I visited the Clay Target on Good Friday to purchase some last minute Easter supplies. The store was busy, and I was expecting messy displays and a long wait, but had a great shopping experience. I found all the items I needed, and had a negligible wait for a cashier. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice cashier and a few friendly associates throughout the store who were smiling and just plain nice.With that said, the experience was much more bad than good. Extremely long and slow checkout lanes, clothes were everywhere and all over the floor, nothing is ever priced and so many things aren't where they should be, so you have to price check anything you're interested in which I just gave up on, so target lost some business there. Also, none of the funko pops were where they should be and were a mess and prices are just nuts. Why am I going to pay more for something at target than I would pretty much anyplace else, including ebay even with shipping? Just because you're demographic is mostly pretentious rich people who like to throw money away, doesn't mean everyone has a silver spoon up their butts and wants to spend extra just because. I mean, I make 6 figures, so I'm not poor, but I'm still not throwing money out just because you're target.

Did a curbside order and was given an expired item from last month. The shelves are suppose to be checked when being stocked so that this does not happen. DisappointedTWO MONTHS LATER: Still have expired food items on their shelf. Not discarding them like they should.

The Target on RT 31 is filthy with clothes all over the floor and the shoe department had shoes everywhere. I won’t shop here again absolutely ridiculous. Looks like KMart before they closed disgusting

Has everything. The prices on some stuff are incredibly low. The clothing is worth the price. The towels are so fluffy and durable. Nice sheet sets and blankets. There is even grocery department.

I had the worst experience at Target today. So I used self checkout. The manager and another employee stood and watched everything that was rung up. After I left and stood in between the doors where he couldn’t see me. He hope right in before another customer can use it and reprints the receipt from the self checkout that I used. Clearly in the picture you can see where I returned everything that I purchased. I brought the Tabbitha Brown items and The BHM brand clothing to support my culture. I spent over $260 dollars. Now I cashed out at 11:20 on my receipt and I made the return at 11:37. So in the meantime I asked for a manager and they said the guy Ray who discriminated against me was. I said there’s someone over him, Everyone (Cheryl, Barb, and Lisa) act as if they didn’t know what was going on. Especially when Barb was the employee on the other side watching as we were checking out and seen that we scanned everything. I said everyone has a boss unless you own the place. They said they’re not in. Ray stands up front off in another part talking to a guy and laughing about what happened and saying o well return it then. I’m appalled by this behavior. I’m praying no one else has to go through this and you’re treated with respect regardless of color, creed, or race. So as I’m returning it I tell the other employees like you guys think it’s ok to treat people this way. You all seen that everything was scanned and y’all know he’s wrong. In those 17 minutes I didn’t see him pull anyone else’s receipt. So you make it make sense. The one who did my return I believe Cheryl said o sometimes we pull randomly. I’m like I haven’t seen him standing and watching nor pull a receipt print out since I’ve been in here. Target has definitely lost my business and I’m reaching out to the brands that I was purchasing and let them know the discrimination you have to endure to purchase their products. I have a mas in my abdomen and walked all around the store for my items and I’m doing Chemotherapy. That was such a waste of my time and energy. That’s never something I want to deal with ever again. Target has Lost a customer for life.

In my most humble opinion, based on the multiple jobs I've had involving retail in several different settings and levels of position:Target is the worst place to work as an employee. I have never been so mistreated and misguided before until I have worked there. Despite my many attempts through my time with Target, I was refused many opportunities to grow with the company.Any effort I made to apply myself in other departments were dismissed. Opportunities that were open to me were denied or outright ignored, despite my qualifications.My supervisors are either too comfortable in their positions or absolutely incompetent that they shouldn't have been promoted in the first place. Most of my direct supervisors had no experience in the department that I have worked in for a long period of time and I had to train them to uphold their position as my supervisor.During 2020 and the beginning of 2021, I have had pushed myself to maintain the enormous backlog of orders involving our heaviest merchandise by myself and received no recognition for it. Despite losing two coworkers getting injuries from fulfilling the same type of orders. I had made a system that streamlined the prepping process of our packing stations, again, received no recognition for it.One of the things that made me want to quit immediately was how my supervisors handled my last work performance review. I was told that I am a great, hard worker, that gets straight to the task without any complaint. Yet, however, I have allegedly a "bad attitude" and I'm "negative". Which these qualities are contradictory. When I pointed out that these are contradicting statements, I was told that was the "negativity" talking and I needed to be more "positive". This interaction led me to believe that my supervisors have no clear goal and lack the critical thinking skills to what they look for in an employee, let alone be able to evaluate anyone.Enduring all of that, the main reason why I chose to quit Target and go into a different field, is because of my most recent supervisor. In short summery, I am very dissatisfied in how they ran the department that I have been in for years. They have a tendency to practice favoritism and are malicious in their selection of who does what kind of task. Before their arrival, I was able to stretch out and fulfill all the duties of my role. When they arrived, they restricted me and the rest of my team to specific duties. As far as their leadership skills go, they are greatly lacking and their ability to operate as a leader is nil. They spoke to me and my coworkers in a consistently condescending tone and even make personal remarks that are borderline insulting. Unlike supervisors I had in the past in the same department, they didn't make me feel welcome when I came in for my shift.In summary, do not work at Target.At least, do not work at this location.

I love target i spend so much money here and always find things i didn’t know i needed . only put 3 stars since when i come here in the morning around 8:30 the womens bathroom is always close for a hour+ . i normally have no complaints when i come here later at night besides there not a lot of registers and they most only use self checkout and which honestly i prefer anyways but the machine only accept card besides one of them towards the were the food court area use to be (now the storage for pickups) also target app is amazing i have never had a problem receiving my order .i noticed when i come inside tho they don’t ask for my order number so it’s definitely possible someone could steal you item . curbside is definitely better.

It is so easy to shop online at Target. You buy what you want and then drive up and they bring it to your car in bags. You can mix pick up and ship to home items in one order and buy refrigerated and non refrigerated items as well. Its very easy and they bags are great

This targets curbside pickup is fantastic! They are so fast. Front end customer service is so helpful too, any time I have had a small mistake they are so kind and helpful. Can't recommend this store enough!

Store is clean, well stocked AND most importantly - they have cashiers!!!! The personal experience when checking out is greatly appreciated. I visited Walmart the other day for one thing and they are fully self check out. I waited in line for 20 minutes. I may get annoyed but I am more willing to return to a store and wait 20 minutes to check out if it is a pleasant experience.

The Clay Target is the nicest Target store I have shopped. I chose the CVS there as my pharmacy when we moved to the area. I was impressed the first time I walked in with the layout and cleanliness. Staff is helpful and friendly.

We had Ann at the self checkout help us out on a register and she called us down to be helped and then got mad when we didn’t have a return. she was very yucky. she was snarky towards us and was mad at us for coming to her when she said to. she doesn’t like her job very much.

Did a pick up order at this location and interacted with 3 different associates and not a single one of them cared to give me decent customer service. They literally sent me home with broken items. The whole experience was unimpressive and not worth the drive.
