Highly recommend! We have a 2 year old German shepherd mix rescue that has super high anxiety. We had gone to a few other groomers multiple times and never were able to complete the process. He is a large dog and will bark/growl/try to bite if he is anxious about someone new that approaches him. I believe Megan has magical powers when it comes to animals. She loves them all and is very knowledgeable about behaviors. We will be repeat customers as long as she’ll take us!

I love spaw at the cove. I breed and show AKC long haired and smooth coat chihuahua’s… who sometimes can be nervous 😬 spaw at the cove treat my babies like theirs. And saves me time by shaving their whiskers, trimming their pads, brushing their teeth, and clipping their nails before an upcoming show! I am greatful for how well trained they are with all temperaments, and well diverse with skills! Thank you for all your hard work, it doesn’t go unnoticed!

I would give more stars if I could! Lauren was phenomenal with my high anxiety dog. I didn’t think she’d be able to accomplish much, in one visit but…she was able to complete everything! Theo looks great. It was definitely worth the hour drive.

My dog Asher had a bad experience where his knee cap was dislocated at another groomer and I was reluctant to try again. But after reading reviews we went to Spaw at the Cove with Lauren as the groomer. She was calm and patient and allowed me to stay with Asher, as he was anxious and jumpy. He came out looking beautiful and soft. She was reassuring that he did well and it was a positive experience. Thanks Lauren. You were great!

Very accommodating and good location! Our long haired cat had some matting he needed shaved and they did just that and shampooed and blow dried him. He came home with a bow tie and cat cologne on and smelled amazing!

I wouldn’t want to take my girls anywhere else. I have a very nervous miniature goldendoodle and a labradoodle. We used to dread taking them to our previous groomer. Megan is great with the girls. Since we found Megan & Spaw at the Cove, the girls always look fabulous when they are done and it is such a relief to drop them to someone you trust will take great care of them. I highly recommend Spaw at the Cove.

I have been bringing my two schnauzers to Megan at Spaw The Cove since august 2020 and I have yet to be disappointed. My husband and I are very picky about our schnauzers cuts as we want them to have the “schnauzer look”, Megan has been the only person to groom our animals that we have been continually happy with. She does such a wonderful job with them, we are so lucky to have found her and the Spaw! When my dogs are there I know they are well taken care of and every time I go there everyone is so inviting.In the time we have been going to Spaw at the cove, Megan has always been on time, responsive at all times (communicating throughout the appointment if necessary) etc. Most importantly, my dogs are obsessed with her and if you want someone who will care for animal as you would, Megan is where it’s at!! SO grateful to have found her and the Spaw as I know my fur babies are too! Check out Spaw at the Cove, you will not regret it!!-A

I can't say enough about Megan and Spaw at the Cove. She has cared for my now 13 year old lab for a few years now and I would never go anywhere else. He has extremely sensitive skin and Megan has figured out the best regimen for keeping his coat smooth and skin issues at bay. 10 out of 10!

She is an absolute DELIGHT! My dogs are terrified of life (Pomeranians) and when we go there its like ‘mom who’. Megan has taken wonderful care of them and they come out looking beautiful. One of my babies has skin allergies, Megan goes above and beyond to make sure she uses products that aren’t just safe for her but also improves her skin and pain level. It’s very clear she knows her stuff and her heart is all paws! HIGHLY recommend!!!!

We travel 45 minutes to see Megan. I have a very anxious boy who absolutely despises getting his nails clipped. They take the time to make sure he is calm. He still isn’t a fan of getting his nails done but he has made so much progress in the time we have been going. Now all three of my boys go monthly and we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. We love you Megan!

If you want a dog groomer who will talk sweetly to your dog like a person, do either exactly what you want or exactly what you never knew you always wanted, give your dog love breaks, will do research so your dog gets the best groom possible, and is accepting of all good humans- Megan is the groomer for you. If you prefer someone who DOESN’T care how your pet turns out, smells nice all the time, or doesn’t have the support of their community, you’ll have to look elsewhere!
