen are high quality. We also appreciate that they are committed to educating about sustainability and alternative lifestyles, so essential to our planet today. Great atmosphere and an amazing way to become introduced to holistic health and well-being. The people working there were more than happy to answer questions, so come with ideas to be clarified. Great prices on wholesale produce and fresher than what you would find in the local grocery stores. Also there ready to eat items are nutritious and delicious 😄

Greeted by the sweetest soul when we arrived on our random weekend trip up fromNYC, we were given a tour and explanation of the amazing ways they operate and serve their local community. I’ve been vegan and gluten free for over three years, and the panini and quesadilla we had here by far surpassed high end vegan eats in NYC. The flavor was impeccable. I will be dreaming about the pulled mushroom panini until I return 🤤. HIGHLY recommend!!

We visited their location to buy our fruits and vegetables as they advertised wholesale prices on their website. We were very disappointed, this is same item/brand/weight/etc. you can buy at local stop and shop just marked up by 30-100% depending on the product. On top of that since they are "Non-profitable" organization, they put a 20% "donation" automatically on your bill, which they were very intimidating about. I will never go there again nor recommend it to anyone. This is not a non-profit that sells wholesale, this is a scam trying to make money by reselling a product and not paying taxes to feds.

Delicious, fresh all organic veggies, fruits, prepared foods, vegan cheeses, juices, soups, sandwiches, cleaning supplies, etc. Everyone that works there is simply amazing and dedicated to health and supporting the community. Sam is also an excellent nutritionist - I hight recommend a session with him. I buy everything I can there.

Total ripoff - expensive, unappetizing food, plus they strongarm you into making an additional 20% donation to their mysterious non-profit. The workers wore face shields, which do not protect anyone, rather than actual masks. Totally ripped off and never going back.
