DO NOT USE The Home Depot TO DELIVER YOUR APPLIANCES. Absolutely horrible experience with them. THEY stepped on my cat (no big deal not their fault) but then they KICKED MY CAT AND LAUGHED about it! That’s a problem, big time! On video! Not only did they forget 3 of my 4 appliances the first time (the guys were stoned out of their mind) but they forgot one of my appliances again on the second delivery! They damaged my door frame, they banged the appliances around, they didn’t hookup the appliances like I paid them to do, and they didn’t take the previous appliances like they said they would, didn’t install the handles to the fridge. Stepped on my outlet to my refrigerator and bent it. Absolutely horrible service.

I went to the store to replace the stripped screws/nuts for my walker because I'm partially disabled. I met Mary at the Customer Service Dept. She was so helpful & told me to go to the Pros Desk & if they can't help me she recommended a store called Mother Goose in Cicero/N. Syracuse. I told her that she was so helpful & an angel. The man behind me said, "she's not an angel"! I asked if he was her husband? Of course he was! 😃 I went to the Pros Desk but was told there wasn't anyone working there today but was pointed in the direction of the fasteners aisle & told that they would send someone to assist me. That's where I met Roy! He helped me so much, especially when we went outside to get my walker from my car. He had suggestions & one was to drill to put some clips in where the screws were stripped. I told him I didn't have anyone to do that. We went to the rental dept. Where Jeff & Greg assisted us & Roy drilled the holes & put in the clips!!! HURRAY!!! I bought the necessary drill bit & donated it to the store. Please store manager, Chris Boscoe, reward & honor these beyond the regular customer service amazing employees!!!! Thank you ALL!!!!

I really like this place. I have a lot of home projects done from them. I also have Pro account with them and save every time I buy paint.It doesn’t matter what department you check in for quote. They are always there to help us. We have bought mulch, best paint quality, bathroom sets, appliances, doors, fence, electrical equipment etc.This place always neat and clean. Fast self checkout is available, early order can be picked up. Never had bad experience with so they are doing amazing job.Highly recommend paint.

Fling horrible! Bought a 4 gallon pump sprayer last year. Needed a new sprayer handle. Went to this location and they sell 20 new pump sprayers, but NO REPLACEMENT HANDLES/SPRAYERS. Oh, you can get it on line. Hmmm. Have 3 decks to clean today! I thought Lowes sucked. This place is the worst stocked in CNY. May as well just drive straight to Cicero oe DeWitt. Fling done with this place.

Good prices for the most part. Staff is helpful most of the time but has a great selection of in stock items. It is always difficult to find the right isle though unless you are there often. The customer service/online pick-up area could work on being nicer and more helpful. Seem to always be in a bad mood every time I need to get something for pick-up or have a return. Pick-up is the worst. You say you are on the way using the app and then let them know you are there and nobody comes out. So you go in and get this attitude from the people at the desk. So, I have stopped using that service unless i really dont want to go in. Maybe someone else will have better luck with it.

We decided to order a swing set for our toddler and found one online at Home Depot. We scheduled our delivery through the company that Home Depot uses, Central Transport, for a week ago Tuesday between 11-4. After taking a half day of work and waiting until after 4, I called Central Transport. I was advised that they didn’t have the right truck to deliver the item and that they had delivered it to the store location on RT 31 the DAY PRIOR at the bequest of Home Depot. Perturbed that no one communicated this to me, I called 31 and spoke to Kathy who advised that she didn’t see any notes that I was scheduled for delivery. She apologized and said she would work with her delivery team and call me asap to schedule. After waiting a few days and not hearing anything, I visited the showroom. The first associate I spoke to said that the item showed as already delivered to my home in their system. I then asked to speak to a manager, Chris, who was able to locate my order and identified the issue. He said he would coordinate with Kathy (who was off during the weekend) and I would receive a call first thing Monday morning. Chris assured me he would leave notes on my account. Monday came and went with no call, I called and spoke with Kathy on Tuesday. Kathy said I was “on her list of people to call” and got me scheduled for today. She advised I could call the night prior for a time frame. Fast forward to last night when I called and asked for that time window, only to be told “we don’t do that”. I asked to speak to a manager, who again, apologized and said the tracking information was not loaded yet and to call in the morning. He assured me notes would be added to my account. As instructed, I called this morning, only to be told “we don’t do that unless you pay for the 4 hour window”. As I felt my my blood pressure skyrocket and the possibility of a stroke increasing, I thanked the associate and hung up. Luckily, we were one of the first deliveries today. The boxes containing the swing set are completely soaked, and I pray the instructions are in tact. This was BY FAR the worst customer experience of my life. I’ve used Home Depot and Lowes equally over the years, but I’ll never step foot in HD ever again. The lack of customer service and communication is appalling. Home Depot needs to overhaul how they deliver items for online customers.

Always measure your wood here......evidently the sizes of lumber are a 'guestimation' and 'they cut it a few inches larger' and your 'having bad luck' if. Any of your bords are exactly the size your buying😂😂😂😂...

Customer service here is not up to par. If you seek out an associate, they usually are not assigned to that department. This means they normally don't know how to help you.At Lowes, if one associate can not help you, they will get you to the person who can. Then, that person is not only knowledgeable but cares enough to provide quality customer service.I've also had problems returning items with a receipt!

This review is for customer service associate Abby. My dishwasher was delivered with the wrong installation kit and the 1-800 number number people were idiots and had no clue what was going on. I went into the store and Abby gave me the correct dishwasher installation kit without any hassle and knew exactly what I was talking about. I have never before dealt with a customer service associate that was so easy to work with. I expected to go into the store and have to fight with the store manager. I hope they give this lady a raise.

I'm not about to sit here and say I'm the Bob Vila/Martha Stewart of DIY home repair, but I'm not too shabby- thanks to Home Depo and thier AMAZING employees!Being a homeowner means the work never ends. I like to feel accomplished (and save a few bucks) by getting the work done myself. I always go to Home Depo for my supplies. They have everything you can imagine. The usual wood, nails, paint and electric. The necessary like fixtures, appliances, flooring (installed). The clean like detergent, sprays, wipes- all by the way at comparable or lower prices than many other stores, and a great selection of quality pool/spa needs. And they have the fun, thier seasonal holiday decor section is insane!I have learned how to install ceiling fans, kitchen and bathroom sinks (with plumbing), build cabinets, and so much more from FREE classes that are offered at HD. I register online and show up to learn in a master class taught by extremely knowledgeable, patient and friendly instructors. I can't even begin to count how much $ I have saved myself because of these classes!Kids classes are back! The first Saturday of the month HD offers a Kid Workshop. Kids use the hammer, nails, screws and paint to create amazing, and useable items. It's a great way to teach them to follow directions and make them amazing little helpers! They collect accomplishment pins on a HD apron. It gives them confidence and knowledge.I think what I appreciate the most is the super kind, patient, knowledge, and fun employees. I have never encountered anyone having a "bad day" at work. They are always able and willing to answer all my questions, no matter how silly they may be.I literally ❤LOVE❤ Home Depo. I have no problem saying that it is my all time favorate store. Employees, prices, education, products, selection- All fantastic. 👷🏼♀️👍🏻👍🏻*They also offer a 10% military discount with valid ID.

Purchased multiple products for a decking project at the Pro Desk in Clay. I paid for delivery because of the quantity of things needed. When the order was dropped off it was short some deck boards. The delivery driver could have cared less and told us to call the store. Well we called the store and they had the nerve to ask if we had a way to come pick them up. Fairly certain that’s why we paid for delivery. The Pro Desk associate checked with the manager and we were then told the delivery was staged out of the Camillus store and we would need to call them. So apparently they really didn’t want to help us. I would have expected the Clay store to take ownership of the problem….silly me! The Camillus store did take care of the error but I shouldn’t need to make multiple calls to have an issue resolved. The management in Clay could use some lessons in customer service.

Great place to buy home improvement supplies. Staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. Their order online and pick up in store option is the best I have seen. I can place an order early in the morning and I usually get notified that it is ready before the store even opens. For smaller items the pick up lockers are awesome. I can be in and out in a couple minutes. Time is valuable and this place definitely goes above and beyond to make sure it's not wasted.

Amy the customer experience manager and her closing shift are amazing. A couple of us firefighters wanted to have a bonfire and we called up and asked permission to take pallets for the bonfire after hours Amy took a huge step she didn’t have to but she did to make sure we legally had permission she sent me a text explaining we have permission just in case police do get called by someone. She was nothing but friendly and helpful and even took another step to make sure we were not bothered by anyone she told her other management team and there closing shift team aware of us being able to take pallets. Home Depot Amy and her closing shift deserve recognition for there efforts in kindness and making us firefighters feel valued as they made our night to de stress from calls we answer. I will always go to this Home Depot now if I ever need tools or anything, you’ve gained another Satisfied customer.

Good store. Prices usually a little better than Lowes..but not always. It's smart to take a look first. Not fancy and designed more for a working man's convenience. But the staff is very helpful and the layout easy to navigate.
